So good we stayed here twice

Excellent, well-equipped holiday accommodation in a great location with stunning views of the mountains and the sea. We returned this year having stayed in the property around the same time last year. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners, Jeanine and Pierre, and they made us feel very much at home. With so many places still to visit in this beautiful and outstanding area of France, I'm sure we'll be back at Sugar Bread Road next year!

Sunny Villa in Cagnes sur Mer

We chose this house initially because it was central for visiting the main attractions on the riviera. We found it was ideal for this and very peaceful to stay in. It had great views towards the mountains and sea. It was extremely well equipped and clean and comfortable. Access to beaches was a short drive away as was the airport yet the planes gave no disturbance to the tranquil location. The owners were very helpful and responsive. A car would be essential.

Nice villa with a view close to Nice

It's a nice small house perched on top of the hill, which affords beautiful panoramic views of the valley and Nice. The house is made in a traditional style and has everything required for a comfortable stay. One downside was the lack of air conditioning as temperatures were extremely hot reaching up to 40 degrees. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Les Citronniers - excellent house

We very much enjoyed our stay at Les Citronniers which was a very good house from which to go to the Rugby World Cup 2023 matches in Nice! and to explore and holiday along the Riviera. The house was very clean, comfortable and well appointed and head excellent views of the mountains, countryside and coast. Our hosts who live nearby were very hospitable and helpful. We would certainly recommend this property. Mr & Mrs S.Ward

Le clou, c'est la vue depuis le balcon : panorama grand angle sur les Alpes Maritimes, de la mer à la montagne.Nos hôtes ont été disponibles sans devenir importuns.La maison est bien équipée. La vaisselles n'est pas dépareillée. La cuisine contient plein d'ingrédients de base (sel, sucre etc.) qu'il est donc inutile d'apporter.

Die Annonce der Gastgeber ist - im Nachhinein - korrekt bzgl. der angegebenen Lage und Entfernungen. Die Annonce von FeWo-Direkt ist falsch, ua, liegt das Haus 3,5 km vom Strand entfernt und nicht 700 m! Auch entsprechen die übrigen Entfernungsangaben nicht der Realität! Ohne Auto ist es nur per Taxi möglich, ins Zentrum etc zu gelangen! Es gibt keine 2 Schlafzimmer, sondern 1 Schlafzimmer für 3 Personen und ein kleines Wohnzimmer mit einer ausziehbaren Schlafcouch (sehr bequem). Insgesamt ist der Aufenthalt in dem Haus sehr angenehm: die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, die Terrassen sind schön gelegen, das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen, wenn auch sehr abgeschiedenen Umgebung am Berg.

Wir haben die Unterkunft so vorgefunden wie in der Anzeige beschrieben. Die Lage und die Terrasse waren wundervoll, man hatte einen genialen Blick über die halbe Cote d'Azur bis hin zu den italienischen Alpen! Die Vermieter Jeanine und Pierre waren sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Der kleine Pool am Haus und der wilde Garten mit allerlei Obst- und Olivenbäumen vermittelte ein herrliches südländisches Flair. Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das mediterane, hübsche Haus liegt auf einem Hügel ausserhalb der Stadt in einer langgezogenen Sackgasse. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir von den Vermietern sehr freundlichem Empfangen und in das Haus und die Umgebung eingewiesen. Vor Ort ist eine Kaution in Höhe von 200,00 in bar zahlbar. Ebenso ist bei Abreise eine Endreinigung zu machen. Die Küche ist sehr gut eingerichtet und die Betten im Schlafzimmer sind bequem. Das kleine Wohnzimmer mit TV ist zweckmäßig. Wir hatten auf ein Einzelhaus gehofft, es handelt sich aber um eine Doppelhaushälfte wo nebenan der Sohn der Vermieterin mit seiner Familie lebt. Die Terrasse nach hinten ist lediglich durch ein Gitter mit Plastikhecke geteilt. Die vor dem Haus befindliche kleine Terrasse ist durch eine Hecke getrennt, sodas man überall dicht beieinander sitzt. In der Nähe liegt eine Schule, die neben Lautstärke auch in den Morgen- und Nachmittagsstunden auf der einspurigen Straße ein Verkehrscaos verursacht. Je nach Windrichtung sind auch Geräusche von den Triebwerken der Flugzeuge auf dem ca. 15 km entfernten Flughafen von Nizza zu hören. Der zum Haus gehörende Garten mit Liegen und kleinem Aufbaupool ist direkt an der Straße gelegen. Alles in allem lud uns der Garten nicht zum Verweilen ein. Insgesamt muss man sagen, die Lage des Hauses ist gut, man kann es sehr gut als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zu den Highlights der Cote dˋAzure nutzen, braucht aber ein Auto, eine Villa ist es aber nicht.

Schönes Haus mit Fernblick

Jeanine und Pierre sind sehr nette und außergewöhnlich hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Schöne Sitzgelegenheiten im Garten und Balkon. Vom Balkon aus hat man einen schönen Blick auf die Berge und das Meer. Ruhige Lage mit Parkplatz für ein Auto. Wir waren als vierköpfige Familie unterwegs und würden wieder kommen.

Wunderschön

Sehr schönes Haus, mitten in einem Wohngebiet. Trotzdem ist es ruhig und der Blick von der Terrasse ist traumhaft. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ein Auto ist unbedingt erforderlich, da es zu Fuß ziemlich anstrengend ist und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel weiter weg sind. Alles in allem ist es ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um die Côte d’Azur zu erkunden.

