Overall, the house is beautiful and convenient to all the local restaurants and act that are within walking distance. Great place and great neighborhood. Karl was very accommodating to our group. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit.

We had a great stay in this nice home in Bemus Point. It fit all of our needs and was in a perfect location close to food, shops, etc. The neighbor next door was also very friendly.

Bachelorette Weekend

The house was perfect for our stay. It was a mother/daughter weekend getaway for one of my daughters who is getting married this summer. It was close to wineries and local restaurants. The house provided a place to hang out and relax.

Very well kept home and outdoor property. Everything that one could need was provided. Very much appreciated the fans, helped to circulate cool air from window air conditioners. Perfect place for 4 wonderful friends to spend a few days during their (50th) JHS class reunion. Its my 3rd stay and hope to be back. Very clean and well stocked with supplies. Close to town with numerous choices for dinner. Easy access to the highway. Thanks for the memories!!!

Wonderful family weekend

Siblings trip 2022

Another amazing siblings trip! The house has been painted inside and a beautiful new roof over the back patio. Very clean and the owners are great to work with. We have nothing negative to say about this home. We had a great time enjoying the yard. This house just feels like home. Until next year. We already can't wait. PS..you can walk every where. Nice home

We enjoyed our stay despite there being a large hornets nest and ground hornets in both the front and back yards and were told several times that it would get taken care and it did not! A friend took care of it for us! We were trying to vacuum the carpet and the vacuum cleaner smelled like a wet dog and we had family coming to visit! The beds were comfortable and the neighbors very friendly and helpful! No bathroom upstairs was inconvenient especially with a 5 year old sleeping upstairs!

Mom bought this house in 1983 and the kids decided to keep growing the memories in this community. Having grown up in Sunset Bay on Chautauqua Lake, (KASchwartz, LLC) now own this village house and keep it up to date and available for rent all seasons. In honor of their Mom, Dad and Sister, brothers Kurt & Karl want to keep this part of what they have always known, a house near the lake in Bemus Point, the center of Chautauqua Lake. We invite you to book, stay and enjoy this well kept quaint house, easy drive to so much, easy to walk it all off !

Why they chose this property

The endless number of 4 season activities available and the location, in the heart of the Western Southern Tier of New York State in Chautauqua County, is why this house is so desirable. 45 minutes to the East - Allegheny State Park, 40 minutes West, Lake Erie. Precious resources abound within 60 minutes N, S, E W. Not to mention what is just 3-5 minutes Walk. The extra lot is just that, extra. Not many in the village have this. Red Maples, and natural flora make this center of the village lot extraordinary from late Spring through Fall, or in the prime of winter for snowmobiles and trailer. A short walk/drive brings you directly to the boat launch, center of the village or village park with playground picnic tables or opposite direction is the golf course, restaurants and leisure. A short drive of 6 minutes West brings you to Long Point State Park with bigger boat launch, beach, beautiful park but very under utilized! Head East to Jamestown, NY - Home of the National Comedy Center.
