Sweet Homes Vacation Getaways welcomes you aboard the Lady Kennaway, a 2 story nautically themed home. Sleeping 6 guests in 2 bedrooms plus media room there is something to please your entire crew. Enjoy morning coffee in the sun room or spend time in the ocean front yard with with nearby beach access to 7 miles of pristine sandy beach. This home is perfect in all seasons, so no worries when it's time to batten down the hatches and snuggle in, the storm viewing is spectacular from this ocean front location.

Some say Primary Bedroom, we like to call it Captains Quarters with a Queen bed and 3/4 bath ensuite. There is also a wonderful media room with a Queen sleeper sofa, as well as one in the living room, and a 3/4 bath all on the first floor. Upstairs you will find a bedroom with a King bed that can be split into 2 Twins (with prior notice) and a loft area with a Twin futon and a 1/2 bath.
*Lady Kennaway has a free EV Charging station so that you can charge at your destination- not on the highway - making this destination a home away from home for you and your EV.

Sleeps up to 6 - 2+ Bedrooms, 1 King (Can be separated into 2 Twin beds -- with 72 hour prior notice), and 1 Queen, 2 Queen Sleepers and a Twin futon. 2.5 baths
Vehicles: Licensed for 2 (strictly enforced)
Winter: 2 night minimum; Standard & Holidays: 3-4 night minimum

Age Requirement: The primary registered guest must be at least 26 years of age. The majority of guests must be over 25, or children under adult supervision.

This home does not allow cat guests or other non-human, non-canine visitors. Dogs are welcome at this home but must be registered in advance and paid prior to arrival. This home has a 3-dog maximum occupancy! Pet Guests: One time $35+tax fee per dog. Pet fees are not included in the original reservation.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beach house! The location couldn’t be better. Just steps from the ocean with amazing views. The house itself was clean, comfortable. We especially loved the hot tub and the outdoor seating area.The hosts were very responsive and made the check-in process easy. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we left with such great memories. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway.

Very rejuvenating stay on the beach

Wonderful getaway to the ocean. Home was very comfortable and included all the necessities. Private beachfront views and sounds were spectacular. We were lucky enough to catch sight of a whale and calf while we were there. The hot tub was such a bonus. Loved the TV room off the kitchen (separate from the livingroom) with the abundance of DVDs to select from. Truly a relaxing stay and would love to go back.

Great house & location.

I loved this place. It is right on the beach. The house had all you needed stocked. It was very clean! I would have given it 5 stars but the hot tub stopped working which was important to us.

Property is what every family longs for in summer vacation

Situated in a private area that is perfect for families that are looking to spend family time away from it all. The beach is just down the steps and the home has all that anyone would need for children.

Fantastic property!

My family and I loved this place, perfect setting, right on the beach, quiet calm neighborhood, pretty much have the beautiful beach all to yourself. The house was clean and stocked with just about everything you need, even had dog dishes and a large kennel. Absolutely loved this place, will definitely be back to Lady Kennaway.

This was a nice place for two couples (and one dog!) Easy beach access and great beach walking. Plenty of space throughout except for the tight galley kitchen...a one person domain! Overall very nice.

House was great though I agree with previous reviews that the layout is a little funky. I would say minuses are that the loft area is much smaller than it appears in photo and the yard area is really uneven - so not conducive to playing (or you might turn your ankle). Quiet location and quick access to beach were pluses.

The house was just what we wanted. The streets getting to the house were unpaved dirt roads with some of the worst pot holes I've ever driven over.

Excellent Location!

Cozy little place, clean, comfortable and an incredible view! Very much enjoyed my stay here with my dog. The hot tub is wonderful with the ocean view, but it could be much nicer if they had a deck around it or a small patio. The backyard is all grass with a concrete bench at the back edge. There is no table or seating near the hot tub. It’s still very nice and I would come back again.

Absolutely Beautiful Spot!

This was a last minute rental for us and man did we get lucky! The views from the home are absolutely fantastic and it is such a comfortable place to stay! The description is accurate and the hide-a-beds are as comfy as you would expect a hide a bed to be. The other beds were comfy. There is a bit of delayed maintenance that we made the management aware of (leaks, slow draining and a stove burner that didn’t work) and they were very receptive. We had a blast playing fusbol and shuffle board and took advantage of the DVD’s as well . The main attraction is the proximity to the beach ! The town is just 3 miles away and is quite cute ! It was very comfortable for 6 adults. I think 8 people would be pushing it . I’d return here in a heartbeat with 6 people though !

Beautiful view

When I first walked in, I thought it was great. It was warm and lit up with soothing music playing. After staying there, I noticed a lot of dingy things such as broken mini blinds that were eaten away by salty air. Also, it wasn't very clean (dusty). Wiring was questionable. Freezing cold in the morning and couldn't adjust heat in all rooms. It was a great location for direct beach access, but the hot tub is not private. A little awkward sitting there with neighbors watching. Seemed a little pricy for the quality of the home.

Awesome experience

We had very high hopes for our time at Lady Kennaway and it honestly exceeded our expectations in every way. Phenomenal location, super charming house with exceptional views and beach access. Staff were very timely in responding to questions we had. My four kids absolutely did not want to leave!

A one bedroom property cannot accommodate 8 people, nor are there enough parking spots to accommodate two vehicles Grill didn’t work and sweet homes property management did not respond to voicemails Hot tub would not heat up past 90 degrees. Not working as advertised Terrible experience overall

Don't overpay for this house!

We must have caught this property on some sort of special weekend (not a holiday) bc all-in we ended up paying nine-thirty-two a night with taxes and cleaning. We felt the place was adequate and had a kitsch charm but for nine-thirty-two a night it was a complete and utter rip off. We had hoped at the time of booking it was worth it, but when we saw the place in real life we knew we had been ripped off. The home is smaller and older and someone with a design eye has definitely added some charm, but its not a luxury home by any means. It's very basic. Checkin was at 5pm and check out is at 10 am (new COVID rules) so that made it feel even MORE of a rip off. Eighteen sixty five for just a day, really! Also - PLEASE NOTE, check in is at 5pm, which is also the time management leaves the office. I had called in and someone called my back and said "you're lucky I checked my phone" - I would not count on any on-demand customer service while you're there. Also HOT TUB IS NOT INCLUDED with all reservations. It's locked up unless you pay, luckily it was included in our reservation. In summary, the house is FINE but don't get ripped off like we did.
