Recently purchased, this home underwent complete renovation in the spring and summer of 2016. Fresh paint on all the ceilings, walls, new flooring throughout the entire home, and all new furniture, mattresses, box springs, etc. New for 2020 will be a new deck and screened-in porch.

This home is perfect for every season. Enjoy walks, biking, kayaking, or just lounging. Just minutes to Indian Mound golf course. The house sits on a large, 1 acre flat lot that is all grass. Full sun on the deck and the beach with large trees that shade the patio and half of the yard to accommodate everyone.

Cool off in the crystal clear water met by a sandy beach with shallow entry that’s great for your little ones. On the side of the home, an outdoor shower, and in the rear, a large deck and patio that overlook the lake and mountains. Gas grill and patio furniture with seating for 10 make for a perfect outdoor evening. And after dinner, move from the deck to the fire pit and pull up the Adirondack chairs to warm up and roast some s’mores. Close to North Conway (voted #2 ski town in America) for skiing, shopping, and dining. We hope you enjoy!

Impressive cottage on Levitt Bay. Large, level yard to water. Plenty of room for our party of 10. Hosts were very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Lots of space!

This house had plenty of room for our family to spread out. It is listed as a 3 bedroom with 2 bonus rooms, but it has 5 full bedrooms. The yard is fabulous with plenty of space to have multiple games going on at once. It was a perfect location for the kids to swim and for our family to gather. Would definitely recommend it!

Summer Vacation 2019

We had a great time relaxing at the lake this year! This house was just perfect for our two families and 3 kids and 1 infant. Plenty of room for sleeping, relaxing, and eating. The beach area was perfect for the young kids and they loved how far out they could go because of how shallow it stayed. It was a VERY hot week so it was a little rough without air conditioning at night for sleeping, but during the day we cooled off in the lake. We cant wait for next summer!

Enjoyable family vacation

My Dad, my 2 siblings & our families spent the week and enjoyed every minute of it at this wonderful home. It had all the amenities we needed: plenty of comfortable seating on the deck with a beautiful view of the lake; Nice Beach access as well as a dock; Clean, shallow water for relaxing; Flat, grassy yard perfect for annual cornhole tournament; fire pit with chairs; plenty of bedrooms and the outdoor shower was a huge hit. Very nicely designed and maintained. There were kayaks, life-jackets, tubes, horseshoes and volleyball all available for our use in the shed. We will def come back.

Perfect for families with kids

Fantastic summer getaway with 4 adult kids, 4 grandchildren (ages 4, almost 3, 18 months and 2 months) and 2 grandparents! The open floor plan is great to see where the little ones are at all times and plenty of room for all of us. And the beach...couldn't have been more perfect; private with shallow warm water for the kids to play in and also a great place to put a chair for the adults! The sand was soft, our 18 month old granddaughter loved it. The kayaks and floats were an added bonus and the deck and screen porch so nice. Jeff and Elyse were lovely folks to deal with and so quick to get back to us. Can't go wrong with this place, perfect for large families...can't wait to go back next year!!

Great time in ossipee.

We had a great time. There was a Sandy beach that the kids could play and could walk out 50 yards and not be over their heads. House had plenty of room. What a great family lake. We took the boat out to the sand bar and anchored with all the other boats and hung out all day. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Perfect Lakehouse

I have stayed at 3 different lakehouses on Lake Ossipee in the last 5 years and this one is the best!!! Perfect location, beautiful and clean house with everything you need. There were 4 adults and my 2 grandchildren and plenty of room. The beach is great - the water is shallow for quite a ways and perfect for little kids. The fishing was great too - my grandson caught a 3 lb. bass. I will definitely rent this lakehouse again.

Relax at the lake

We had a wonderful week at the lake house. We especially enjoyed being right on the lake and having access to kayaks. We ate on the deck every chance we got and there were virtually no bugs - no mosquitos in particular! The outdoor shower is the bomb! The view of the lake is great and hanging out around the fire pit was fun! We cooked every meal at the house because of Covid. The kitchen is small but serviceable. Pros: space and yard being right on the lake very quiet and private beautiful mountains nearby for hiking quiet lake for kayaking chairs for sitting outside in the yard with a view of the lake nearby grocery store and convenience stores condiments some spices provided plenty of dishware and cookware It would have been nice to have: more tupperware (for leftovers) aluminum foil, saran wrap, ziploc bags dishwasher soap and hand dishwashing soap (learned from owner this is not usually supplied) Other: We brought our own linens. Since we drove to the house, this was not a problem. If flying in, this would have been tough. I imagine most people who rent this house are local and drive to the house. Thank you for sharing your lake house with us.

Great vacation

We had a great week at the house. There was plenty of kayaks for our use. We had a group of 8 and never felt crowded in the house, plenty of space. The location is close to the stores and other activities. We went go-karting and hiking.

Plenty of space, great location for kids!

We had a great week at Jeff’s place. We were there as a a family with four kids under age 9, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house could comfortably sleep 10 or more. The yard is great for games, campfires, and running around. The beach is perfect for small kids - the water is warm and shallow. It is still waist-deep even 100 feet into the lake. There are plenty of kayaks and rafts at the house if you want to explore, and it’s an easy paddle to deeper swimming spots for any adult that is looking to dunk their head a bit. This part of the Bay is very quiet without much boat traffic. Most days we were out kayaking in the morning with the kids and we were the only ones on the lake. Great spot for a restful vacation!

