Fantastique!

We had a fantastic stay at Marie's gîte. The amount of space is even more than in the photos and it was very comfortable. Marie is very helpful and welcoming but leaves you to enjoy the holiday, while the chickens keep watch! There are plenty of things to do nearby, but you can stay entertained on site if it gets too hot to travel around. THANK YOU!! Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique au gîte de Marie. L'espace est encore plus grand que sur les photos et c'était très confortable. Marie est très serviable et accueillante mais vous laisse profiter de vos vacances, pendant que les poules font le guet ! Il y a beaucoup de choses à faire à proximité, mais vous pouvez rester diverti sur place s'il fait trop chaud pour se déplacer. MERCI !

Rural France

The photos of Marie's beautiful home are perfectly accurate. The grange is lofty and exquisite, the bedrooms and salons comfortable and well appointed. What they don't convey is the warmth of Marie's welcome, her attention to detail and the great sense of space inside and out. The leafy colourful courtyard and the garden beyond offer numerous places to sit in shade or sun and there are broad distant views from the garden. The small village of Nanteuil Auriac de Bourzac is just down the hill, the sweet chime of the church clock audible when you're outside. Otherwise there's total peace in the perfect countryside retreat.

Très accueillant

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans un gîte très agréable, aménagé avec goût. L'hôtesse est très accueillante et riche de conseils. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la région (randonnées, visite du château de Commarque, Angoulème, Périgueux et surtout Brantôme). Nous conseillons vivement le domaine de Juillard.
