This new apartment is located in the heart of Trastevere in Piazza della Malva. It offers its guests the maximum comfort in the Eternal City. It is the ideal accommodation for those wishing to indulge in the charm of Ancient Popular Rome, the area actually, still dominated by beautiful cobbled streets, hidden squares, historic buildings, restaurants, cafés, craft shops and small boutiques.

The neighborhood is full of life, day and night and this makes Trastevere the ideal destination for those who are seeking the true soul of the city, in addition to the monuments. Actually, Trastevere is still one of the most loved areas of the city by the Romans as well as tourists who are visiting the Eternal City.

The apartment has been recently refurbished and consists of two beautiful, spacious and bright double bedrooms with an extra bed on request, anteroom with a sofa bed, a nice living room with sofa, a TV and extendable table, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathrooms with shower.

The apartment is equipped with all comforts including air conditioning, heating, internet wifi, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, oven and microwave, kettle, espresso coffee maker, fridge with freezer, iron and ironing board, bed linen and towels.

The apartment is very quiet due to the soundproof windows and due to the fact that it is located on the third floor (with elevator) of a typical old building.

Nearby there are supermarkets, restaurants, taverns, bars and pubs. The main tourist attractions can be reached on foot or by public transport, which is also at your fingertips.

Perfect Location

We spent four night in this home away from home that we didn’t want to leave! We fell in love with the area as it was where the local residents live and eat and commune! It was a true Italian experience and close enough to get to all of the historical areas that we wanted to visit! We will be back!

Busy but great location

Walkable to many sites in Rome. Glad we had air conditioning since the area is very noisy especially on weekends. Nice apartment for four women traveling together.

Perfect location!!! Fun and beautiful area, had an amazing stay here.

Apartment was very clean and just as pictured in the listing, very nice and comfortable. Entertainment abound, so many beautiful places to explore in this area. We could not have picked a better place to stay. We all loved the location, comfy beds and great apartment. The lift was a bonus for getting our luggage to the apartment. Would definitely stay here again, we didn’t want to leave.

Much needed getaway

Loved the location! The check-in was unexpectedly challenging, as the adjacent baggage storage facility where we were supposed to get the keys was unexpectedly closed. The property manager was very receptive and came to sort things out personally. No problems after that! Lovely breakfast spot just downstairs and many delicious restaurants wi the in steps. Beautiful and comfortable apartment!

Great location and very clean!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The place is spacious and in a great location. It is lively outside, but the windows do keep most of the noise out. If you are very sensitive to noise, you may want to bring some earplugs. The apartment was well appointed. The coffee maker is a moka pot. If you are not familiar with how to use one, you may want to look it up before arrival. (We have had one for many years, so we were very familiar with how to use it.) Some coffee was kindly provided in the kitchen along with sugar. There is also an electric water kettle and a stove top version if you prefer tea. There are many restaurants, bars, and cafés nearby, including some right outside the apartment building. The elevator is small but comes in handy if you can't walk up the stairs. The apartment managers were very nice and easy to work with. We even took them up on the offer to arrange for a van to bring us to and from the airport. We thought the price was reasonable and the service was excellent. We highly recommend this apartment and would book again when we are in Rome.

Cute Spot in a Great Location

This property was a perfect space for four for a few days. The location was wonderful with bars, restaurants, stores, etc all steps away from the condo and just a minute from the river. The property is charming and well maintained. The owners are in constant contact and responded as soon as we messaged about a need for additional necessities in the space. I would stay here again!

Fun neighborhood, great location

Great location, clean place. 3rd bedroom isnt really a private bedroom, as you must walk though it to get to the bathroom and front door. But it worked for us and we were happy with our stay. The neighborhood was so lively and fun, and easy and convenient to all the popular attractions.

Great Flat, Great Location

The flat was as described and the check in/out process was very efficient. The area is very lively but it was very quiet in the flat. We were able to walk to quite a bit and found access to public transportation very convenient as well. Overall a great place and area to stay.

Large apartment

Big bedrooms, nice bathroom and kitchen. Very friendly hosts. We liked the neighborhood and the nearby restaurants, especially za’umberto. We felt very comfortable. Taxi stand nearby, very convenient. Only one minor fault,place is a bit dark. There’s a foldout bed we didn’t use, seems it can accommodate six.

Great location for foodies

This property is located in a third floor apartment with a small lift. It is typical of the area with high ceilings and lots of stairs. Beds are comfortable and clean, bathroom is clean with plenty of hot water. Location is in the Trastevere district which has an amazing selection of cafes, bakeries, gelaterias, bars and restaurants. There is an open air food market with the most amazing fresh food (visited in September). Be aware that there is a lot of colorful graffiti in the area but unlike the US, it doesn’t portend gang/criminal activity. Walked the area at night without concerns for safety. Easy location for use of public transportation. Check out Bacco just outside the buildings door. Great food and wine.

Brilliant location in the heart of Trastevere!

