My dad built the Sheep Camp in 1992 and named it after his childhood sheep ranch in eastern Montana where they raised hundreds of sheep during the early 1900s. Now there are no longer sheep, but it is a working cattle ranch. Don't be surprised - you may see a few cows on the road into the Sheep Camp!

Why they chose this property

The Bitterroot Valley has always had a special magic for me. I lived here when I was very young and as soon as I was able, I returned to the Bitterroot to raise my family because for me it is the best place ever. I hope you will love it as much as I do.

What makes this property unique

Eeyore and Lucy are resident burros who originally came from a petting zoo. If you would like to meet them, they would be so happy to be fed some carrots...
