Was a lovely condo, very clean, easily found and centralized so an easy walk to destinations around town. Directly across from the homeless shelter, but no one bothered us or our vehicle. Many very nice, high end touches in the condo. Well equipped. Lovely stay.
Well appointed unit as described. Check in was easy. The downside is that it's situated in between multiple homeless shelters/resources. Lots of folks sleeping nearby on the sidewalk and talking through the night.
Wish there could be a slight disclaimer somewhere that just mentions the unit is located across to the street from a homes less shelter and you’re walking over people on the sidewalks. They were fine and harmless and not loud- but just good to know- especially with customers with kids

Nice place . The good out weighs the inconveniences
Great location, less than 10 minute walk to downtown. Parking was very tight for mid-size SUV. Two spots are side by side, couldn’t park next to a car in those spots as it was too tight to open the car door. Property was beautiful and well supplied with anything you may need, both beds were very comfortable. You can hear the neighbors walk/talk.
Really cute apartment for our quick stay. I was uncomfortable with the unhoused assistance center across the street and the number of people on the street there at first. However, once reviewing their mission I was totally inspired at the acts of service and kindness I witnessed. I was reminded that sometimes when you are uncomfortable you grow the most. I would recommend staying in pairs at night just to be sure as you would anywhere. We were lucky to be the only one there the 1st night but it can be loud with others above so be sure to cut on your white noise. It was so nice to have a parking space.

Thank you for such a thoughtful and honest review—we really appreciate you sharing your full experience.
We’re glad you found the apartment cute and enjoyed having a dedicated parking space—that’s definitely a big perk in the area. We also appreciate your perspective on the neighborhood. Downtown is a vibrant and active part of the city, and we’re grateful to be near organizations doing meaningful work in the community.
Thank you as well for mentioning the potential for noise—being in a central location can sometimes come with that, and we always recommend white noise for a more restful stay.
We truly appreciate your recommendation and would love to host you again anytime!
Host very welcoming, we stayed 2 nights and had everything we needed. Easy to walk to downtown Asheville.

Our trip was a quick friends get away. We both thought the place was adorable and beds very comfortable. We walked everywhere and never felt unsafe. Downtown was just around the corner. Lots of shopping and great restaurants nearby. I was extremely impressed with the fully stocked kitchen. Very clean. Easy check in & out. Great communication. Will definitely stay again when in Asheville.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that you and your friend enjoyed your getaway and found the space comfortable, clean, and well-stocked. It’s great to know the location worked perfectly for exploring downtown and that check-in and communication were smooth. We’d be delighted to host you again on your next trip to Asheville!
Safe travels until then!
The apartment itself was very nice and clean. The proximity to restaurants and bars was very walkable. The homeless lingering around was not great. Seems like they're only open across the street on weekdays, so it may be much better on the weekends. But even when the homeless center across the street was closed, people would still be hanging on the sidewalks and on the stoop leading up to the apartment building.

Thank you for making us part of your wonderful weekend getaway. We are glad that we were able to make it comfortable and relaxing for you. Thanks for being our guest!
The property was good. An easy 10 minute walk to downtown. The parking is a little tight, and the homeless shelter is located directly accross the street, but overall this was a wonderful location for our trip. The host was fantastic
Really clean and well appointed space. Beds and furniture seemed new. We were there for one night with two dogs and we appreciate that we could find a dog-friendly property downtown. It was a bit tricky finding a safe place to walk them and that was the only drawback. We had no issues with any of the unhoused people in the area or any of the agencies that serve them.
We enjoyed our stay. The property is very clean and well decorated. Walking distance from Downtown Asheville.

About the host
Hosted by Sarah, reservationist
The owner, Jeremy Goldstein has made 32 North Ann Street a project since he purchased the property in 2002, slowly making improvements, while running his business in the building directly next door. Over the past 20 years, Jeremy has built a successful multi-disciplinary real estate practice. Jeremy graduated cum laude from Duke University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy Studies. He held salesperson licenses in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia and currently maintains broker licenses in North Carolina and South Carolina. Mr. Goldstein advises private and institutional investors nationwide in the acquisition, disposition, and financing of commercial property. He married an Asheville native, and together they moved to Asheville to raise their four sons. He spends his “free” time traveling with his family to their sons’ sporting events. Eventually, he hopes to get back to hiking and biking in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. But for now he manages to get to Crossfit — unfortunately well before the sun comes up, in addition to serving as Chairman of Asheville Planning & Zoning Commission and board member to Irene Wortham Center.
Why they chose this property
Like any such investment, careful thought and attention to detail are important. The properties location next door to Mr. Goldstein's offices, made the undertaking manageable, and a worthwhile investment.
What makes this property unique
In addition to the superb location, the Apartment has been completely renovated with brand new appliances and furnishings. The beautiful artwork is of the surrounding mountains and local graffiti art. Travelers will have the benefit of knowing the owner is in the building next door, as well as assistance from his friendly reservationist, Sarah, who has an intimate knowledge of downtown Asheville and will work to provide guests with an easy booking process and most importantly, recommendations for a memorable Asheville experience.
