Welcome to our home away from home! We are "Knight and Day" from the rest with our charming resort getaway! Our focus to detail and hospitality promises to provide you with memorable vacation you will want to return each year!

We are new owners privately managing with personal attention to details and booking. Newly updated furnishings, flat screen tv's, linens, bedding/mattresses (master suite adjustable bed), kitchen ware and more. Decor with you and your family and friends in mind for upscale resort getaway with all the comforts of home. 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 baths plus a sleeper sofa will sleep up to 8 comfortably. (for additional guests please arrange with owners at booking). Balcony furniture and grill for lounging, dining & front row seating for Tuesday pm fireworks (summer months only).

Portofino is a destination resort and spa with panoramic views of sugar white beaches, turquoise gulf waters and tranquil Santa Rosa Sound Intercoastal waterway. Our spacious, smoke free, three bedroom residence offers these unobstructed views from each room!

The Portofino Lifestyle Center and Spa is adjacent to Tower 2, just a short walk away. It offers a full range of resort amenities for the whole family...
The exclusive Spa at Portofino offers a full menu of customized body treatments as well as a full salon. Highly recommend treating yourself to one or more of their menu items!
The Fitness Center offers state of the art exercise equipment, personal training, as well as group classes and even yoga on the beach!
Indoor olympic size pool for when weather doesn't permit outdoor swimming or you just prefer to get your exercise by swimming laps.
Two infinity pools and hot tub with full cabana service and live music.
Terracotta and Terrazza grille offer fine dining and casual dining options with a delicious menu including local seafood.

Gulf and sound side water sports, i.e. kayak, paddle boards, wave runners, floats, inflatable water park for the kids and the kid-at-heart and much more are available for rent.

Historic Fort Pickens is located on the west side of the Island. Historic tours, National Park sites, great fishing as well as less crowded beaches can be found there.

A variety of great shopping, food and entertainment can be found centrally located on Pensacola Beach.

Just across the Pensacola Beach Bridge then westward into Gulf Breeze over the 3 mile bridge and into downtown Pensacola (approx 15-20 min drive) offers an array of night life, museums, historic sites, and amazing variety of restaurants.

We stayed at "Knight and Day" for our family vacation last week and I truly don't have the words to describe how spectacular the entire condo and the amazing views were. First of all, Lisa was wonderful and made the entire process so easy. She checked in and made sure we had everything we needed to get settled and promptly answered any questions I had. Secondly, we were blown away by the amazing views from the huge balcony and every room in the condo, the comfort of all the beds, and how they had provided everything we could possibly need in the kitchen and bathrooms. We try to take a family beach vacation every year and always use VRBO. This is by far our favorite of all the places we have stayed and we made SO many wonderful memories while we were there. We have all decided this is where we want to stay every time we come now. Thank you Dave and Lisa for allowing us to stay in your beautiful condo!!!

Summer vacation at it’s best

This Portofino condo was one of the best out of several I have stayed at this resort. Furnishing we’re top notch and comfortable. Kitchen fully equipped. Host communication was excellent. View is perfect, gulf and sound. Definitely on my list to revisit.

Amazing location

3 couples stayed to watch their son’s college baseball team play during spring training. Lisa and Dave are outstanding hosts! They have thought of every detail. Numerous amenities throughout the condo, even a full cupboard of spices. We used the grill numerous nights for dinner which was fantastic. Beds were supper comfortable. The patio was great for watching sunrises and sunsets and the location is at the end of the preserve so very little traffic. Great walking path along the road and walkway to the Gulf beach very close to condo. Lisa was a great communicator and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Felt like home!

The condo was absolutely as represented and more. This rental is absolutely the homey stay we needed. The decor is warm and welcoming and you can honestly just bring your clothes! Having all of the basics included in the kitchen and bathrooms was so handy! Lisa was also so helpful and kind to find a bakery for the birthdays we were celebrating while in Pensacola. I absolutely recommend this condo!

Fabulous Family Vacation

Everything was beautiful, and my family of seven had a great vacation. Absolutely wonderful condominium unit and was exactly as pictured and described. We have stayed at the Portofino numerous times in the last ten years, and this was by far the best trip. This Tower is closest to the main pool, and we had amazing views of the pool, the bay, and even the beach since this is a corner balcony (it is huge). We spent a lot of time on the balcony. The owners have thought of everything a guest could possibly need, and the decor was top-notch. We travel to Pensacola regularly and found this place to be one of our favorites. I highly recommend it.

Truly a "Home away from Home"

WOW, such hospitality! Before we even arrived, we felt welcomed by Lisa's quick and gracious responses to our questions. It typically takes a day or so to settle into a rental unit, but with this one, we unpacked and felt immediately at home. Lisa and David provide you with what you need and beyond to make a family beach vacation special. From beach towels, several umbrellas and two great beach chairs; to spices and utensils and all the fixin's for a good ole crab/shrimp boil! Even foil, saran wrap and baggies, to hold the leftovers! The Master bath is the nicest we've ever had in a rental unit. And all the extra storage units/spaces along with the fans, were a nice touch. Beds were comfy. As others' have mentioned, you literally have a front row seat for the fireworks, so amazing! Portofino Resort has something for everybody in the family. And depending on the 'mood' of the kids:) it is great to have the Bayside or Beach side water as well as the pools. Workout room and tennis(my husband said were the best he's played on on a vacation), were great also. Thank you Lisa and David for one of the best family vacations we've ever had, and making the first one with our Grand baby extra special!

