The Gîte d'Hôtes de Juillard

The Juillard property is located in Périgord Vert between Angoulême and Périgueux, and close (12km) to the town of Villebois La Valette classified by its castle and its covered market halls and an hour's drive from Bergerac.
In the middle of three hectares of raised and fruity garden the lodging with its rooms is a Périgourdine Barn, adjoining the owners' house. We can offer you either the B&B formula or the simple gîte formula.
In Very high season booking between 3 and 5 holidaymakers, 7 nights minimum.
In Spring, two and 5 vacationers, 5 nights minimum.
In autumn between two and 5 holidaymakers from 4 nights minimum.
The standard basic rate is 140 euros for 3 people per night, taxes and fees not included.


The three bedrooms, each over 25 m2, each have their own bathroom, living room and library. One bedroom is on the ground floor, the other two on the first floor in the attic where there is also a tea-maker allowing hot or cold drinks. The fitted kitchen is located in the barn on the ground floor. The accesses are independent, on the side by the terrace of the arrival and on the courtyard and interior garden side.
The whole house, although recently renovated, has kept the spirit of old farmhouses with its rustic beams, exposed stones and old-fashioned openings left in their own juice. You can have the inner courtyard, its pergola or the terrace overlooking the orchard, as well as isolate yourself in the various places in the park.
A charming cottage in a rural calm but close to traders, different markets, local producers. You can discover nearby hiking trails, pretty villages, castles. The summer is active in music festivals, exhibitions and local events. The region is rich in historical and cultural heritage (Bourdeilles, Brantôme, Périgueux, its Romanesque circuit) but also by the diversity of activities that can be offered around botany on natural sites, such as those linked to its gastronomy and his wines. The Bergeracois and its vineyard estates are on the rise and if you are wine lovers you will be charmed to discover this beautiful region and its good addresses.
