Alpine Helen is the tourist hot spot here in the Mountains of North GA. Visit us in the fall for the world’s longest running Oktoberfest. Helen, GA is centrally located to Hiawasee, Blairsville, Dahlonega, Ellijay, Sautee Nacoochee, Lake Burton, Lake Vogel and Brasstown Bald, the highest natural point in the state of Georgia. North GA is also known for its Great trout fishing, zip lining, tubing and wines tasting. Visit Three Sisters, Frog Town, Wolf Mountain and Habersham Wineries just to mention a few.
Our cabin has easy access to all Helen has to offer and is a short walk (1/4 - 3/4 mile) for shopping, dining, bars, tubing and water Park. They also offer go-carts, horse rides, hiking, biking, kayaking, mountain roads, views etc within a short drive. The cabin is private and semi-secluded with plenty of parking space.
North Georgia also has abundant wildlife, many hiking trails, lakes, rivers, and waterfalls. Enjoy the mountain Laurel in the Spring, the colorful foliage in the fall, warm mountain air in the summer and maybe even a touch of snow in the winter months.
Experience the best of the North Georgia Mountains by staying in this cozy 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin. Room to comfortably sleep up to 6 guests, this home is the perfect size for a family mountain getaway.
The cabin comes with a fully furnished kitchen and bedding. All you need to bring is your personal items and food. We have Roku tv and WiFi.

What a nice cabin! The location is just at the end of the main strip. Beds were very comfortable. It's very dog friendly, including a gate on the deck so pets can walk around outside. Communication was wonderful. Messages were answered quickly. We enjoyed our stay.

Properly was as described and clean. Hosts responded quickly to messages. Location was short drive to Helen and surrounding attractions but offered a private get away from the crowds. We enjoyed Cool River Tubing and Zipline, the mountain coaster, Nora Mill Granary, Nacoochee Antique Mall, and downtown Helen.

So cute

The cabin is so cute and cozy. It was a short drive I to town for the little shops and restaurants. We saw deer both nights there. The cabin was clean and check in was easy.

Wedding weekend for friends

Solitude at Christmas

Being up on top of the hill surrounded by woods is the perfect getaway. Then visiting the town in the evening with Christmas lights and drinking a hot coffee was very relaxing.

Great Cabin

The cabin was extremely clean. There were plenty of towels which was much appreciated. There was plenty of cookware which was clean and in good condition as well. We also appreciated the hot tub and fire pit area. Would highly recommend and would stay here again!

Cozy Cabin

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was great to be able to walk into town instead of driving. Hot tub was great after a day of hiking and walking around Helen. Would definitely come back.

Awesome Alpine Cabin minutes from Helen

This was the nicest cabin we have stayed in at this price point. We were in cabin 4 and absolutely loved using the hot tub! Everything was really neat and clean. Perfectly situated walking distance to Helen. Everything was as described and more! We took several lovely hikes in the nearby areas. We’ll be back.

Perfect for a family getaway

We took a quick family trip to Helen for the weekend and the cabin was perfect for us and our 6 and 8 year old. It was clean, stocked with what we needed for the weekend and very close to town. It is technically within walking distance but it was a little far for the kids to walk in June heat so we ended up driving to town when we went, but you definitely could walk in cooler weather or just without kids. Because our trip was short, we didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub or the fire pit, but we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay again when we go back to the area. Oh and communication with the owner was always very prompt and helpful!

First Time in Helen

The cabin was perfect for our group of 4 people. We enjoyed the hot tub at night. The cabin was in a good location although I’m not sure if I would say it’s within walking distance. Most of the shops/activity are a half mile away and the cabin is up a steep hill. Definitely don’t want to do it in the summer at least. We enjoyed our stay and the ease of renting this cabin.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay as it was very peaceful and quiet yet close to everything.

The cabin was nice and in a good location but I feel it necessary to inform someone that we saw roaches in the kitchen, there was dog hair inside the pull out sofa and the blankets had a strong smell of dog. Also the lights surrounding the porch did not work.

Quick visit to Helen

We had made very last minute arrangements to go to Helen for a couple of days and we found this cabin. The place was very well kept and the percect size for the 2 of us (myself and my 15 yr old son). He also allows for a dog which made this even better...she loved it too. This is just down from the main street and very walkable to everytbing, but the hill back to the cabin sucks after a day of walking. We drove in the next day and just paid $10 for parking. I would absolutely rent this cabin again.

Christmas Adventure

This place is awesome. Great location. I wish I could have met Dave and Toni under better circumstances. The first night the water lines froze and they showed up the following morning to try and fix it. They did everything they can and gave us the opportunity to leave with a refund. We decided to tough it out and really glad we did. Definitely a memorable Christmas. We are going to have to come back when it's warmer.
