River House - with fantastic view to the White River in beautiful Flúðir

We welcome you to our river house with great view to the White River (Hvítá).
The house is very spacious for your large family or a group of friends.

It is close to several tourist attractions; Gullfoss (25 km), Geysir (20 km), Skálholt (10 km) so you can easily use our place as your base and visit the area to come back in the afternoon and relax in our very spacious hot tub (12 persons) or light a fire in the fire place and look out to the peaceful river.

The view was fantastic. Everything about this house was great! The adult kids loved the pool table, we played some board games and the kitchen was well stocked. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great venue with something for everyone. Pool table, ping pong, rock climbing for the wee, and swings and a hot tub! Great view, plenty of space for privacy and what a view!

Perfect home base location

Our family of five with three young kids used this lovely house as a home base for our golden circle and south coast activities. Plenty of privacy, the space was so clean, and the kids loved all of the toys and games. There were more than were advertised, they didn’t even want to leave the house to sightsee.

Peaceful retreat

We loved everything about the property and the house was great. So many fun things for the kids to do as well as horses right outside! The view was incredible. The house was clean and had anything we could think we would need. We were not ready to leave.

A bit of utopia!

We had 8 in our group. The 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were perfect! We were comfortable and enjoyed the kitchen, including many appliances. Kids loved the chickens, playground, ground installed trampoline and the bunk beds! The view ia spectacular. Peaceful and serene.

Our trip to Iceland was wonderful, and the River House was a beyond perfect base for adventures in the south. The hosts were thoughtful, communicative and easy to work with. The house had all of the things we needed, and tons we didn't! Our kids were thrilled with the chickens, horses, playset and games... we loved the view and beautiful, secluded location!A lovely visit! We would highly recommend.

Great location! We are 6 adults and 5 kids. Lot of indoor activities to do as well. Host also provided some great tips where to buy stuff and site seeing to ensure we are on plan and comfortable.
