Superbly located, convenient for the beach, this four-storey former fisherman’s cottage, with its own private patio and rockery garden, is situated in the heart of picturesque Robin Hood’s Bay. The end one of a little row, it has been beautifully refurbished, with a first floor living room leading to a furnished patio.

There are excellent cliff walks from the door backed by the North York Moors National Park. Historic Whitby is only 7 miles away, or a visit to Scarborough being only 14 miles away. Beach 89 yards. Pub and restaurant 200 yards.

New year holiday

What a wonderful place to stay and what a wonderful welcome, the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, we even had a Christmas tree!! Fabulous location and very cosy home with everything you could need for a family holiday. Thank you so much we had such a wonderful time.

We really enjoyed staying at the cottage it was right next to the beach and was very comfortable. The owners had left a welcome pack which was very kind. I had left behind an old towel which they offered to post on to me. I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely cottage in a great location

A lovely cottage on 4 floors (steep narrow stairs!) close to the beach, coastal path and village amenities. Warm, comfortable, well equipped, with the added advantage of a parking space. Recommended!

Enjoyed a great stay at Robin Hoods Bay in Flagstaff Cottage. The cottage is in a fab location not far from the bottom of Robin Hoods Bay and also has parking for one smallish car - which is a huge bonus as parking is very limited. The cottage is well equipped, warm, cosy and homely. The owners provided great communications and a lovely welcome. Would highly recommend this excellent cottage and will definitely stay here again. Great location just two minutes walk to the sea.

Great location just two minutes walk to the sea. Either up the steps at the side of the house to get to the small promenade overlooking the beach and sea or a short walk down the road to get to the slipway by the Bay Hotel (very picturesque). We watched the sunrise from the the small promenade every morning we were there and it was great, Very peaceful. The house is over four floors and has lovely wood panelling. The stairs are steep and care needed to be taken. May not suit a person with walking disability. The house was clean, comfortable and had the normal facilities. Bathrooms on the third and fourth floors. There is also an outside toilet and separate laundry room which was useful. Flagstaff Cottage is one of the few houses to have car parking facilities for one car. We found this very useful. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a great holiday at flagstaff cottage perfect location for our grandchildren it was virtually on the beach , parking for even a small car was tight at the cottage but still a big bonus given how difficult it is to park at Robin hoods bay plus the hill back up to the car parks is like climbing the Matterhorn ! The owners obviously care that you have a good time and are very meticulous on the information they provide . We enjoyed our stay at Flagstaff Cottage... a lovely, well-maintained end-of-terrace residence just near the slipway; has it's own little fenced in garden which offers a unique view of surrounding cottages, we had supper there with friends one evening.