Summer on Lake Ossipee 2019

This rental property was the perfect spot for our family vacation. A private location in the bay with a beautiful yard and view of the lake and sunsets! A gorgeous fire-pit for gathering with family and friends. Jeffrey’s home has everything a vacationer could need.. kayaks, floats, a dock, a beach area, a brand new back deck .. a propane grill included. We completely enjoyed the stunning view from the master bedroom each morning, The lake themed home decor was very lovely and the home was very well stocked with everything one would need in the kitchen for preparing meals. There were books and games for guest use and several fans for circulating the air in the evenings, Jeffrey was very good with communicating throughout the booking process right up through our check in. Would be good for a large group

This house is nice, it would be Great for a large group. We were a group of 2 older couples looking for a home base, just a place to relax a little & sleep. It states in the description that you need to provide your own sheets, towels etc.. which we missed, we were 1500 miles from home when we found this out...Sooo it cost us a little more than we expected. Other than that mixup on our part, the house was nice. Each morning we could walk down to the waters edge with our coffee, what a way to start the day! One morning a pair of ducks followed us back to the deck, they really liked apple donuts!! The house has plenty of board games & the owner has kayaks for use during the summer. There are lots of board games you can use. Plenty of beds for a family gathering. Jeff was a great help,with everything. We had trouble getting the app to open the door, luckily he could do it for us hundreds of miles away!! One night a neighbor had a party & set off fireworks, we could see them through the trees, then later did a scary haunted forrest thing, could hear a chainsaw & kids screaming with delight or terror, either way we could tell they were having a great time! We underused the house, but I can see with kids in the summer it would be great fun, without having to leave the propriety.

Stayed here with 2 families and 1 grandparent and it was absolutely perfect. Plenty of room for everyone. The lake is great, nice clear water and a great fire pit. Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous location & great house for a large family!

This location was perfect for us! The house was great! Plenty of bedrooms and two full baths plus a brand new outdoor shower with hot and cold water! It was very inviting inside and out. The lot is so large, great for bag toss and other outdoor games. We spent many nights hanging out by the fire pit. The kayaks were a big hit! We used them every day. We have teenagers and the bay was just the right size to let them go out on their own with their friends. There is a nice slow walk into the water. You have to go quite a ways out before it gets deep. The water is sandy near the house. It gets a little mucky in some spots farther out so I would bring water shoes next time. The water is very clean though. This is one of the things we love about the water in the area. Leavitt Bay is one of three bays off of Lake Ossipee. It was the perfect size for us. Its general depth is 10-20 feet. The lake and all the bays have sand bottoms and many sand bars to hang out on. You can rent a pontoon boat if you want to explore. Or you can go by kayak if you are more adventurous. The area has so many things to do if you are interested. There is a small general store a five minute walk away and a great ice cream shop a ten minute drive. We spent most of our time at the house as everything we needed was there. Every morning we had coffee by the water to watch the lake "wake up." There is a lot of water activity to watch but not too much. There are lots of games and puzzles at the house, books, internet access, floaties, horseshoes...It is set up perfectly for a vacation home. The location is the best on the bay in my opinion. Oh, and the new mattresses were a total bonus! So comfortable...a real treat in a summer rental! The owner was very responsive and gracious about any questions we had. We felt right at home. We are planning to go back next year! Thank you Bartons for our wonderful summer vacation!

Great Family Vacation

We had a great week!  The house had enough space for our family of 7, which includes 5 kids plus a few family friends. There were many places to sit and relax. The yard was expansive and private. We enjoyed kicking the soccer ball around, fishing and playing tag with the kids. We had fun in the water as well. The beach was sandy and the water was really shallow quite a distance from shore, which was great for our 4 year old triplets. We got daily use of the kayaks provided which was fun for all. It was nice to cap the night off relaxing by the fire. It was a very enjoyable, fun, comfortable place to be for a week. We hope to visit again soon!

Completely stress-free, family weekend!

Didn't think it'd be that easy to find something to accommodate my wife, myself and 3 little ones until we stumbled upon this little beauty. It had everything we were looking for and more. The yard was perfect to play in the snow and while we obviously couldn't go in the lake, the view was amazing. Plus with Attitash so close, getting the kids there and back was easy. But the best part of the experience was working with the owners. Gotta give credit to their hospitality and communication. We really felt like we were staying at a friend's house not a stranger's, and had access to everything. Oh yea, and the kids loved making smores by the fire!

Prime Location for a Lakefront Getaway

Prime place to spend a weekend away with friends, family, or that special someone! There is plenty of room for everyone and it has all the amenities one needs for a modern vacation. There are impeccable views of the lake and the surrounding mountains out back, picture perfect in autumn. We kayaked on the lake, enjoyed the views from the deck sipping our morning coffee, raved over the sunset while eating dinner in their large dinning room, and awed at the crystal-clear stars by the fire pit. This was the perfect weekend getaway for me and my wife. The owner was great to deal with and extremely accommodating. This place is a steal compared to others my wife and I have stayed at and looked at in New England. We have our 2017 family trip booked here and I am trying to get the guys together for ski trip. This wonderful home will be a annual stop for our family for years to come! I highly recommend it to anyone.

Great vacation home!

My brother rented this lake home in August for a guys weekend, and it was great. It's upkeep was impeccable, it was very peaceful, and the views were gorgeous! We were in town to visit Fenway Park, and it was a comfortable drive from the lakehouse. Hey, the Red Sox even swept their weekend series! I would recommend for anyone looking to get away, relax, or have some fun out on the lake. Thanks! We'll be staying there next time we're in town.
