Pacific Beach Cottage w/ backyard & parking

Welcome to our family's newly renovated beach cottage in North Pacific Beach! Our one bedroom cottage is right on the border of Pacific Beach and La Jolla so you will be in close proximity to both the night life in Pacific Beach and the laid back surfer style of Bird Rock. It's located 2 blocks from Tourmaline Beach and within walking distance of Law Street, the boardwalk and Mission Beaches. You really can't ask for a better location no matter what it is that your looking to do in the San Diego Beach area!

Our Beach cottage has one bedroom and is equipped with a king size bed and pull out twin bed for an extra guest. Please be aware that it sleeps 3 adults in beds, however we do allow 4 guests at one time for families with children. We can provide a blow up mattress and/or crib upon request, free of charge. Our cottage is perfect for a smaller family, romantic getaway or even parents visiting kids in one of the nearby colleges. It has a fully equipped kitchen, small dining area, separate living room, off-street/gated parking and a secluded backyard retreat. Why stay in a hotel when you can have your own private space as your home away from home?

The location of this place is excellent, two blocks from the beach and within walking distance of coffee joints, restaurants, a convenience store and other amenities. The neighborhood is tranquil and quiet and I slept soundly and comfortably in the spacious bed. Loved the off street parking space. Lovely outdoor patio felt private. Would stay here again.

Comfortable accommodations with great location

The rental was clean and comfortable, close to beach, shops and restaurants. We parked our car at the start of our stay and didn't drive again until we left. The private parking area is an extra bonus. There is also a great backyard area for eating and just hanging out.

Great spot!

Every thing you need for a great stay. Restaurants, bars, grocery stores are all within walking distance. Pacific Beach is an easy walk as well. Highly recommended.

We loved staying at the PB Cottage. It’s a standalone unit with secure parking and a nice back patio space. The inside is perfect for a couple has everything you need for a long or short term stay. Easy walking access to the beach and lots of coffee and eating spots within a 5-10 min walk. Would highly recommend staying at Stephany’s place!

Comfortable Cottage, Great Location

We enjoyed our one week stay at the cottage. It was as pictured, clean and comfortable. The location was excellent - a short walk to the beach and numerous restaurants. Having a dedicated parking spot was a big plus as street parking is at a premium in the area. Stephany was great to deal with - we had a couple of issues over the weekend and she responded right away.

Fantastic Beach Neighborhood

Wonderful hosts! Stephany was a great communicator and very accommodating. The rental was clean and comfortable with a nice outdoor patio for morning coffee and dinner in the evening. Great location. The French Gourment bakery & restaurant down the street was amazing. Beach 10min walk. Quiet and safe to walk around the neighborhood. The house parking was tight but worked and it's extremely important as finding a parking spot can be adventurous (seems to be San Diego parking culture).The house had everything we needed for home cooked meals and the backyard was relaxing and well kept up. Inside was comfy, clean and well kept up.

Relaxing Retreat from the Heat

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Great location just a block or so from ocean. As seniors, we didn’t come and go much but spent time enjoying the cool refreshing weather - a reprieve from the Arizona heat. Home is cozy and comfortable for two. Super great large private patio. Enclosed parking was a big plus. Stephany took immediate care of any issues we had. Would love to come again.

Cute Cottage

We had a very comfortable stay at this cottage tucked behind a house close to the beach. Our car was safely stashed behind the gate in front of the cottage and we felt safe and snug! The cottage is comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed. We ate out nearly all meals so we did not use the kitchen much but it had what we needed. The patio off the sliding glass doors was beautiful!!! I highly recommend this stay!

Why they chose this property

We originally purchased this property because of its incredible location but also because of the unique, separate and secluded back house. The back house was intended to be used as home for my Grandmother, with my siblings and I living in the front house, but as her health deteriorated she was never actually able to stay in the home. Both my brother & I have lived on this property with various friends and loved ones throughout the years.

What makes this property unique

Location and seclusion are the highlights to this house. There is something incredibly comfortable and unique about the private access and backyard of this cozy cottage. Although the surrounding homes are close, you still get a feeling that you have your own private area to enjoy as you like. You can open up the doors to the house and feel the ocean breeze or sit in your backyard patio while enjoying a cup of coffee and listening to the waves. It's truly a one of a kind personal retreat!
