Your island home is situated on the mountain side of the second floor of a triplex building - Pu'uwai O' Kahalu'u (in the heart of Kahalu'u) There is easy access from the garage to your unit. Air-conditioning in the living area and ceiling fans throughout. Fully stocked kitchen and 1,100 square feet plus 350 square feet in covered lanais with ocean/beach views. Sleeps up to 6 people with 1 queen bed in each bedroom, and a daybed with 2 twin mattresses in area between dining and living rooms. Fall asleep to the sound of the surf!
Walk across the street to Kahalu'u Beach Park - the premier snorkel and surf spot on the Island. The neighborhood has several board rental shops and the next door neighbor runs a surf school. Snorkel gear available to rent at the beach. Located less than 1 mile away are shops, restaurants, a movie theater, grocery store, drug store, and Keauhou Urgent Care – hopefully not needed. Less than 2 miles to Keauhou Bay Pier, the departure site for various activities including swimming with the Manta Rays. Kona Country Club has re-opened less than a mile away and Makalei Golf Club boasts a challenging course with expansive ocean views, reasonable prices, and is located just 10 miles away.

Wonderful place to stay! Clean, nicely stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook your meals, across the street from the beach, beach towels, boogie boards….so great!!!
Great open concept accommodation across the street from awesome snorkling. On direct (free) bus route to downtown Kona (10-15min) and 5 min to grocery store and restaurants. Fantastic deck from which to watch the sunset nightly. Place was very clean and the beds were very comfortable
Had an amazing stay here! The location is perfect being next to Kahalu’u Beach Park. We were able to walk down to the water for some relaxation or sunsets almost every day. Most of our scheduled activities were within 2-15 minutes of the spot (snorkeling, surfing, market). We loved how quiet the spot was while still being close to everything. Even with a family of 5, we felt things were spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend staying here.

This property was lovely. The unit is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The only issue was the bumpy driveway and tight parking. I would definitely stay here again.
The property was in a perfect location. My family really enjoys Snorkeling at the beach that is walking distance from the property so we never had to worry about parking. The property itself was clean and spacious. I come to the Big Island yearly and I would stay here again.
Beautiful condo, had everything we needed. Sunset views, lovely beach park at your door step. Snorkel equipment a bonus!. Clean and comfortable. Hope to someday return.
I swam with sea turtles. What else do you want me to say? Oh, I drove 2 hours and witnessed the start of the 1/15 Kilauea eruption. Amazing.

We enjoyed our short stay. The condo was clean and organized. Plenty of space for my family of six. The thing we loved the most was the location, proximity to such a great beach was so fun. The only downside was the internet. We could never get it to work, even after following their instructions.
Being within walking distance of the best snorkeling beach on the island was incredible and we took advantage of every opportunity! Booked a surf class that was within walking distance, too. Communication with the property manager was prompt and helpful. We've stayed in a lot of rentals and this, by far, had every supply we needed and more! Having AC in the main living areas and fans in the bedrooms cooled things off nicely. Washer/dryer is a big plus for families. Hope to be back again soon!
My family stayed here in April 2023 and had a wonderful time. The location is amazing! It's a short walk across Ali'i Drive to Kahalu'u Beach Park (public beach with great, easy snorkeling - also lifeguards, restrooms and showers), and convenient for other activities in the Kona-Kailua area. It's also a quick 5 minute drive to Keauhou Shopping Center (grocery store and a variety of restaurants). The unit is very nice, with comfortable beds, an A/C unit, roomy lanai with views of the beach, ping pong table, and a well-stocked kitchen. The management company even brought by a drying rack for us, when we asked. A wonderful experience!
We loved staying here. We were on the mountain side but still were able to have an ocean view from the front deck area as well as the back. It was a wonderful spot to return to after a long day out. The fans and AC kept it cool enough. It was central to all our needs and walking across the street to snorkel and surf was a bonus . There is a bbq on the deck that we used nightly for dinner.we got our daily walks in right on the road up to the local coffee shops. It was so nice to return to a place so convenient but not crowded. We will stay here again and again- property manager gets 10/10 for responsiveness and kindness. Met all my cleaning standards as well. For those wondering about beach items there were towels, chairs, snorkeling items and water shoes. That being said they don’t supply those items but were left by other guests.def a must stay!

Get away for fun
We stayed at your place but we had a difficult time finding the place. It was dark, identifying landmarks were unclear
There needs to say this place does not have an elevator.
The sheets on my bed were paper thin with pill marks
The kitchen was adequately equipped
The bathroom we asked to have safety handles put in
They put them in an awkward place
The tv was hard to figure out
I suggest they put lights on the address and the garage so we could find it
It was quiet tho

This condo has everything you could want. It’s quiet and peaceful. The location across the street from the beautiful Kahalu’u lagoon makes snorkeling every day convenient. There were so many species of reef fish to enjoy; we loved that. We watched the sunset from the front lanai. We loved the large french sliding doors in front and in the owner’s bedroom, and the large sliding windows in both bedrooms. With fans and open windows, we rarely needed the ac. You can watch birds and geckos from the back lanai. A grocery store and pharmacy are close. The dining table seats six, and there are several couches and comfortable chairs. The laundry on site was helpful, too, as are the beach towels. It was roomy and relaxing whenever we came home.
Location was great but barely an ocean view. Even with directions difficult to find, didn’t find the hand painted blue waves on the white fence? Disappointed the snorkeling beach across the street was closed the first half of our stay. The tvs didn’t work. Had to call the manager several times to get the 2nd key. Once the maintenance guy came he was very helpful and fixed the screen door and replaced 1 tv. The tv in the bedroom never did work. Overall happy with our stay.

Excellent location, great for families with children
We loved staying at this place! We are a family of 6 and had enough room for everyone. Two kids slept on the daybed (2 twin mattresses) and said it was very comfortable. The window A/C unit in the living area was much appreciated. The bedrooms got a bit warm, so we left the doors open and put fans to pull cold air from the living area into the bedrooms and that worked well. What was most notable about this property was its location right across from Kahalu’u beach, one of the best snorkeling beaches! You really can’t beat this location. It’s a short drive to Kona for shopping/dining and some of the best beaches like Kua Bay & Hapuna Beach are not far (35-50 min drive). There were snorkels, fins, chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards in the shared garage space which was great! Another wonderful amenity that we didn’t know about until after we booked is the wonderful complimentary concierge service. David was super helpful with recommendations for dining and things to do, getting activities booked, and other questions during our stay. Would stay here again and highly recommend! Thank you!
