Beautiful cabin! We fell in love with this place immediately! It was spotless and equipped with everything we needed; and then some. The hot tub is heavenly. We enjoyed it and the sauna often. We bragged about this place to everyone!

The location could not have been better. Great activities within a 20 minute drive, the hot tub worked great (didn't really try the sauna). Scenery was beautiful.

The cabin was exactly as described, already a little in its years but very cozy. The pool was fantastic especially on the rainy days to warm everybody up again. The sauna also worked and we had a spectacular view from therein. We really enjoyed our stay!

Lovely location!

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here recently. First time in Iceland so we were a little nervous about way finding and language but everything worked out fine. Great location for access to ‘should see’ sights! We loved the sauna and its great view!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Our host was very accommodating. The sauna and hot tub was the perfect cap to a day full of exploring. The location was secluded enough yet perfect for hitting all of what the golden circle has to offer.

Owner was great to communicate with. The biews are spectacular! The cabin is definitely in a sparsely populated area, so know there are no close food markets. And beware that critters like warm houses!

Great stay

This cabin is a wonderful property. It is very private and feels like a home. We split time between relaxing at the cabin and touring the area. When spending time at the cabin, we didn’t feel as if we were missing anything as we would have if we were in a hotel room. The view from the cabin is beautiful, and the hot tub and sauna are great additions. An added benefit is that the beds are very comfortable. It was a great stay, I would recommend this property to 2 couples or a family as a jumping off point to explore SW Iceland.

The location and cabin itself are great. The hot tub was really nice too. The only problem was when the first half of our group arrived and called the host as instructed to open the front gate and enter the property, the host never answered the phone, even after multiple attempts. They had to enter behind another car who had access to open the gate. This could have been a really big problem if the other car hadn’t been there. Also, we couldn’t figure out how to operate the sauna, although this was probably our fault because we couldn’t find the manual.

I never got any phone call from the guests. I was waiting for it all day. The manual is always on the dining table. All information in there.

Cute cabin in Iceland

Great location in the golden circle. The owner was very helpful and informative. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Be sure and take drinking water. Had a great time.

Nice area, cabin needs more to be desired

Apparently its self cleaning and last people left dirty dishes and a diaper that we had to clean up. We left the property cleaner than found. Owner should have cleaners come or ensure property is cleaned up. Not right on my vacation I had to wash dishes before I could use and clean up dirty diapers left on shelves. Beds need to be made by you as well, FYI. I wasnt expecting that. Also, water has STRONG sulfur smell. We took showers at local spas and bought drinking water. Only carbon in all of Iceland we stayed at that had non-glacier tasting water. Owner was nice, but didnt bother making fixes about the mess that if we left would cost additional as a fee. The location is confusing to find. The hot tub is like a warm bath, there are no jets. View is amazing thought and proximity is perfect for Golden Circle.
