NEW from February 2023: Air conditioning in the kitchen and both bedrooms!!
Le Rose di Leonardo is the perfect solution for those who want to experience the daily life of Sant’Ambrogio” district, only few steps away from the main important monuments and museums. It overlooks Borgo la Croce, characteristic pedestrian street full of small shops and restaurants.
The apartment, fully equipped, is carefully furnished with a perfect balance of functional design furnitures and typical Florentine style: Tuscan tiles on the floor and wall paintings.

At "Le rose di Leonardo" you can rest after a city tour or you can work in a cozy and very comfortable place.
It is located in a pedestrian street, at the first floor of an historical building, in the heart of Florence city center. It is provided with air conditioning in the kitchen and both bedrooms (news from February 2023!!), ceiling fans and composed by kitchen/dining room, bedroom (queen bed), small bedroom (single bed), one bathroom and a storage closet.
The kitchen, provided with dishwasher, is fully equipped: water, coffee, sugar, olive oil, salt&pepper, toaster. Towels, bed linen, complimentary toiletries, hair-dryer, iron and ironing board are also provided.
WI-FI connection is available for free. Every window is provided with mosquitos nets.

I live in the same building, for this reason I will be for sure available for suggestions/necessities that may arise during your stay.

If you stay in this apartment you will understand what it means to have everything at hand. The district is Sant'Ambrogio, residential, lively and at the same time close to the most important attractions: Piazza Santa Croce is few steps away, Piazza Signoria/ Piazza del Duomo/Uffizi Gallery are 15 minutes walking .
Within walking distance is Sant'Ambrogio Market, famous for its local fresh food (fruits, vegetables, meat, fish...), while nearby the apartment you can find restaurants, bars, banks and several clothing stores.
Supermarket and pharmacy are just a few hundred meters away.

Campo di Marte train station is 15 minutes walking.
The apartment is easily reached from Santa Maria Novella Station in 20 minutes by bus: lines C2 (stop Piazza Beccaria), or line 14 (stop "Porta alla Croce").
Taxi station is just a few steps away.
Florence airport is only 20 minutes away by car.

A Rose of a location

IMO a perfect location which was close to all but not directly in the middle of the tourist crowd. Apartment was very clean and had all you could need for a pleasant stay Host was frindly and attentive. I would stay there again.

Great week in Florence!

Silvia is excellent to communicate with and was very kind and helpful. Apartment was sparkling clean and comfortable. What a wonderful spot

There are no details that Sylvia has not thought about to make you feel welcome. The apartment is in a great location, close enough to walk to the centre of the city and just far enough away from it so it is a little quieter. The space is spotless and had everything we needed.

This is the place to stay in Florence!

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it! Silvia was a great host and easy to communicate with if we had any questions. Fantastic property with access to local living

Communication was great with Silvia from start to finish. She and Emmanuel were very welcoming. The apartment exceeded our expectations. We loved the location. Florence adventure

We had a fabulous time in Florence . Our host was a fantastic making our stay so enjoyable and easy. Beautiful rose

Le Rose de Leonardo was exactly as advertised! Great location on a pedestrian street, close to important sites, extremely walkable, near the grocery and restaurants and the most delicious gelato shop! It was extremely clean, comfortable, and well appointed...home away from home! Our host, Sylvia, was gracious, warm and helpful. She provided all the basic needs and greeted us with a bottle of chianti! We would recommend Le Rose unreservedly!

A beautiful memory

This was a delightful stay. Our hosts treated us like well loved and eagerly awaited family members. The apartment was cared for like a treasured family home. It was well equipped and everything was spotlessly clean and in good working order. The hosts waited up to check us in and helped us up the stairs with our luggage. When it was time for us to leave, they called a taxi for us and waited with us until they knew we were safely on our way.

Thank you Silvia! We had a very nice week in Florence over the Christmas holiday. Perfect communication and helpful assistance at check-in. We had plenty room for 1 adult and adult daughter plus we had all the conveniences at home. The street and area had authentic vibes, felt lest touristy than direct city center, but the apartment was within short walking distance to all important sites and taxi stand. Couldn’t be more pleasant

This spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed apartment was perfect for my husband, myself, and our 20 year old son. Silvia, the manager and family owner, made everything easy and smooth, communicating with us each step of the way. She provided us with terrific suggestions for travel, restaurants, activities, and anything else we needed. Everything we needed or didn’t even know we needed was in the apartment, which made our short stay a great one. The location was not far from the center, and the bus and tram were close, affordable, and easy. We highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Florence.

A perfect flat for exploring Florence

Silvia was a fantastic host. She’s in the same building, very solicitous, and generous with her recommendations and insights about how best to explore Florence. The flat was immaculate and she even gifted us a lovely bottle of Chianti. The neighborhood is lively and more filled with locals than tourists, which we loved. It’s a 15 minute walk to the Duomo and the center of town with several great coffee shops on the way (a must after a night of enjoying the wines and foods of this great city.).

Fantastic apartment

This apartment was very spacious and everything was clean and looked brand new. Silvia was very attentive and thoughtful, down to the little details like nice soaps, shampoo, extra blankets, and even laundry softener. She also provided a welcome bottle of wine! The street is a bit loud on weekends, but Silvia thought of everything and provided earplugs just in case. Overall would stay again and would recommend! Thanks!
