Terrace garden with patio area, garden furniture and barbecue. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: The garden has steep slopes.. This spacious detached end-of-road holiday property provides breathtaking views across the mile-long southwest facing golden sands of Praa Sands and out to Mount Bay. The large flat patio area is ideal for relaxing after an enjoyable day. Up a steep slope, the smaller upper patio has further breathtaking views.

Access to the beautiful sandy beach with surf school and summer lifeguard patrol, and the scenic coastal pathway is down a small path a few yards away. This is truly a wonderful location for a great family holiday whatever the time of year. From this central location, a short drive will take you to the golf course, sailing at Newlyn and restaurants in Porthleven. Cornwall’s oldest charter town of Marazion overlooks the 12th century St Michael’s Mount (NT) accessed by a romantic causeway walk at low tide.

Travelling further south one will enter another world, the beautiful Lizard Peninsula. Almost untouched, it is flush with rare wildflowers, unspoilt fishing villages and sheltered beaches. It is home to the massive serpentine stacks of Kynance Cove caves at low tide and the secret location of the real Frenchman’s Creek.

The Lizard village offers craft shops, art galleries, cafes and inns clustered around the village green. A walk to the lighthouse, lifeboat station and mainland Britain’s most southerly point is a must. Also close by is the ancient coinage town of Helston famous for its Furry Dance held in May each year. Shops and pub ¼ mile.

Absolutely gorgeous.

Absolutely gorgeous. Location perfect for a tranquil break. Off the grid with nothing but the sound of waves to disturb you. Spotlessly clean and all prepared for our stay. Had a really relaxing break and will definitely be back. My only minor negative was the garden was very overgrown but didn’t stop us totally loving being in it. Really good communication when we had some questions. Want to keep it a secret really but totally deserves an excellent review.  Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Suncroft has a great floorplan with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, a kitchen/laundry equipped with modern appliances, a nice fireplace, and great ocean views. Unfortunately most of the furniture and some of the beds are long past when they should’ve been replaced. Most pieces have furniture coverings to conceal the condition of the upholstery. People with dog allergies should avoid this cottage. The furniture in the enclosed sunroom had dog hair and sand under the removable cushions. The vacuum cleaner also put out a smell of dogs and we assume dog dander. On the positive side, the local caretaker was wonderfully responsive when we would need questions answered or something fixed.

Went week 31st May 2019.

Went week 31st May 2019. Had flowers and biscuits waiting. Lovely home, with plenty of kitchen equipment. Lovely position and views spectacular. Beach great and local shops good. Distance to access the beach about 10 to 15 minute walk. New matteres on all the beds. New barbeque. Nice and peaceful and can hear the sea. I would recommend this place because of the location and the low cost to stay there. Excellent
