Popular 4-bedroom/4-bath layout with two private bedroom/baths. Just a short walk to the beach.

The house is a short walk to the boardwalk at the end of the street that crosses the dunes to the wide Gulf beaches. The beach at Pointe West is groomed and has no vehicle traffic. This makes for a safe and enjoyable day on the sand.

The house has 4 bedrooms and 4 full size baths. The Master and Bedroom #2 have king beds and private baths. Bedroom #3 has a Queen bed and is on the main living level. The 4th bedroom has bunk and a trundle bed and will sleep 6. Total sleeping is 12.

There is cable, 4-TV’s and 4-DVD players for your enjoyment. The living room has a 52” HDTV for family viewing. High speed wireless Internet access is provided.

An open concept gourmet kitchen is ready for your cooking needs. It is complete with stainless steel appliances and table ware for 16. Toaster, blender and coffee maker are also included as well as an assortment of pots, pans and baking items.

The balconies have gorgeous views of the surf, bay and pond directly behind the house. The bottom balcony has a wicker table and four chairs plus there is a conversation area with 2 chairs, a sofa and a coffee table. The upper balcony off the master bedroom has a bistro table and 2 chairs plus two lounges. On the ground level are two picnic tables.

***RESORT FEE: Please note that you will need to obtain a wristband and access code from the Pointe West Beach Club to take full advantage of the resort facilities (pools, gym, clubhouse game room, Basketball and Pickle ball courts, restaurant, and bar). They charge $25 per guest 4 years old and older for the entire length of your stay. This fee will be paid directly to the club upon registration. *** (You will receive an email from the Pointe West POA to prepay the resort fee. The primary guest on your reservation will need to show an ID at the Beach Club Office to pick up the wristbands and parking passes.) *** Fees increased to $25/per person in 2023. The fee is not mandatory. If you do not plan to use the pools and other amenities during your stay, you do not have to purchase the wristbands.***

Family Beach Trip 2023

We had a great time and loved the location. We had three beach houses in a row including this one and overall this house was fine but did not have all the things the other two had. The owner was very helpful.

Memorial Weekend Fun

Softball World Series

The property was perfect for everyone staying with us. Enough places to sleep with the 4 bedrooms and everyone loved that there was a bathroom designated for each bedroom. The view of the fountain from the back porches was so peaceful to sit and listen too and there was always a breeze. The living room and open kitchen had enough seating for us all. The short walk to the beach was perfect for those that couldn’t walk far. The community pool was relaxing and could see the waves rolling onto the beach. We will definitely be back.

We had a great time here but a few things were broken before our arrival and not fixed. Master room did not have curtains over the outside door and the door handle was about to break. There was one trash bag, one roll of toilet paper for each bathroom and not much hand soap.

Comfy home away from home!

We greatly enjoyed our stay! The beds were comfortable and the space was perfect for our size of group. The view of the pond behind the house was nice and the proximity to the beach was perfect. The pool was about a mile down the road which made for a short drive. Would definitely recommend!

Our family loved having our own rooms and bathrooms (4/4 wow) and hanging out together in the living areas!!! The location was great with a peaceful view of the pond and walking distance to the private beach. There was a problem in the 100* heat with the a/c and the owner communicated quickly, cared, and had it fixed asap. Fabulous!

The house was adequate

The upstairs faucet was never working. The remote for the TV in the bunk bead room was missing. The Blinds were tangled and the light was out in the bunk bead room. We could not find a broom and dust pan to sweep the house before leaving.

Great house

We had a great time at Sea la Vie. The house was clean when we arrived. Everyone said their beds were comfortable and the space was plenty. We had 12 people in the house so we were at max capacity and didn’t feel cramped at all. The only things that bothered me were that there were no dish towels and only 12 washcloths in the whole house. That meant that we had to do laundry daily. Also the sprinklers are timed to go off at 9 am that is one house before checkout time. We had to fight the sprinklers to load our vehicles. Other than that it was a great trip!! I would recommend this house they just need to add more washcloths and dish towels both washing and drying.

Great property

We enjoyed our stay. House location is great - close enough to the beach that our littles could walk without having to be carried. Beach is very gradually sloped so the kids could enjoy the water without being afraid of big waves. Bedrooms good size, beds are comfortable. Lots of beach towels. Plenty of seating in living room, dining room and on porch for our family of 8. Property is kept up well. We rented chairs, a canopy and a wagon from Gulf Coast Concierge, highly recommend doing that, especially if you’re traveling with kids. Our first time in Galveston, we had a great time.

Family Getaway

Sea La Vie was everything we needed for a family vacation. The house was very clean and very well stocked in the kitchen. There was nothing that was needed. Beach access was very close and walkable. There were 8 of us and we never felt crowded. Would definitely book this house again. Love the west end of the island.

Gorgeous beach house!

This rental was absolutely gorgeous. It truly felt like a home more so than any other condo we’ve stayed at in Pointe West. The walk to the beach was quick and easy and the walkway across the sand dune had a ramp for strollers/wagons. There was a lot of water without good drainage to the grass and the street but there was also a lot of rain this week so I’m sure it’s not always an issue. We would definitely return and can honestly say it was our favorite place to stay in pointe west!

We had a great time

Four girlfriends with kids had amazing long weekend! Everything was comfortable in the house, we enjoyed our stay and it was conveniently close to the beach and the surrounding area around the house was very well maintained and pretty! Beach clubhouse for us personally was not worth it, we went there first night and we’re disappointed. Pool was tiny and water was dirty, hot tub was broken and not working… We did have dinner pool side there and they had good cafe with decent options to accommodate different dietary needs. It definitely was not worth for us $15/person The owner was very easy to communicate with and we had no issues with the house itself, kitchen had everything we needed, house was clean and everything worked great!

After being renters in Pointe West for over 10 years we finally decided to purchase a cottage of our own. We love the seclusion and the amenities Point West has to offer. While we really enjoy the views and tranquility of the bayfront, we also wanted to hear the surf as well. The cottage brings back the surf and memories of our children when they were much younger. We wanted to offer those same experiences to other families who want to be near the beach. So come and enjoy. Pointe West is a great place for family fun.
