A private, fully-equipped apartment with stunning ocean views - an ideal retreat in a quiet location a piece of wilderness in town.

This apartment is spacious, comfortable, and well-lit with natural light. It offers an amazing and uninterrupted view of the ocean through a wall of east-facing windows. The photographs on display are actual views captured from the property. The perfect place to witness the annual whale migration, you can enjoy the sightings from the comfort of the living area or the deck.
A short drive or walk to the beach and popular swimming spot at Kianniny Bay.

The View is located on a peaceful street that provides a serene environment with direct access to the coastal reserve and stunning clifftop ocean walks. The View is an excellent holiday retreat that is only a short walk away from Tathra Beach, a safe and sheltered spot for swimming at Kianinny Bay, and a variety of local shops, cafes, and restaurants.

The apartment features a spacious deck, a generously sized open-plan living area, two bedrooms, and a bathroom equipped with laundry facilities. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, while the second one comes with bunk beds.

Parking is available on the property, and you can access it by taking four steps down from the carpark. From there, you'll need to take three more steps to enter the apartment.

The View is a perfect retreat for vacationers who want to relax in a cosy lounge while enjoying the beautiful view of the rolling waves, and bird and animal life even during a rainy day. Tathra, a small coastal village, is conveniently located between Eden and Bermagui and is surrounded by National Parks, making it an ideal spot to unwind.

Plan on using two bedrooms? Please note that there is an additional charge of $20 per bed per night. Kindly confirm whether you will be using the second bedroom so we can adjust the cost of your booking accordingly. Thank you.

As we do not provide any facilities for babies or infants, you can opt to:
EITHER
Use the facilities in the second bedroom, i.e. the bed, pillows and towels, at an additional $20 per night per infant. Please book as a child. A mattress protector provided for kids in nappies or bedwetters is available.
OR
You can bring your cot, sheets and towels for infants or toddlers at no extra cost.

PLEASE NOTE
We only accept bookings for at least five nights between Christmas and Australia Day.
The hosts live in a separate apartment above meaning that 'Absolute Sea View' is a fully self-contained private space. If guests require help or advice about anything in the area we are happy to help but essentially we leave you to enjoy your space.

This is a lovely property in all respects. Light-filled, clean and very comfortable, set in beautiful gardens, in a quiet and peaceful location - and with an absolutely mesmerising view.

Very Pleasant and Peaceful

A lovely, quiet place to relax, unwind, and soak up the ocean views. We were lucky enough to spot a few whales from the balcony as well. A great location, and base, to explore the beautiful local coastline. Perfect for us !

Great place to relax

Excellent location and excellent hosts. The dining / living area is the length of the house, facing east, with more than 50% window coverage while still being private. Great mix of ocean (with the odd whale) and vegetation (birds) to take in while sitting and doing nothing. Hope to visit again soon!

Great views and plenty of room

We enjoyed our stay at The View, despite the poor weather. It was good being able to look over bushland and the ocean as the rain squalls came across. There was plenty of room and all the facilities were good. Would have liked a cake of soap in the bathroom.

Great break at The View

Property was all it promised, was presented beautifully and was well located with just a 15min walk to the Tathra Pub (with its own brewery and live entertainment), the wharf and the shops. The sea view was excellent making it a pleasant spot and we had spectacular electrical storms over the sea. Owners were helpful and pleasant. Undercover parking for our vehicle as well. Very happy with our stay.

We had such a lovely relaxing stay at “the View”. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed looking out over the ocean and watching the weather change. We also enjoyed the walk along the cliff tops bush track from the backyard. I dare say we will come again! Thank you 😊

Peaceful retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The View in Tathra. Paul and Lee were friendly and considerate hosts who gave us space to enjoy our family holiday. The property was spotless and thoughtfully appointed, and the view from the living areas was just gorgeous. We saw Sea Eagles flying over the water and other birdlife in the garden. It would be an amazing location during whale migration seasons! We hope to visit again and happily recommend it to others.

Reluctantly we left on Tuesday after the best 4 day stay we have ever had anywhere - it is just a little piece of paradise, so clean, so private & quiet, beautifully appointed accommodation, and you must get out of bed to see the sunrise - a ball of fire emerging from the horizon, a perfect landscape with Paul & Lee's beautiful garden in the foreground then the corridor of bushland followed by that magnificent ocean. We will definitely be back only this time for a longer stay. Well done Paul & Lee on getting it all just right- thank you

Delightful oasis

A beautiful clean, bright & spacious accomodation. Full view of ocean & a whale! Delightful host. Advertisement says private wilderness however the owners were living above. The noise level from same was huge. Had we been informed of same we would have considered our options. Open disclosure would have been great.
