In a magnificent rural setting, these comfortable holiday properties were winners of the Keswick Tourism Association Country Establishments in 2000, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007 and the Cumbria in Bloom Tourist Board Rose Bowl for Self-Catering Establishment winners in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Rose Cottage is attached to the owner’s farmhouse home, Rambling Rose and Rosedale are adjacent and have both been converted to a high standard, and Primrose Cottage has been converted from a former byre. The cottages are beautifully furnished and equipped to VisitBritain ‘5 Star Gold’ standard. Rosedale has been beautifully converted retaining original beams throughout. The entrance hall leads to the fitted kitchen/dining room, perfect for enjoying a holiday feast. The living room, with cosy wood burner and French doors to a small balcony, is a comfortable escape at the end of the day. The first bedroom has a gorgeous kingsize four poster bed whilst the second bedroom has a comfortable single bed. The family bathroom, with shower over bath is perfect for a relaxing soak.

Guests are welcome to walk in the fields surrounding the farm where red squirrels often visit, as well offering excellent bird watching. This 500-acre farm is set in an AONB, with walks from the door plus superb fell walking nearby. There is tennis, riding and golf, as well as good fishing locally. Keswick stands on the shores of Derwent Water and is an excellent base to explore delightful Borrowdale. In the town itself are many interesting shops, inns and restaurants, as well as a leisure pool. Just 6 miles away is Bassenthwaite Lake with a variety of water sports and the Lakeland Wildlife Park. The pretty village of Caldbeck is 4 miles, with a restaurant, tea rooms and shops. Maes Gallery and tea rooms serving food daily is within 2 miles. Uldale is 2 miles with a pub serving good food, and Ireby is 1½ miles away with a cosy pub with log fire and good food. Shop 4 miles. With 30 years’ experience, guests can be ensured a relaxing and luxurious holiday.

Rosedale can be booked together with Rose Cottage (LPD), Rambling Rose (LWG) and Primrose Cottage (LPG) to accommodate up to 13 guests.
