Greta Side Court Apartments have been converted from the original Pencil Mill into one and two bedroomed apartments on three floors, offering attractive accommodation on the banks of the River Greta with views over Fitz Park to Skiddaw. The ground floor apartments have a balcony great for enjoying a summers evening with the river flowing below. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

We had a lovely stay in these apartments.

We had a lovely stay in these apartments. It was in a great location and felt safe and it was quiet. The rooms were clean and had storage. It is a small flat so not somewhere you can sit in all day. The towels could do with being changed as they were quite old.

Stayed here with my Wife and teenage son for a week. Good points: Warm and cosy apartment with great views from the balcony. Comfortable beds Well equipped kitchen Private parking Bad points: Could have been cleaner, a few cobwebs on ceilings, shower had black mould around the buttons. Uncomfortable tub chairs which are not great to sit in for a while and a settee which has seen better days. Place really isn’t big enough for four adults, probably ok for a young family. Cleanliness.

Cleanliness. My wife: 1. Worked hard to clean the hob 2. Defrosted the 'fridge/freezer Still to be done: 1. Clean cooker hood filter 2. Cooker hob lights do not work But, although wet weather, no rain no lakes, we have stayed in this property several times, including Christmas, and will have no hesitation in trying to book again. Please, just ensure that the cleaners/property inspectors do their job!

The cottage is ideally situated.

The cottage is ideally situated. There was originally going to be three of us but one dropped out which was fortunate as the cottage would have been cramped with three especially when eating meals which we tended to take on our laps.

Great flat in the heart of Keswick. Quite small so a bit of a squash for a family of four but worth it for the location. Proximity to river and park is fabulous! Small issues were no dishwasher and the sofa isn’t particularly comfy but overall great!

We had a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful stay. The location by the river was superb and it was also very handy for the town.The accommodation is modern and clean and having a parking space is a must in Keswick. We will definitely be using it again if available.
