Guimar is lovely

Fantastic property and Lucy is a perfect host. Nothing too much trouble. Guimar is very Spanish with few tourists which gives it a unique atmosphere. Restaurants very good and much cheaper than UK.

Fantastic

We had a wonderful time at Lucy’s property.Everything was squeaky clean, plenty of towels and lovely bedding and a well equipped kitchen.The roof terrace was perfect for reading or just watching the world go by.Hearing the sea at night was a perfect way to drift off.Very close by was a great supermarket, with plenty of fresh produce a bakery and a few other shops.We ate in most of the restaurants which were very reasonably priced.I think a car is important if you want to explore Tenerife.Overall wonderful stay

Everything is perfect!

We came the second time already and we surly come back next year. Lucy was always very helpful. All her recommendations are very good. We love to take a swim in the ocean before breakfast and the fresh fish in the restaurants nearby.

Paradise

This is our second visit. Still a very tranquil place. Lucy is a beautiful person. We love the area, it feels safe and all amenities are close. Though we hire a car we prefer to stay in the area. We will be back. Rob, Tanya and William

A little piece of heaven

The most wonderful duplex we have stayed in . Perfect in every way. Lucy is a really lovely person who obviously cares so much for her house and the people who stay in in. Everything that all previous visitors have said about the house and its location we absolutely agree with . We cannot add anything more . We would love to return

Wonderful

Wonderful host and a great place to stay!For the 2nd time already we have spent 3 lovely weeks at Lucy's place in Puertito. We very much enjoyed the house, the surroundings, the friendly neighbors and a lovely weather.. The house is some 10m from the ocean, there are shopping possibilities and many tapas bars, even a bus stop nearby, so you don't really need a car for a relaxing vacation. Lucy is one of the best hosts we have ever known, very friendly and always ready to fullfil all your needs. Perfect communication. We are looking forward to meeting her at her lovely place next year!

A real paradise in Tenerife

We had the best time at this amazing front sea flat and Lucy herself is the most lovely owner we have ever had… It was just perfect! Waking up every morning with sunshine and bleu sea right in front of you and going to sleep with the peaceful sound of waves every night was the paradise. Only Lucy’s place can make it happen! The house is really spacious due to three levels. We can pick and choose either enjoy the sun with the amazing view on two terraces or hang out to chill inside. Also the house is located a few min from everywhere by walking. It was the best located as well. Delicious bakery, fun bistros, convenient supermarket. She offers a parking which is a great option but we had no problems finding a street parking. We just want to thank Lucy for always being so responsive, so sweet and kind, always willing to help us when we asked something. She truly made our three weeks the happiest time. We were so fortunate to have stayed at her house. Muchas gracias Lucy!

Beautiful Duplex with amazing views

Just back from a weeks holiday, cannot rave enough about this apartment. Lucy was so helpful and met us in person to check us in. She was on the end of a telephone and checked in with us a couple of times throughout the week. The duplex was spotless and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay, including fantastic views of the bay. Big supermarket 3 minute walk away, along with a bakery. There were about 8 restaurants in the pedestrian area, but they were mainly tapas style / fish based. This is a truly authentic Spanish place, we didn't hear an English voice for a week (which suited us fine!), but if you want English food, and English speakers this isn't the place for you, but if you want a true relaxed break in a pretty little town with great food and stunning views, then I wouldn't hesitate in booking this place. The roof top terrace was in the sun most of the day, which is where we spent most of our time. Two umbrellas and a purpose built screen provided shade when needed. Also you get your daily exercise going up and down the stairs to the kitchen haha. Was a really beautiful place and I cannot wait to go back.

Tenerife

We enjoyed two wonderful weeks in this property. It was very much as advertised. The property is relatively small, cozy. The location in a small village with no through traffic was a bonus. There is easy access to the major highway system on the Island and easy to access all the areas of Tenerife. Having a dedicated underground parking stall was very helpful. We found finding parking in Tenerife to be very challenging. Lots of driving around to find a place to park, so having our own parking space was excellent. The space itself was a challenge to park in but well worth the effort. The accommodation itself was very comfortable. Being located on a pedestrian only street directly across from a small beach area was a treat. The swimming in early March was excellent. The kitchen area was well stocked although there is no oven so cooking options are more limited. That being said there are a number of outdoor patios with food service located within easy walking distance. The two deck areas in the unit were comfortable and well used. Lucy was very helpful and readily available. All in all a great unit in a great location. If we return to Tenerife we wouldn’t hesitate to book this accommodation again.

Incredibly Gorgeous!