The apartment is just as the pictures on the website. The car service from the airport was definitely worthwhile. Check in was easy, communication with the managers excellent. The apartment was very comfortable, beds super comfy, bedrooms are a good size. Perfect apartment for 5 nights in Rome. Kitchen/dining/lounge small, but worked perfectly. Enjoyed being in walking distance to restaurants and all the major tourist sites. The Campo di Fiori food market is just across the bridge and has amazing local produce. I would recommend this apartment for 2 couples, or 1 couple/child.

Better Suited for Younger

My family of four (two adults, two teens) stayed at a couple of Rome VRBOs and this one fell short for us. The neighborhood is better suited for younger or without kids. The host sends a very detailed pdf file explaining everything, but in a foreign city it was overwhelming. Compared to other places we stayed at on this trip, it had the bare minimums. Overall it isn’t a horrible VRBO, it just wasn’t for us.

This apartment is adorable and super clean. It is in a great neighborhood with amazing restaurants and bars nearby. Loved every minute! It’s a hotspot for locals so can be a bit loud at night but shutting the windows solved that. The hosts were AMAZING! Very communicative and responsive. We had an issue when arriving with a key being broken off in the lock and they were there in ten minutes to resolve it. Loved it and would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone I know going to Rome!

The apartment was everything that it was advertised to be. The location was strategically positioned for easy walking access to the major destinations within Ancient Rome and surrounded by impressive churches and cathedrals full of priceless artwork. The history in and around the Piazza di S. Giovanni della Malva and surrounding Trastevere was humbling. We began our time in Rome at the end of a trans-Atlantic cruise so the washer/dryer in the unit was a Godsend. The elevator, though small (2-person) was welcomed after days of hiking the seven hills of Rome.

The best location you could ask for.

Absolutely loved this spot. The 3 separate sleeping areas were perfect for my wife and I and 2 grown children. Very convenient storage locker right next door to the apartment to check-in and get keys. Great communication leading up to our stay. There were fantastic restaurants and nightlife just outside our door and it's steps away from the pedestrian bridge to head towards Rome city center. A balcony would have been cool but we didn't really miss it or want to hang in the room much. So happy we chose Trestavere neighborhood and lucked into finding this apartment. I think if you require absolute silence, then other spots might suit better, but we would not have picked anywhere different and I can only hope to return there again.

Perfect home base for a few nights in Rome

The apartment was a perfect home base for our family (10, 13 and two parents) to explore Rome by foot for a few days. We love walking, so the location was incredible - Trastevere is a great spot to explore and eat of course - but it's also a super jumping-off spot to explore the 'main' parts of the city. We got a cab from the airport, and a cab to the train station, but other than that, walked everywhere, and I'm sure there are other neighbourhoods/apartments you could do this from, we felt lucky to have chosen here. The apartment itself is quiet, despite the activity out on the street. It's got several rooms - great for spreading out - but a little harder to hang out all together - but that's why we went out exploring. Would definitely come back here on our next visit to Rome!

Very nice apartment

As a married couple traveling with two adult children (a man and a woman) navigating room and bed assignments was tricky here. The pull out sofa bed would not have worked well for us for many days, but it worked fine for our short stay. The apartment would be fine for two couples or a family with younger kids. Check in and check out and general communication with our hosts was excellent. A/C is provided by three heat pumps but electric capacity allows for only two running at the same time. Temps in the 80’s were manageable but if they were higher that might be an issue. Can’t beat the location. We’ve stayed in Travestere before and love it for all the food, small shops, and night life. The apartment is close to the foot bridge across the Tiber so is terrific for walking to the downtown sites.

A great spot for our family

This was a great place to stay. The location is amazing. We were here mid week and we had heard the area can be noisy because it is so vibrant. We had the windows closed and AC on and heard no noise. The location is amazing. 15-20 min walk to the Vatican. There is a taxi station right around the corner so we could get anywhere quickly. We were glad that we took a taxi from Termini Station as it was only 12 euros rather than taking a train/tram/ and then walking. Our host was super helpful. She organized a car service to Positano which at 500 euros was very reasonable versus what I could find and it was in a Mercedes van that fit all 5 of us comfortably along with our luggage. The restaurant right outside the door was amazing both for food, but more importantly, for the friendliness of the staff. We ate elsewhere in Trastevere and found nowhere with a better combination of food, service and price. Having the luggage service right next door is also a great perk. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Great location, great apartment and great host team

This was the perfect apartment in the perfect neighborhood for our family of 4 (kids 21 & 23) to spend. The property was as described. Very spacious with a nice bathroom, 2 big bedrooms, a full kitchen and two living/sitting areas. One of the sofas in one of the living rooms converts to a bed. Although the bed in the second bedroom was large enough to fit our two boys comfortably, one chose to sleep in the living room. Communication was very smooth with the management staff. All done through WhatsApp. They sent a nice informative Pdf brochure that explained everything. There is a luggage storage place directly next door where you can drop off luggage if the place is not ready and where you eventually pick up the keys to the apartment. Very nice location as we love the Trastevere neighborhood. I highly recommend this place for your stay in the Eternal City!
