Erg prettig appartement: fijne slaapkamer, goede woonkamer en keuken, terras met ochtendzon (en met zomertijd zelfs tot vier uur ‘s middags in april ). Geweldige locatie: centrum, vlak bij bussen en restaurants, supermarkt op onderste verdieping. En ‘s avonds uitzicht op de lichtjes van Funchal. We hebben het hier geweldig gehad.

Entspannender Stadturlaub
Schöne kleine Wohnung in der Innenstadt von Funchal. Es war alles vorhanden, was man in einem Urlaub so braucht. Wer selbst kochen möchte findet in der Küche alles vor. Man sollte aber nicht versäumen, in einige der vielen kleinen Lokale in der Nähe zu gehen.
Entgegen anderer Aussagen fand ich die Matratze im Schlafzimmer sehr angenehm. 14 Tage gut geschlafen.
Im Wohnzimmer findet man ein gemütliches Sofa und für schlechtes Wetter einen ordentlichen Fernseher, bereit für Netflix und Prime.
Bedanken möchte ich auf diesem Wege noch einmal bei Maria. Eine außergewöhnlich nette Dame. Vom Empfang bei meiner Ankunft bis zu Abreise kann ich nur gutes über Maria berichten. Ich bin mir sicher, wir sehen uns wieder:-)

Top Lage, Top Appartment
Wir haben Ende Juni Anfang Juli 10 Tage hier verbracht. Schon die Anreise vom Flughafen mit dem Aerobus (5 Euro p.P.) war einfach und komfortabel. Die Haltestelle ist nur 40 Meter vom Haus entfernt. Maria, die Vermieterin, hat uns abgeholt.
Im Gebäude geht es dann mit dem Fahrstuhl bis zur Wohnung. Alles war genauso schön wie auf den Fotos. Alle Räume sind gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist phänomenal. Nach links sieht man die Hänge hinauf Funchal, das sieht Abends wie ein Weihnachtsbaum aus, und nach rechts das offene Meer.
Maria ist jederzeit telefonisch erreichbar. Notfalls wäre sie auch selbst gleich da. Sie wohnt auf der anderen Gebäudeseite. Für diejenigen die mit einem Mietwagen kommen: sagt Maria Bescheid und sie reserviert euch im Gebäude einen Stellplatz auf dem Parkdeck,
Alle Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs sind im Gebäude selbst erhältlich. Im UG gibt es einen riesigen Supermarkt auch mit frischen Backwaren, Fleisch- Käse- und Fischtheke.
Die Seilbahn hinauf zum Monte ist zu Fuß in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Ebenso die Altstadt, der berühmte Fischmarkt oder die Hafenprommenade. Im Umkreis von ein paar hundert Metern gibt es unzählige Cafes, Bars und Restaurants. Wir haben viele probiert und immer gut gegessen.
Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch bei Maria.
