Four full bathrooms each have a walk in glass enclosed shower, a meticulously stocked chef's kitchen with all of the accouterments that go with such a kitchen, a dining table that truly seats the same number of guests the apartment sleeps - this is THE home away from home you want for your stay in Chicago.

Bachelor & Bachelorette groups love our space - but note that as live in owner's we're pretty particular about welcoming only the best behaved, so if your group is looking for a beautiful, comfortable space, and especially if you imagine sitting together around the dining table over a dinner or brunch together (we can even suggest local caterers) - we are THE vacation rental for you!
**If you're a group that's coming ONLY to bar hop and party all night - we might not be the space for you.... (we're a family friendly building and aren't keen on lots of drunken guests stumbling in at 3 AM ;-( **

We had a wonderful long weekend in Chicago at the Magic Factory Lofts! We were we welcomed and shown everything we would need at the Loft and in the surrounding area. Our hosts were extremely responsive and the accommodations were comfortable and clean! We loved not having to strip the beds. :)

A wonderful weekend getaway with friends!

My friends and I were here for a bachelor party. All the previous reviews are on point, this place is awesome. Great amount of space, plenty of room to sleep 10+ people, conveniently located, secure building - it was exactly what we needed. The team operating the rental is very responsive as well. Great reunion stay

A group of 9 HS buddies converged in Chicago from all over the country, explored Chicago from this base camp! Perfect, everybody had their own bed with a wonderful great room to gather both morning and night while planning the days activities! Central location to walk to many places was key. Great hosts!

Magic is appropriate name for this place.

Hosts were extremely accommodating, went above and and beyond to meet our requests. We were allowed to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out. Property was spotless and the location was great for exploring Chicago. Rare combination of providing plenty of space for the entire family to spend time together and providing private bedrooms and bathrooms. We loved our stay.

Marathon weekend

This property was perfect for our stay. Two families (9 adults & 2 children) with room to spare. Walking distance to neighborhood shopping, restaurants and the market. Proximity to train station or a quick Uber made getting downtown easy. Carole was a great communicator from booking, providing a local guide book, suggestions on where to eat and walking me through the check-in process. Everyone in out group had an all around great experience with our stay.

Perfect home base to explore the city

A couple of things made this the ideal place for our group of 11. The apartment itself was very clean and easy to access. Close to a good coffee shop and Whole Foods, among other places. Bus stops and train stations were close. We shared rooms, but no one had to share a bed. Plus the apartment has a good view of the skyline! I would definitely book again!

For those who choose our Magic Factory Lofts by Chicago Vacation Rentals, you are staying in an intentional holiday home. You won't find anyone's clothes in the drawers but you will find lots of things provided with travelers in mind (some of which are secrets we choose not to share here since that's what makes us special :-)

Our funky warehouse & former tavern turned costume factory turned fabulous Lincoln Park home can be your home away from home in Chicago.

Located in Chicago's hottest neighborhood at the crossroads of Lincoln Park - Old Town & River North - we are just two blocks south of Chicago’s “little Michigan Avenue” and on the Halsted Street busline, the North Avenue & Division street buses as well as the North/Clybourn Red Line and the Sedgwick Brown Line.

We're just north of hot Fulton Market & Randolph Street, just south of DePaul, Boystown & Wrigleyville, just east of Wicker Park and straddling Lincoln Park and Old Town.

In short, there is nowhere you can't get to in pretty much a straight shot.

What makes this property unique

This is a private rental. You aren't sharing the space with anyone else. You won't find our clothes in the drawers. If you're looking for a spacious Chicago accommodation with NO stairs or steps, you've found the right place! Our Magic Factory Lofts are each on one level, with access via elevator.

We are always there for you!! Communication prior to arrival and though check-out will be via a private WhApp chat group that we setup for your group. For larger non-family groups, we request everyone be added to it - this avoids issues with arrival, check-in and offers you immediate responses from our team during your stay. This ensures a great stay!
