Our experience staying in this property was fantastic. The lodge was in a fantastic location and it had everything we needed in it. We would definitely be coming back. The only downside was that I didn't get an email about how to get the key, so it was a long process ringing around

Great cabin, quiet and relaxing with an easy walk into Keswick. Well equipped and very comfortable especially the bed. I’d definitely consider returning. My only slight criticism is the cabin location means you don’t really get much sunshine.

As good as we would have hoped.
As good as we would have hoped. Location on other side of main road from Keswick but little noise and easy walk and once you find the short cuts 15 minutes into town. We brought some toilet rolls which paid off as none there, but really those the only essentials we recommend taking. Very pleased with the accommodation, had a great week which was helped considerably by the best weather The Lakes are likely to have this year.

We had a super holiday staying at Ashness and we carried on from previous occasions when we stayed at Burnside. The location from a hill walkers perspective is wonderful and we would not hesitate to return to Burnside or Ashness Lodge. No complaints!

We love Ashness, so much we have already booked again for next year. It is just lovely! The lodge is well cared for and well equipped. It is near the A66 and just a walk into the town of Keswick, but is it lovely and quiet and not spoilt by road noise.

Ashness is a beautiful lodge in a perfect location.
Ashness is a beautiful lodge in a perfect location. The lodge is very quiet and clean and was a very relaxing place to spend a week. The outdoor furniture was well used by us for relaxing on the veranda. The living room and bed were both very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. The location was ideal for our needs - only a 15 minute walk into Keswick and situated right by the A66 for easy travel to a wide range of other places. Fitz Park is only 10 minutes' walk away. We will certainly book to stay here again in the future.

Ashness is set in a lovely quiet location but within easy walking distance of Keswick amenities, local walks and places to eat. The only improvement we would suggest if wi fi accessibility at the cottage, otherwise everything you need is at Ashness! Although weather was not brilliant we did lots of walking including Scafell and walk around Derwentwater, visited the Lakes Distillery- worth a visit especially if you can get a discount voucher via travelzoo. Lovely week inLake District

We felt spoiled during our stay in Ashness Lodge.
We felt spoiled during our stay in Ashness Lodge. A very cosy house, all the luxury you want. The park is very quiet and close to Skiddaw Mountain. We came with public transport. It's 20 min walk to the closest supermarket and Keswicks towncenter. The only downside is that the way to town is not so walkers-friendly. There is a roundabout and a busy road closeby. Although you can't hear this road well at the lodge. We would recommend this lodge to friends.

this chalet is ideal for two people.
this chalet is ideal for two people. it has all that is required. we only found one minor glitch, the towel rail which did not work. I suspect it was air locked but I had no tools with me to put it right. the chalet is within easy reach of Keswick centre and the local pub( the pheasant) and its excellent meals.
