Beautiful 5*resort
This excellently maintained luxury 2 bed apartment is situated on the exclusive Praia Del Rey Golf and Country Club Resort. The apartments were awarded a Gold Medal for the best construction in Portugal by Home Overseas. It is fully furnished to a very high standard with four sun terraces giving total privacy. Both bedrooms open on to a terrace and the apartment is centrally heated and has a wood burning fire for winter months.

The apartment is next to the driving range and Clubhouse overlooking the 6th Tee. The apartment has the use of a heated communal and children's pool and is also located close to a beautiful beach. Praia Del Rey is Portugal's No. 1 golf course and is ranked 13th in Europe by Golf World. The Clubhouse is located a 2 minutes walk and offers a restaurant, bar, snacks and lounge area with cable TV and games room. There are also all weather tennis courts available.

Flights/Car Hire: The closest Airport is Lisbon and is serviced by flights with British Airways, Monarch, TAP, Easyjet, Ryanair and Aer Lingus Booking as early as possible will enable you to get some very reasonable rates. For Car Hire it is also advisable to book car hire before arrival and this will again secure the best rates. The drive to Praia del Rey is about 50 miles and nearly all of it is on a motorway and is very easy. If you take a taxi from the airport it will cost approx. 70-90 euros.

Activities: Within the Praia del Rey complex is an 18 hole Championship golf course - Clubhouse with restaurant. 5* Marriot Hotel with restaurants, spas and fitness rooms. Seven all weather tennis courts. Childrens activity playground. Swimming pool. Beach for sunbathing or long walks. 3km is Obidos Lagoon - ideal for paddling with very small children.
There is also a Club Adventura for children up to the ages of 16 whereby they can undertake activities, under strict supervision from qualified staff, from surfing, sailing, paint balling, etc.

The Area: Obidos and Peniche are the two large interesting towns close by. Obidos dates from 300BC and a world heritage town with narrow streets leading to a castle at the top of the hill surrounded by a walled town. It is very pretty with its whitewashed walls and blue paint with bourganvilla's and hanging baskets of cascading flowers. Peniche is a working fishing port where day trips to the Berlengas Islands (National Park) can be taken in summer. Other towns Bombarral (wine), Caldas da Rainha ( good shopping, market and restaurants), Foz do Arrelho (alternate beaches) Fatima (religious shrine) Lisbon (museums, shopping and nightlife).

Fantastic 2 bed apt on Praia del Rey golf complex

Amazing first floor spacious apartment with four terraces. Very clean and well kept. Kitchen had everything you needed. Each terrace was equipped with furniture. Overlooking a very delightful pool. Husband played gold whilst I worked online using the fast sped internet. Highly recommend as we will be staying again if in the area.

Gorgeous and remote

This condo was so roomy, breezy, and beautiful. There was no Air Con, but the crossbreezes from the 4 terraces around the house kept us nice and cool. The green spaces were beautifully kept and the pool was so nice after a hot day. The clubhouse was a short 5 minute walk away. The only thing to note is that you are pretty stuck out in the area if you don't have your own car. We were using ubers and did get very lucky with service, but we were told many times that uber service is very sparce so far from any large cities.

I agree the area is quite but that is what makes it special for us, a car is almost an necessity, especially if you want to explore the wonderful towns nearby, but to be honest the uber service is really improving so that helps too!

Très bien accueillis par l'agence qui gère les arrivées et départs Superbe complexe résidentiel entouré de terrains de golf et proche de l'océan. L'appartement est dans un îlot de petites résidences privatives parfaitement entretenues. Nous en avions plein les yeux en arrivant. Belle décoration. Très propre. Tout le confort nécessaire. Micro climat dans le complexe qui est resté aéré même les jours de plein soleil pendant notre séjour. Et les terrasses tout le long du logement le rendent lumineux et suffisamment frais sans clim.Nous avons profité de la piscine entourée de verdure et de jolies fleurs dans les allées de la résidence.Pas trop de monde pendant notre séjour donc tranquilles.Possibilité de jogger ou marcher ou faire du vélo dans le complexe.Jolie plage proche.A environ 1h15 du centre ville de Lisbonne. Vraiment un très agréable séjour.

Très bel appartement, spacieux, idéal famille avec 2 enfants

D’abord, le descriptif et photos sont tout à fait conformes à la réalité sur place. Les renseignements par mail de Roseana sont très réactifs et plein de bons conseils. Ensuite, la prise en charge par l’agence sur place est vraiment parfaite. L’appartement est très spacieux, très lumineux, 4 terrasses vraiment agréables, et tout est très bien agencé. A noter literie confortable appréciable. Très belle piscine commune facilement accessible et pas surchargée, à refait pour enfants et adultes. L’environnement est très calme sinon recherche le repos. La plage a 5 min en voiture est superbe ! Et plein de découvertes natures ou culturelles à faire dans les environs, Peniche, Óbidos, ...Vraiment parfait !

Prachtig appartement

Mooi ruim appartement met veel ruimte buiten doordat er meerdere balkons zijn. Hierdoor konden we, in deze iets minder warme periode , steeds een plekje in de zon vinden. Appartement ligt aan het zwembad en ongeveer een kwartiertje lopen van een heerlijk rustig strand. Appartement is van alle luxe voorzien oa vaatwasser en wasmachine. In de buurt van leuke stadjes en op een uurtje rijden van Lissabon.

Una muy agradable estancia!. Si quieres un lugar tranquilo para desconectar, sin ruidos, "vecinos" respetuosos, y un ambiente de relax y desconexión, ...recomiendo este apartamento, Playas muy cerca a solo 3m en coche, 15m andando. Piscina e instalaciones muy limpias, y el apartamento amplio, cómodo y con todas las necesidades cubiertas.

A little gem, what a find!!!

Hi Roseanna, thanks so much for your beautiful apartment in Praia Del Rey. We had the most amazing time there. While the weather wasn't great for March we look forward to returning in the summer to enjoy the cosy comfort of this spotlessly clean apartment with a fantastic choice of balcony's and views!!! The resort has so much going on with the Marriott Hotel, the clubhouse and the beach all within walking distance. We had a lovely meal at the restaurant near the entrance to the resort, so reasonable, and well worth a visit. With the car hire its only about 50mins to the apartment and it makes visiting the towns and villages in the area so accessible and they are all well worth a visit: the walled town of Obidos, the surfing town of Peniche, we had lunch at the lagoon, fantastic value and scenery. Roseanna, your Guide Book kept at the apartment was such a help to us with a wealth of info on restaurants and attractions. Come the evening we found it so easy to chill in the beautifully decorated apartment with a glass of wine and a movie on the t.v. and the free WiFi makes such a difference. Thanks again for a wonderful stay and we really are looking forward to a return visit. I would recommend your apartment to anyone visiting this area as it is perfect and we had a very memorable holiday!!! Cant wait for our return trip!!!

Great apartment very spacious, and modern. The choice of balconies is great fo following the sun. Lovely pool and BBQ area also. It was so quiet and peaceful I slept like a baby.

We are a family from Ireland, we spent 6/7 years renting in PDR with our children and loved it, we decided finally to purchase a property so we can continue to spend time here, it is such a beautiful resort.

Why they chose this property

Because we spent so many years on holiday in PDR we had an opportunity to rent in many different areas of the resort. We love the location of our apartment it is very central in the resort beside the driving range and clubhouse and a short walk to the Hotel and beach.

What makes this property unique

Our apartment is on the first floor (no one above us) we overlook the pool and have four private terraces so there is always a sunny spot to relax with your book and enjoy the views.
