The apartment is located in the gothic area in the heart of Barcelona, it was cosy clean comfortable, the beds are very comfortable it is equipped with everything you need. Our apartment was on the 4th floor with stairs that will provide everyday workout, which is great if you want to be active. Since it is located in the center area, there is noise outside, but when you close the doors and windows you dont hear anything. The apartment is surrounded with bakery shops supermarkets restaurants, it is easily connected with city’s local infrastructure, buses metro, you can walk, or take a public transportation to the beach, it takes 5-10 min to reach beach or any other tourist attraction. La Rambla is 3 min away by walking. Great experience and great host, would come back again!

Exactly as advertised

Nice clean small apartment for 2 in Gothic Barrio. It is up 6 flights of narrow stairs as listed so just be sure you can do that. Right next to Placa Orwell and just up from Ramblas. Several good places to eat right nearby.

Great location - close to everything you need

Our 13-day stay was great. While the shower and bathroom were challenging at times, overall, the AC worked great, and when you closed the doors and windows at night, it completely cut off the sound from outside the building. We could have used a few more towels but made do with the two we had. The stairs are challenging with luggage but we knew that before we booked. I would definitely recommend this place

Minimalist rooms five flight up no elevator

Adequate, no frills. Uncomfortable sofa bed and table with four plastic chairs, that and a bed constituted the furniture. Tv and stereo never used. Somewhat noisy neighborhood with young crowd. Apartment quiet as long as windows closed. Biggest drag was five flights of narrow stairs. Some good restaurants and lots of tourist shops.

Firstly, this location is absolutely fantastic! Barcelona is my favorite city in the world, and I always stay in/near Gothic Quarter or Borne neighborhoods. So I knew to expect small spaces, narrow doorways, steep staircases, and old buildings without a lift. Entryway & staircase: smaller than any we had experienced before, so just be mindful with luggage there.Bathroom: super tight fit. Could only close the door if we were in the shower or on the toilet, not washing hands or using the mirror to get ready. The door doesnt properly close off the space, it's a slider with no interior handle & always maintains a 1 inch gap. Something to note if traveling with friends. Everyone in the apartment will hear EXACTLY whats going on lol. Also zero shelves, so all bathroom/shower items have to go on the floor.Beds: Shoutout to the most comfortable fold out couch on the planet!! The sofa pictured was not the same as the one in the room, but it turned out to be great. The beds in the bedroom were smaller than a twin mattress. Partner's 5'10 and with his head all the way to the headboard, his legs hung off the end. I'm 5'4 and had maybe an inch or 2 of space at the top. Again, tiny tiny bedroom, it never could accommodate anything larger anyway. Kitchen/Dining/Living room area: big, clean, and very well appointed. AC worked great and laundry on the top floor was marvelous! Plus a balcony!! I would love to stay here again, but it would probably be on a solo trip.

Lage war sehr gut, mitten in der Stadt. Vieles war zu Fuss erreichbar. Einziger Abzug ist, dass kein Aufzug vorhanden ist.

Appartement très bien situé

L’appartement correspondait à nos attentes. Son principal attrait est sa situation en plein cœur du quartier gothique, à 5 minutes à pied de la Rambla et à 10 minutes à pied de la Barceloneta. Son principal défaut est les 87 marches qu’il faut emprunter pour s’y rendre, surtout avec des valises, mais l’annonce le mentionnait alors ce n’était pas une surprise.