Sehr schönes Haus in toller Umgebung

Wir haben zwei sehr schöne Wochen in Cagnes-sur-mer verbracht, was nicht zuletzt an der wunderschönen Unterkunft lag. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Ruhige Lage, gepflegter und schöner Garten voller Zitronen-, Kumquatz- und Olivenbäumen mit kleinem Pool. Tolle Terrasse mit fantastischem Ausblick aufs Meer, auf die Alpes maritimes und ins Grüne. Was will man mehr? Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Perfekter Sommerurlaub!

Wir haben unseren Urlaub im Ferienhaus Les Citronniers sehr genossen. Das Haus bietet alles, was man braucht. Es ist perfekt ausgestattet. Dabei gibt es mehrere Möglichkeiten, draußen zu sitzen, den schönsten Ausblick über die Stadt und das Meer hat man aber vom Balkon. Es gibt einen kleinen Garten mit herrlichen Zitronenbäumen, die wirklich eine schöne Atmosphäre zaubert. Außerdem ist ein kleiner Pool vorhanden. Das Haus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Wohnstraße oberhalb der Stadt, von den Nachbarn bekommt man nahezu nichts mit. Ein Auto ist allerdings sehr von Vorteil, die Entfernung zur Stadt und zum Strand beträgt schon ein paar Kilometer und der Anstieg ist sehr steil. Von Cagnes-sur-Mer sind viele Ziele wie Cannes, Nizza und Antibes schnell erreicht, auch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Mit dem Vermieter-Paar kann man sich auf französisch, englisch und deutsch problemlos verständigen. Die Beiden sind absolut sympathisch, sehr nett und freundlich und immer bemüht, auf Wünsche und Bedürfnisse einzugehen. Die weite Anreise aus dem hohen Norden Deutschlands hat sich uneingeschränkt gelohnt!

Excellente acceuille, tres belle vue appartir du balcon

Nous avons ete tres biens acceuilli par la fille de l,hôte. C,est famille nous a accordé une attention particuliere Pendant tout notre sejour. Les activites pour enfants et celles des adultes nous ont comblés car la position du logement nous permettait d,etre facilement dans les villes et plages environantes. Très bon séjour au calme avec vue magnifique

Hôtes très accueillants, location vraiment trés symphatique au calme et bien située.Il est en plus apprèciable d'avoir un équipement vraiment complet, même les consommables étaient à disposition ( papier toilette....). Juste un bémol sur la description car il s'agit d'une maison trois piéces dont le séjour peut servir de chambre en dépliant un canapé, et le parking se fait au possible dans la rue.

Wunderschönes Häuschen mit grandioser Aussicht

Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub in diesem Häuschen verbracht. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft. Auswahl von 2 Terrassen, Küche ist super ausgestattet, alles sehr sauber. Tolle Erfrischung im Pool. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gern wieder. und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen lieben Dank!

Ein Kleinod mit südlichem Flair

Haus mit mediterranem Flair im Grünen und doch stadtnah, absolut ruhig und mit weiter Sicht bis zum Meer gelegen. Die Räume sind sauber, mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet, für zwei Personen genau richtig. Die Matratzen sind sehr gut! Der vom übrigen Privatgarten abgetrennte Gästebereich mit Balkon, kleinem Rasenstück mit Zitronenbäumen und weiteren Pflanzen sowie Sitzgelegenheit vor dem Haus bietet Sonne fast den gesamten Tag. Von der angebauten zweiten Haushälfte sieht man praktisch nichts, alles ist blickdicht. Das Gastgeberehepaar ist freundlich und hat gute Tipps parat. Leider gibt es keinen Abstellplatz fürs Auto auf dem Gelände oder der Straßenseite des Ferienhauses, so dass wir unseren Plug In-Hybrid während des Aufenthaltes nicht am Haus mit Strom betanken konnten. Der Pool war Ende Mai bei Tagestemperaturen über 25 Grad leider noch nicht aufgestellt. Die Gastgeber boten uns freundlich ihren eigenen Pool im Garten schräg gegenüber an, aber das ist nicht dasselbe. Cagnes bietet alles: lebhafte bis mondäne Innenstadt mit Läden, Restaurants, Märkten und Veranstaltungen, die pittoreske Altstadt Haut de Cagnes und viele hundert Meter Kiesstrand, wo man – gerade in der Vorsaison – problemlos viel Platz (auch zum Parken!) findet. Auch das Hinterland hat zahlreiche schöne Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Per Fahrrad empfiehlt sich die Radstrecke direkt am Meer. Vom Ferienhaus sind es circa 20 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad zum Strand, allerdings durch ziemlich lebhaften Verkehr, und zurück geht es wieder steil hinauf ins ruhige Wohngebiet! Très satisfait

Très satisfait par la location. Propriétaires accueillants et disponibles. Location propre avec de nombreux équipements et commodités (cuisine équipée, lave linge, produits d'entretien, draps, serviettes, guides touristiques...). Rien ne manque pour un séjour en famille. Localisation dans un quartier calme avec très belle vue sur la mer et la montagne.

Bonne petite semaine

Très bonne le seul problème c'est loin du centre ville et la route un peu compliqué à part ça la location est très bien propriétaire très sympa et au petit soin