Staying in Lucy's house by the sea is a dream come true - an amazing vacation! My favorite part was sitting on the balcony and admiring the sea. The view is spectacular and the sea is so close. The water is very clear and shows different shades of blue depending on the sun. Lucy is so helpful and accommodating. She made everything easy and she truly wanted my son (12 y.o.) and I to enjoy ourselves while we were in Tenerife. Lucy gave great recommendations and checked in with us throughout our stay. She was a big help with navigating some of the tourist activities that we wanted to do. We visited Siam Park (water park), took a catamaran cruise to snorkel/see whales and dolphins, went deep sea fishing, had dinner at a lovely outdoor restaurant in Santa Cruz, and spent most of our time in the sea right outside our front door. We saw beautiful fish near the rocks. We rented a car and saw as much of the island as possible in 7 days. Lucy provides a parking spot in a garage about one block away and we found parking on the street. This home is just fabulous and it exceeded my expectations. It is more beautiful than the photos show. Three delightful floors - all rooms tastefully decorated. The roof top deck is magnificent. With the windows/doors open, the sea breeze is absolutely lovely. We loved staying in Lucy's home and preferred it over the tourist areas. Locals walk a lot and they seem happy - a beautiful life in this village. We absolutely want to rent again, Lucy! xoxo

Die Zimmer waren sehr schön und entsprachen voll und ganz den Bildern. Lucy hatte viel Geduld mit uns, da der Flieger mit erheblicher Verspätung ankam. Wir waren über WhatsApp in ständiger Verbindung. Sie empfing uns vor der Wohnung. Ein Wehrmutstropfen war die Tiefgarage. Da wir einen großen SUV hatten, passte er nicht in die Parknische. Ist aber kein Problem, da in nicht einmal 5 Minuten Laufzeit ein großer öffentlicher PP zum Abstellen vorhanden ist und immer Plätze frei hat. Der Blick zum Wasser geht nicht besser. Vom Balkon im ersten Stock und vor allem von der darüber liegenden Dachterrasse, ist der Ausblick absolut top. Knappe 10 Meter und man ist im Atlantik. Ein etwa 200 Meter breiter Strand lädt bei Ebbe und Flut zum baden ein. Das kleiner Örtchen Puertito de Güimar hat zahlreiche kleine Restaurants und Pizzeria welche zum Verweilen und Essen einladen. Der Bäcker um die Ecke, die zwei super Eisgeschäfte und die Supermärkte runden alles ab. Es ist ein Ort zum relaxen und wohlfühlen ohne einem Massentourismus ausgesetzt zu sein. Der Ort liegt auch für Ausflüge auf und durch die Insel sehr zentral. Wir können alles mit sehr ruhigem Gewissen weiter empfehlen.

Vor genau 7 Jahren haben wir 6 traumhafte Wochen in diesem Haus verbracht. Jetzt war es so belegt, dass wir es schon vier Monate im Voraus nur noch für 5 Tage buchen konnten. Das Haus und die Vermieterin und auch die Umgebung haben nichts von ihrem Charme eingebüßt.Ein Traum, wie man ihm auf Teneriffa wohl nur selten als Feriendomizil angeboten bekommt.

Wir hatten wundervolle zehn Tage in dem wirklich mit allem ausgestatteten Haus von Lucy. Egal ob es um Küchen- oder Badezimmer-Artikel ging, die man normalerweise selbst mitschleppen oder einkaufen muss – Lucy hatte die gesamte Grundausstattung bereitgestellt. Das Doppelbett war herrlich bequem und dort mit dem Geräusch der Wellen einzuschlafen und wieder aufzuwachen, war einfach herrlich. Dann ein gemütliches Frühstück mit großartiger Aussicht auf den Sonnenaufgang und das Meer von der Dachterrasse aus sowie ein letztes Glas Wein am Abend auf dem kleinen Balkon direkt vorm Schlafzimmer – das Haus war als Ausgangsbasis für alle unsere Ausflüge mehr als geeignet. Der Tiefgaragenstellplatz in naher Nachbarschaft war zudem von Vorteil, wenn man der Tageshitze oder einer Parkplatzsuche aus dem Weg gehen wollte, ansonsten waren auch in der direkten Umgebung kostenlose Parkplätze verfügbar.Die große Auswahl an netten kleinen Restaurants in nächster Umgebung, die kleinen Supermärkte, der Bäcker und die Apotheke im fußläufigen Bereich sowie die großen Supermärkte an der nächsten Autobahnausfahrt, die Wandermöglichkeiten im direkt benachbarten Naturschutzgebiet - als zentrale Basis liegt die Ferienwohnung einfach optimal.Wir werden ganz sicher wiederkommen – und nach Möglichkeit dann auch mit unseren inzwischen erwachsenen Kindern, wenn diese nicht mehr an die Schulferien gebunden sind.Vielen Dank Lucy, dass du dein herrliches Haus zur Verfügung stellst!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Haus von Lucy. Mit ihr hatten wir einen guten und angenehmen Kontakt. Sie war immer sofort erreichbar und hat uns auch die nötigen Informationen zu einer Sturmwarnung gegeben. Lucy ist eine perfekte Gastgeberin. Das Haus ist ebenso perfekt. Die Lage ist nicht zu übertreffen wenn man gerne ausserhalb des Massentourismus wohnt und einen unvergleichlichen Blick auf das Meer mag. Der Ort ist gepflegt und es gibt Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Man kann direkt vom Haus ins Meer baden gehen und dann auf der Dachterasse sonnen. Die Einrichtung ist reichhaltig. Wir kommen sicher wieder.