Location, views and amenities

This complex is the reason we came back to this area. It is outside of the main tourist hub of activity. A short drive East toward the tip of the Island will provide the most rustic beaches with wider wave landing areas to allow for wading and walking. The Gulf is smoother there and younger kids and older adults will not get knocked around as much when swimming. The condo was lovely! The beds are always a concern when traveling. These beds were amazingly comfortable. Lots of attention to detail with lotions, soaps and linens in all the bathrooms. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots and pans to cook with and a pretty well stocked spice cabinet. Outdoor grill works great. We ate most meals in. There were many books on the book shelves and games in the cabinets in case you were stuck inside due to weather or so exhausted that you just needed a rest! The views from the balcony were stunning and with a corner unit you could see the complex pool and adventure areas, the Sound and the Gulf which was an absolute treat! Besides all of the creature comforts in the condo, you have a pool at each building that is great for a quiet dip or a pretty private hot tub soak. We aren’t spa people, but that is available as well as a small market, coffee shop and gift shop at the Lifestyle Center. But the looks there were the “resort” life we were seeking after beach time had worn us out. Two large pools and hot tubs. Nice foliage, furniture and music while having the sound as your backdrop was our biggest treat. The service was good, the prices were quite reasonable and the food was so good we ate 3 meals there poolside. The owner was a jewel to work with when we had questions. She was very accommodating and personal when we had a few minor concerns that were out of her control on the property. We will be back and if you are looking for a home style vacation with resort convenience this property is a winner and this condo was just perfect.

Beautiful, well stocked unit

Our families thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the unit. It’s in great condition with awesome views of the bay and the gulf so sunrise and sunset! The kitchen has everything we needed and the owner checked in with me to make sure all was well. The beds are super comfy and I now want a bed that has zero gravity and gently vibrates me to sleep. We love the property too and always have a good time when we stay here. We will be back. Thanks, Lisa and family!!

Wonderful week!

We loved our week in Pensacola Beach! The condo is so beautiful as well as the resort. Lisa was wonderful and responded quickly to texts and emails. Only negative is the Resort amenity fee seems expensive when you still have to pay for tennis rackets, bikes etc. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect Portofino

Everything about Knight and Day condo at Portofino Resort makes it an ideal vacation place. The condo is beautiful and completely stocked with every necessary item. The location is perfect for beach days or shopping and exploring.

A perfect spot for a perfect vacation!

My family and I thoroughly enjoy staying at "Knight and Day" from the beginning of our week to the end! Lisa was ready to see to our specific needs and saw that we were taken care of in a very timely manner. When we walked into their property all of us immediately relaxed after our long trip and gravitated to the balconies and comfy common area/kitchen. The views of the sound and the gulf were always both calming and invigorating. We slept well on the mattresses which is important to all travelers. We all appreciated the amenities the Knights provided which helped make our stay easy with fewer groceries to buy and no need to bring beach chairs or towels! Thank you to Lisa and David!

Lovely condo and people

We had a great time. The condo is very nice, amazing views, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The view from the master bedroom is my favorite. Lisa was so great to work with. Really a beautiful place to stay for anyone who wants to visit the area.

Perfect Beach Vacation!

I cannot begin to describe how perfect this beach condo was for our beach week! Every tiny detail has been considered and provided. The decor is impressive (especially if you are a lamp geek like me) as well as super comfortable bedding! The kitchen was well stocked and even had all the basic seasonings and little things you always end up having to purchase. This home felt like home! The view from the balcony was only outdone by the gorgeous beach only steps away. We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to return. Lisa is an incredible host and we can't express enough how perfect the condo was. If we could give 6 Stars we would!

We just recently left this condo and are already looking at booking to return! Beautiful view from every room and so well stocked! We had everything and more than we needed for our stay! The weather didn’t cooperate with us but we still had a great time!

A peaceful retreat!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely condo overlooking two beautiful bodies of water. Everything was provided in this comfortable condo to make our stay easy with no need to run out and get basics. The owners are very gracious and made sure all our needs were taken care of. We would definitely rent this again. Loved the feeling of safety and peace during the beginning of the virus crisis.

We chose Portofino for all it has to offer! Gorgeous views from each room and balcony. Resort atmosphere in the communal pool area with cabana servers and tropical atmosphere. Private pools at each tower for a more quiet lounge. Indoor, olympic size pool, tennis courts, and fine dining. Tower 2 is adjacent to the communal pool area and a short walk to the gulf.

Portofino is situated on the east side of the Pensacola Beach Island providing a more quiet and private resort atmosphere on one of the top 10 beaches listed in the USA. The resort is located on the sound side offering numerous water sport activities, dolphin cruises with just a short walk across the walkway to the gulf on sugar white sands and tropical colored waters. Yet a short drive to the west side of the beach is the famous Ft. Pickens area with historic tours and fishing in the pass.
