Delightful cottage.

Delightful cottage. Spotlessly clean, cosy and comfortable in a wonderful location. The log burner ensured our stay in December was cosy and warm. Would highly recommend this cottage if you want a relaxing break. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A wonderful holiday.

A wonderful holiday. The cottage is gorgeous and the pub next door's a delight. We walked, read, fished, drank some very nice pints of Welsh beer and had a truly relaxing and magical week. Many thanks, we'll definitely be back! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had an amazing week at Bridge Cottage! The cottage itself is cosy & well equipped, in a perfect location. Nice pub next door, lovely shop over the footbridge and lots of super walks on the doorstep - no driving required.

Fantastic cottage in great location.

Fantastic cottage in great location. The cottage is immaculate and so comfortable. Log burner is great (in fact 2 log burners) with logs in outdoor log store. Brilliant pub next door that serves lovely food and ales and the locals are so friendly. The location is amazing as its right on the river and the night skies are so clear. We had a power cut one evening but even that's not a problem. We parked over the bridge as that seemed easier than negotiating the tight lanes on the welsh side and had no problems leaving the car overnight in a pretty deserted car park. Would love to return here as its the perfect chill out place. Cant think of anything negative at all. Close to supermarket just before getting into Monmouth - 10 mins drive.

This was the second time we had been here.

This was the second time we had been here. It's in a lovely location and a good place to explore the Forest of Dean and South & Mid Wales. A car would be essential for most people. For some people the lack of internet connection may be an issue 'though wifi is available at the pub next door. For others it's great for a digital detox. Would definitely go back again.

Great location, parking on road but no problem with this.

Great location, parking on road but no problem with this. Walks from the door to Monmouth, Tintern along the river, Newlands and Redbrook over the bridge. Very good dog friendly pub next door with garden. Cottage spacious for 4. Very steep steps to decking area. Overall ideal spot and would return.

Fab spot, right by the Wye, next door to a pub, opposite a footbridge

Lovely little cottage, a little dark inside but this is obviously due to the nature of the location.

Lovely little cottage, a little dark inside but this is obviously due to the nature of the location. Everything we needed. The steep steps outside are not for the faint hearted and I wouldn’t trust myself to go up and down them many times. Really lovely spot next to the bridge. Pub food a little basic and dated but was given a warm welcome. Great for a weekend away
