Charming apartment in Molino Stucky (SPA, wifi, TV sat, elevator)
One bedroom apartment located right next door to the new Hilton Hotel in a charming 18th century building overlooking the Giudecca Canal, the largest canal in Venice. It is situated high on the fifth floor and is reached by a self-service elevator, a rare commodity in Venice. The apartment is newly built and furnished, it is sunny and bright, non-smoking, and family owned and operated. In short, we have remodeled and furnished it to our own high standards. As a result, it has all the modern luxuries and amenities while retaining their antique charm.
It is all bright, comfortable and quiet (we have special double glazed windows, an important amenity in a noisy city).
The apartment is located in the renowned Molino Stucky complex, in large part transformed into Hilton Hotel. This is a major plus for guests of this apartment, as they are able to use some of its 5 stars amenities (la a Spa, a gym, restaurants, bars and a trendy Skyline Rooftop Bar), to be paid separately, while taking advantage of an affordable accommodation price.
It has terrazzo floors and lovely view (Hilton hotel garden, Lido island and the lagoon). It has a large red marble bathroom with bathtub with shower, toilet and bidet; it even has a washing machine for your clothes.
Ideal for a couple or a family with one or two kids.
The apartment has central air conditioning and heat that you may directly control through a thermostat in the living room. The air conditioning will be activated from June to September. Cooking is a nice way to save money when traveling with a large family, and we try to make it as easy as possible. Our kitchen is fully equipped, including all pots, pans, glasses and dishes that you could possibly need. All this and a dishwasher to clean up with after your meals. We have also provided color TV and stereo with CD player in, as well as irons and ironing board.
Finally, when renting a private home in Venice, always be careful to ask if there is an elevator. The great majority of Venetian buildings have no elevator as a result, bringing a family with luggage up several flights of stairs can present quite a problem. This has been solved in our building by the installation of a fully automatic elevator for your convenience.
Giudecca island has always been one of the favorite summer places of the noble Venetian families who built beautiful villas surrounded by lovely gardens and orchards, as well as churches, monasteries and convents. Some are still standing and others like the monastery of San Biagio became the Molino Stucky, a late 19th century art nouveau grain mill on the Giudecca Island in Venice.
On site or nearby: Piazza San Marco, Venice Biennale, Lido Beach (swimming and boating), Venice Film Festival, Shopping, Restaurants, Museums, Sightseeing, Cinemas, Churches and Synagogues. The new Cipriani Cafe is just yards away.
It is just a couple of minutes far by boat from San Basilio and Zattere (near several museums) and only 10 minutes from San Marco square.

The place was clean but the temperature in the apartment was very hot. No screens on windows so lots of mosquitoes entered the place. The ability to find breakfast other than pastries is non existent. Probably would not stay here again.
We enjoyed and were very comfortable in Claudia's beautiful and spacious apartment in Venice. Being located across the canal in the Giudeccca area of Venice gave us good restaurant options and was away from the intensity and crowds of the San Marco area, yet very close to everything in Venice. Claudia was very helpful to us in her prompt responses to our questions and needs in Venice. We hope to return and stay in her apartment again.

very nice apartment conveniently located
I had a perfect week in this very nice and clean apartment.
Ups: quiet, clean, well equipped, good size rooms for 1-2 Adults
Downs: slow internet, probably not the fault of the owner

Excellent flat.Absolutely comfortable. Perfect for renting.
We spent beautiful days at Claudia and Marco's flat. It is really great. The living room is very spacious with a very modern kitchen. All the flat is full of light. The bedroom has very good wardrobes. The location is perfect. The owners are very kind people always ready to help you. It's 15vminutes by boat to San Marco and at night a perfect place to rest and enjoy the little restaurants of Giudecca at the same time you look across the water the beautiful Venice. Graciela

Very nice appartment in perfect surroundings
The appartment was perfect for our weekend for 2. Everything you should need was there. Because of our short stay, we did not use the fully equipped kitchen. Guidecca is a great place if you don't want to stay in the touristic center of Venice, yet very close by. The free Hilton ferry to San Marco is very convenient, as are the vaporetto stops on the Island. Plenty of good restaurants close by, in different price ranges.
Communication with Claudia was always prompt and to the point. We were greeted on arrival by Daniela, who was very kind. It even was no problem to check out late because we had a flight back only in the evening.
Would recommend this appartment to everybody, for longer stays too. If we come back to Venice, it will be here again!

Molino Stucky apartment - Guidecca
A very enjoyable stay in this lovely one-bedroom apartment which was spotlessly clean, secure, quiet, warm and perfectly located for anyone wanting to spend time away from the crowds. The English speaking owners were friendly, helpful and quick to respond t all my emails. Use of the Hilton facilities was a bonus and the shuttle boat to San Marco extremely useful. I would certainly stay here again .

Excellent choice
Stayed for 9 nights in this very comfortable apartment in the Molino Stucky building. Clean, modern, comfortable, all facilities as described, quiet. Elevator was appreciated! Use of the Hilton Molino Stucky shuttle boat (free!) was a bonus. Met on arrival by Marco, owner, who showed us around, and provided lots of useful information. Lots of restaurants within walking distance, or easy to cross the lagoon by boat to Zaterre or San Marco for more choices.

great view too!
We made contact with the manager of this property who had everything set and met us on arrival. As we were just across the Guidecca canal from Venice and the adjoining Hilton has a scheduled shuttle which we took advantage? We discovered that Guidecca island had many places to explore, some fine restaurants and night life that was conveient and fairly priced. This apartment is a great value, conveient, modern, and access able with elevator.

Quite and peace in a incredible area of Venice!
I had a wonderful stay in this great apartment. It was so well-equipped, really clean and provided everything I needed, that I felt like being at home. The view is stunning, you can see a part of Lido island
and the lagoon from the vindows.
Before I went, I was worried about being on Giudecca, but I changed my mind as soon as I arrived. Alilaguna boat brought me there directly from the airport and from Molino Stucky there is a free boat, which brings you in 2 minutes to Zattere, near museums like Accademia and the Guggenheim museums, and in 10 minutes in San Marco square without the need of taking the public boats. I think the location is excellent and I would not hesitate to
recommend this apartment to family and friends. In Giudecca I felt like a local, a part of the community, very different than in the touristic areas. I could eat in nice "trattorie", in the expensive Harry's dolci, but also in the apartment. I felt also secure and the owners are really helpful and ready to reply to any questions
My wife and I, both Pharmacists, own this charming apartment. We love traveling around the world and meeting new people. We usually give them tips and tricks about our wonderful city and country. I was born in Vicenza, but I have lived here most of the time with my Venician wife. I like cooking cakes and there is the possibility that I can share with you or cook for you some Italian recipes. We want you to feel in our apartment the real italian hospitality! We do our best to make guests feel at home and welcome.
