These guys were amazing, they left the house beyond clean. I wasn't sure anyone had been there it was so good. Thanks you guys, I'm just delighted that you had a ball. What more could I ask.
Lovely home in Stranmillis, close to the river and an easy walk into Belfast City Centre. Highly recommend for families!

I felt blessed to have Catherine staying in my house. Yes, I made a friend and we had lots of the"The Craic" which is very important to us Irish people. Certainly a prerequisite to a good holiday. LOL
Good, quiet location in Belfast suburban area. Bedrooms,, bath, kitchen and living room very comfortable and well equipped. The owner Pat was always concerned about our well being.
Easy taxi service to everywhere we needed to go.
Pleasant stay indeed

The photos give an excellent representation of the property. Clean and bright. Host was friendly and attentive. Bus to town around the corner. Parking was easy when I had a car. About a 10min walk to groceries along the Lagan. I would rent here again.

Super guests, they left the house in a great condition. I would have them back in a heart beat. It was a pleasure having them stay.
This is an excellent house, conveniently situated in a quiet part of the city. Very well equipped, with a lovely peaceful garden to sit out in. Pat is a super host, and looked after us well at check in with great suggestions for shopping etc. There are good walks and cycle ways nearby by the river - we enjoyed the Lagan Meadows and the Botanic Gardens - and it was easy to get into the city and also out into the rest of Northern Ireland. A very enjoyable week and we will be back. Thankyou!

Thank-you for leaving the house in great shape. It was a pleasure to host you both. I think you may be in the pantheon of my top guests. I'm delighted that you enjoyed the golf and I hope that if you come this way again that you will choose me. It is so important to people here in the Provence that visitors see just how lovely our wee country is. We are known for the troubles, but we are so much more than that. I hope you had the "craic"
The house is immaculately clean and well cared for. It looks just like the pictures. The downstairs has heated floors which make it very cozy at all times. The upstairs can be cold on chilly days unless you turn on the heat which we did not. The bus route is close by and you can be in the city center in under 30 minutes. TESCO and Dunne’s are both fairly close but a car would be best if you have heavy groceries.

I wished that you had turned the heat on upstairs, it was there for you to do that and those rooms are toasty when the radiators are on. I just hope that you were happy with everything then it's a job well done.
About the host
Hosted by Pat Spice
I came back to Belfast to look after my mother and when she died I decided to renovate the house and in 2011 I opened it as a holiday home. I feel that as I worked in hospitality for the American Forces that I was well versed in giving good service.
Why they chose this property
The house was first rented in 1937 and I was born and raised in the area I had an idyllic childhood (free as a bird) My father came looking for me and found me riding a pony bareback through the meadows. This poor animal was grazing as did an entire heard of cows because it was common land I was about 9 years and pretending to be in the wild west. My father was not a well man as I was an only child. I also rode my bicycle into the river Lagan. Those were halcyon days no mobile phones.
What makes this property unique
The house is in a great area of the city, quiet and secure ,enabling guests to unwind and relax. There is a mature secluded garden and it is close to all the amenities The best of both worlds
