Beautiful Property in Tuscany Hills!

La Stalla is a beautiful property and suite in Tuscany. Everything was as pictured in the listing and the hosts were very kind when we arrived. Since we visited in September we weren't able to use the pool as it was unheated and too cold to enjoy but it was still nice to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. The property is about a 15 minute drive from town with many hairpin turns but that is also what makes the view so great! Overall, we had a good stay.

We had a pleasant 7 days stay in la stalla end of august. There was so much space for us 5 adults and a child. The incredible wide view, garden, pool and it was quiet-a real peacefull place in nowhere -all perfect cleaned and with lots of love for nice details. The very well equiped kitchen could have few more drinking glases, but that was the only little thing we missed. There were flies and horseflies, because of the animals around. But no Moskitos at all. Thank you for having us!

Dear Katerina, Thank you for sharing your review. It is lovely to hear that your family had such a restful stay and made the most of the garden, pool, and setting. Not having mosquitoes around is definitely one of the biggest perks of this location. We appreciate the helpful note about the glasses and will get extra supplied for future stays. We would love to host you again through Friends of Tuscany, so do reach out next time and we will arrange a discount on your stay at any villa that we manage. Best wishes, Molly Friends of Tuscany Ltd

Amazing

My family and I have just returned from a most relaxing and fantastic holiday at Il Colletino La Stallas, the views of the surrounding countryside are stunning. If you want a holiday away from it all, then this is the place to be, there are local walks of varying distance starting on the doorstep each encompassing the beautiful countryside. The property is to a high standard and very clean, it included its own dedicated outside and BBQ area with shade for those hot days. The pool was excellent with good sun loungers on which to relax and unwind. The property is ideally placed to visit many places we took advantage of this by visiting Lucca, Florence, Cinque Terre and Pisa as well as local towns such as Barga. A great place to escape to and recharge those batteries.

Tolle Lage, tolles Haus, toller pool

Wij komen graag terug.

Enchanted

I cannot find the words to express how very unique this property is. We rarely go to a place twice, but I would come here every summer!! I would advise a car, but it is not mandatory if you do not want to leave the mountain. There is a little restaurant that opens at 7:00pm as well as an adjoining cafe and small grocery store that open at 7:30am about 100 meters away. There is also a bus that runs once or twice a day. The owners are so gracious; we were given fresh eggs and garden treats free of charge, we just had to ask. The perfect place to completely detox. Thank you Maurizio and Laura for the magical vacation!!
