Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack. Enclosed lawned garden with decking and garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Hot Tub for 4 (private £125 per week, £75 per short break, by prior arrangement with the owner).

Located close to North Devon’s spectacular coast, this single-storey cottage is ideal for a lazy weekend or a full week of exploring. Suited to couples, friends and young families, the cottage is very well appointed with two en-suite bedrooms and a light and spacious open plan living area. Located on the outskirts of the quiet village of Kentisbury, next to the owner’s home, the cottage is perfectly positioned for your stay in this stunning part of the British Isles. Nearby Combe Martin has a beach which is great for rock pooling at low tide and the village has a good range of shops and pubs.

There are numerous attractions within easy reach of the property, including the Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Watermouth Castle and the Lynton to Lynmouth cliff railway. At Croyde and Woolacombe you will find some of the best and cleanest surf beaches in the country as well as many smaller coves and bays. Exmoor is a short distance away where, on a clear day, the views can be spectacular. Highlights on Exmoor include Withypool, Tarr Stepps and Dunkery Beacon. There are National Trust properties at Arlington and Knightshayes and the RHS gardens at Rosemoor and Great Torrington as well as horse riding, fishing and golf, all available locally. Beach 3¼ miles.

Lovely 2 bedroom cottage with beautiful views across the hills.

Lovely 2 bedroom cottage with beautiful views across the hills. Situated in a quiet spot that is only a few miles from the coast. The cottage is lovely - 2 good sized ensuite bedrooms. A comfy lounge and well equipped kitchen. We'd go back again now we've found it.

We were the first customers of the new owners and they couldn’t have been more amazing. The cottage was exceptionally clean, very comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The views were lovely and the secure garden was perfect for the dogs. Local amenities were a short drive away. We will definitely been back.

Owners were helpful but not intrusive. Scones were a lovely welcome. Cottage is by 2 fairly busy roads, though couldn't really hear these inside but it was a bit noisy when sitting outside. Use of paddock for our dogs was a huge bonus. We had some nice walks in the surrounding area but didn't get on any beaches - poor weather and dog restrictions. Cottage interior was lovely with good sized bathrooms and bedrooms. The addition of a grab rail and a half step outside the front door would make it more disabled friendly. Would recommend this cottage for exploring Exmoor and a visit to the Black Venus pub is a must for exquisite food.

Spent a lovely week at Spring Cottage, very clean and really nice welcome pack on arrival.Even though there is a main road the cottage is quiet and feels relaxing.The garden was great and my 2 dogs had a great time and plenty of room for zoomies.Location is very good to get places, yes you need to drive but that can be a short 5 mins to Coombe Martin shops and cafés or 15-20 min for Barnstaple.Will be looking to book again. Thank you Rob and Anita.

We wanted a 2-bed single storey property near to Barnstaple and this fitted the bill very well.

We wanted a 2-bed single storey property near to Barnstaple and this fitted the bill very well. Also accommodating two guinea pigs was not a problem. The owner was very welcoming and provided a few replacement items we requested and also adjusted the timing of the electrical heating to suit us better. Drain cleaner was also provided after we reported the showers were draining rather slowly. The Christmas decoration was tasteful and we enjoyed the daughter's creative designs. The appalling weather was out of anyone's control, but having a hosepipe to clean the car was a bonus. We can well imagine it would be great for a summer trip particularly for surfers.
