About this property

Beautiful lake home that sleeps 18 people with a private dock and view!

Enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Spokane from my one acre property which has a private dock for swimming and fishing. I have central air conditioning in my home. My home comes with 5 private queen bedrooms, 2 futons, 2 blowup mattresses and sleeping pads. The large master bedroom and en-suite overlook the lake on the second floor. Another bedroom is also upstairs with a bathroom right across the hall. There is one bedroom, "The Sportsman's Cabin", on the main floor for those who do not want to do stairs. A full bath is situated around the corner as well as an available laundry room for your use. The other 2 private bedrooms are in the daylight basement. "Child's Paradise", the Toy Room in the basement, is equipped with lots of toys and dress up clothes for babies and children of all ages. There are two futons in this room and sleeping pads for extra little ones. A VHS & DVD player with loads of Disney tapes are ready for the kiddos. In the main floor family room, there is a HD TV with an X-Box and X-Box 360 and plenty of games. The TVs have a Fire Stick & Roku connection for those of you who have an account with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. Also available for your use are my golf cart, 3 man canoe, kayak, bikes, and lots of baby and child toys. Bring your own boat and put it in the lake at Willow Bay (1 1/2 miles north on Highway 291 for a $17 fee). The kitchen is set-up for family reunions with a large dining room table and outdoor deck with table and chairs and gas BBQ. Free WiFi and a desk top computer with printer is available for your use in the Master Suite. Master bedroom and upstairs bedroom also have HD DirectTV and plenty of DVDs to watch. If you have a small baby, I have a Pack n' Play, portable high chairs, walker, and a booster seat. The nightly price reflects 8 people and an additional amount will be charged for each guest over 8 people. Also, there is a cleaning fee that is added.

Relaxing Getaway

We had 4 generations of family on this trip and the home was perfect for our group. There was something for everyone and we all had a great time. It was far enough out of town to be away from lots of neighbors but close enough to be able to run in for shopping, etc. Lila was super friendly and checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly and that we didn’t need anything.

This is our 4th or 5th time at this property. Every summer we look forward to our family get-together. It is made possible because of the thoughtful set-up that the owner has added to her home. It feels so like a "real home" and not some sterile hotel room. Our family is now from 6 yrs. to 75 yrs old and we all have a place to relax, converse, watch the kids play and even get in on the action. The town of Nine Mile Falls has some excellent amenities. The use of the owner's pier at the river is where we spend alot of our time. We feel very blessed to have found Nine Mile Falls 5 years ago!

So many good things to say about this home. It's like you walked into your own home--every cabinet is filled with all the items you could ever want/need. This is a spacious, beautifully maintained home. Owner was very quick to respond to all inquiries. Not right on the lake but the short drive down a gravel road was easy (kids loved the golf cart though you can use your own car) At the lake you were greeted with a private dock with trees to provide shade and warm lake, perfect for swimming, boarding etc....

The house was perfect for our family reunion, plenty of space for our large group and the house has anything you may have forgotten to pack provided. The dock access was great for our older members however not suitable for young kiddos unless they are strong and comfortable swimmers.

Our family, especially the little ones, love this family home. The old grumpy cook, loves the kitchen and all the things to feed the family. We enjoy the swimming area and spend hours there. Thanks for the dock rest room. Had great fun on the canoe and used all the toys in the garage and kids room. The three, six and eight year olds love the basement. So thank you. Best place for family reunion

All of my family said this was our best place yet. They all had a great time, especially out at the lake. There was room in the house to go off by yourself if needed and room to have our family games and meals. I would recommend this place to anyone have a large get-together. Just notice...if you are limited to a wheel chair or scooter, there are stairs going down to the dock and then the ladder to get in and our of the water. It was my only disappointment.

2022 Washington Family Reunion

This was the perfect place for our family. We wanted for nothing, all we had to provide were the perishables. Loved the golf cart to help getting to the dock. Board games were fabulous. We had everything possible to keep the children entertained. As for the adults, two words….the deck, the view. Wait that’s four words! Couldn’t ask for a better host. Perfect Multi-Generational Family Gathering Home

This was a great family friendly, toddler and baby friendly home with a great kitchen stocked with cooking gear and supplies, great separation between nice basement rooms suitable for mixed cousins and upstairs rooms for the parents, and lots of space for cooking, eating, talking and playing games. Not fancy, but everything in the home is nice, thoughtfully arranged, and homey. We would certainly stay here again. Thanks for a great stay!

The home was very clean and very well stocked! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving there! It is a nice home with a great view out the back in a nice neighborhood. My only complaint is that it would not sleep 20 people comfortably. There are 5 beds and 2 futons. After that it is sleeping mats on the floor.

I am retired from the school district and was widowed 15 years ago. I have two children who are married and each has 3 children. My grandchildren live in Missoula, MT and Tucson, AZ; and therefore, I travel a lot and have decided to put my house on VRBO. I also wanted to share my home with other families so that they can make memories at a lake place.

Why they chose this property

My late husband and I built this house because we wanted to be at the lake and not live in the city. The house is on one acre and has 47 feet of Lake Spokane frontage with a private dock. Our children were in high school when we built the house, and they drove into Spokane every day to attend Northwest Christian Schools.

What makes this property unique

You will thoroughly enjoy the beautiful view from the upper master bedroom or the kitchen or family room. Also, you will probably see eagles, turkeys, deer, and other wild life. You will hear no traffic noise and enjoy the peaceful and quiet lake setting. Also, you will enjoy a large covered deck with a BBQ and a beautiful view of the lake.
