About this property
Luxury Retreat w/ Amenities, Private chef, Pool
Tres Palmas Costa Rica is 45 min from the town of Puerto Jimenez, up the mountain in a lush rainforest with lots of wildlife to see. We are an off the grid villa that needs 4x4 transportation to our gate code access. We require food service from our own chef/property manager at a separate cost of $50 per person per day for all 3 meals. Our water view over looking the rainforest is unforgettable.
Tres Palmas Costa Rica can also provide tours from zip lining, horseback riding, and much more!
This Beautiful Tropical Paradise Home sits on a hilltop overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Below are three of the most Exotic Beaches in the Osa Peninsula, `Cabo Matapalo`. Pan Dulce, Backwash Bay, and Playa Matapalo de Osa.
This house was built with luxury and comfort in mind and has all the comforts of home. As the owner of Tres Palmas says `Mi Casa es Su Casa`.
The beach is a short walk down our tropical pathway through dense primary rain forest. It`s common to see all four types of Monkeys, Scarlett Macaws, Toucans, Sloths, Anteaters and other wildlife.
The property is surrounded by thousands of acres of rain forest that connects to the famed Corcovado National Park. Corcovado National Park is home to 80% of all the wildlife species found in Costa Rica.
We can plan or book your entire trip to Tres Palmas Costa Rica starting from San Jose. From travel arrangements to tours, we provide more than just a stay with beautiful views.
We will arrange any tours you might want to go on and activities you might want to attend. We can also setup onsite massages, wedding and honeymoon planning, thrilling fishing charters and much more.
With our onsite chef, he can him prepare dishes that you have requested or simply let him create authentic Costa Rican cuisine for you. All seafood is fresh and caught locally. All fruits and vegetables are fresh picked and grown locally.
THE HOME
Tres Palmas is one of the largest and most exotic rental homes in all of the Osa Peninsula. It sleeps up to 16 guests very comfortably in our four detached private suites, all with private bathrooms and alfresco showers, and a large loft in central house.
There is a massive palm thatched rancho which serves as the central gathering and entertaining area of the house. It is nearly 3000 square feet that encompasses two living rooms, a TV room, dining room, gourmet kitchen and a large center circle that is ideal for Yoga groups.
TEMPERATURES
Being elevated on hilltop, Tres Palmas catches all of the cool Pacific Ocean breezes. Since it also borders the cool rain forest on three sides, Tres Palmas stays cool and refreshing throughout the year.
You will actually need to cover up with a thin blanket at night, as the window with louver`s and screens lets in the cool nights breezes coming in off the ocean.
FOOD
It is nice to eat as the locals and since we are surrounded by water, fresh seafood is available all year-round. Nothing flash frozen or farmed just all natural. From local cuisine to his touch on other dishes, you will not go hungry.
Three meals per day per person $50
SPA SERVICES
We have a full-time masseuse on-site so you can get a massage anytime you like. After a long day hiking, there is nothing better than a nice massage with the natural sounds of the forest.
KEYWORDS: Sleeps 4, Sleeps 8, Sleeps 12, Osa Peninsula Vacation Rental.
Guests will enjoy the entire property to explore the natural habitat and wildlife Costa Rica has to offer.
We offer full time concierge service to help you plan your tours and activities prior to your arrival and/or during your stay. There are so many things to do in the Osa Peninsula and so many options when it comes to tours, safari’s and excursions that it is almost impossible to know what service to use. Since we are based in Costa Rica and know these companies and work with them directly, we can help.
Please contact me to book the excursions before you leave. Check the guide for more info.
The Osa Peninsula is one of the most biologically diverse places on earth. Boasting over 700 species of trees, 365+ species of birds (with several endemic species), 117 species of reptiles, and almost 10,000 species of insects, the peninsula is home to 100,000-acre Corcovado National Park, known as the crown jewel of the Costa Rican national parks system. Bosque del Cabo Rainforest Lodge offers a rare opportunity to comfortably vacation among all this rugged natural splendor. At the end of our mile long driveway, you’re transported to a private Eden joining the raw nature of the rainforest to the tranquil beauty of manicured grounds and breathtaking views. The nature lodge’s lush gardens, full of tropical fruits and flowers, attract many of the colorful resident wildlife species. Residents of the area include flocks of macaws, toucans, and parrots. Monkeys, coatis, kinkajous, agoutis, and sloths are daily visitors. Peccaries are often seen, and from time to time even jungle cats (like pumas, jaguarundis, ocelots and jaguars) are spotted on the property.
4x4 Car is highly recommended, but if you like we can arrange ground transportation to and from and you can hike around Cabo Matapalo, many of our guest do and so much to see and do on foot.
With 3 meals a day per person and plenty of adventures to book, food and tours will be a separate cost.
Parties, have to be arranged with the Manager Trevor. No use of kitchen appliances such as stove, grill, and oven are allowed due to past damage. Being so remote, it is not possible to fix these in a timely manner. Three meals a day are provided with a separate charge.

I'm an oceanfront restaurant owner living in Cocoa Beach, Florida. I love to fish and surf, so the property in the Matapalo area of Costa Rica made a lot of sense for me and my family.
I also have a luxury property in the Florida Keys that is available through VRBO. It is located in Key Colony Beach in Marathon Florida. The property can be viewed here https://www.vrbo.com/392357. Thank you for considering Tres Palmas Costa Rica as your vacation destination.

Why they chose this property
Unlike many other properties available in the Osa Peninsula, Tres Palmas is a home that sleeps 4 - 16 people comfortably . When you rent Tres Palmas Costa Rica, it is exclusive for your family or group. Tres Palmas Costa Rica gives you the resort style feeling but the privacy of your own home.
Tres Palmas Costa Rica is a private and secluded resort-style escape located on 25 acres of prime jungle rain-forest. We border one of the largest National Parks in Central America, Corcovado. National Geographic, referred to Osa as one of the most Bio-intense places on earth.
Tres Palmas offers views of the Pacific Ocean and the Golfo Dulce. Panama is in the distance to the south and east, world famous surf spot Pavones to the east and Playa Zancudo to the north.
At the end of your walk you will come to a road which will lead you to the three of the most exotic beaches the southern zone of Costa Rica has to offer.
Enjoy a walk to the beach down our walking path through a beautiful rain-forest jungle, where it's common to see monkeys, macaws, toucans, sloths, anteaters, coati to name a few.
Tres Palmas has four suites and a loft for your sleeping arrangements. There are two 700 square feet king suites and two 800 square foot queen suites. The two queen suites also have an attached bedroom for families. All suites have full private baths, alfresco showers and your own private veranda that overlooks the Pacific Ocean.
There is the loft in the Rancho with two queen beds and two singles beds with mosquito nets, although you need not use them. Altogether the Villa can sleep twenty guests.
With our deluxe kitchen our chef can create meals and signature plates in true Costa Rican fashion. So, when you come to Tres Palmas, leave the cooking to us. Prior to your arrival we will discuss with you the types of foods, meats, vegetables and fruits you like and will create menus around your selections or you can simply let our chef create a menu for you
