I can’t say enough good things about our stay. The house was completely dog and kid friendly. The pool was so convenient and heated to an amazing temperature. The beach was also SO close and secluded. We loved it!!!

Great Location on a Great Island

We have been coming to East Beach since the 80's. This house gives you the character of East Beach and is conveniently located near beach access. Our group was comfortable as the house has good space for us to gather (group of 9+baby).

Girl's Getaway

Beautiful neighborhood and a cool older home. Kitchen is modern with a built in icemaker (very handy). Plenty of seating for everyone, beds were comfortable. The house has an old Florida vibe which I really liked. Emmons Realty made everything simple. Would definitely stay again.

We were staying at the property for the weekend. The deck furniture are in a bad shape and found dead bug on the deck. I have paid extra for the pool to be heated ($200) and it was a bit warm (my guests were not comfortable in the pool). Otherwise the house is ok.

The heated pool was a huge plus for our spring visit; it makes this a 3-season house instead of 1-season. It is close to the North end of Bruce Dr (good) and the beach access path is unique, lovely fern and tree canopy. One small issue was resolved quickly by property management, an excellent plus.

Our family of 12 had plenty of space. We loved the large bedrooms and kitchen. The location was very convenient to the beach. Wagons make the the little trip through the forest (beach access) easier.we had only visited East Beach before, but Gould’s Inlet was beautiful! The pool was a bonus, but actually made our stay even better. Overall a great experience and we would come back. The only thing missing was wood for the fire pit and gas for the grill-if those things aren’t included (we assumed), then may want to add to description to provide your own.

Wonderful house, great location! Kitchen needs a little help.

You can't beat the location of this house, only 2 blocks from the beach. So easy to walk to. And easy driving access to restaurants and shops. The house was wonderful! The yard with the pool area and the fire pit was so private and relaxing. The house had plenty of space for our family of 9 people. The beds are SO comfortable - we all slept great! The only complaint I have is they updated the kitchen with high end appliances but it is not a well stocked kitchen as far as utensils, pans, plates, glasses, etc. We struggled with finding basic things needed for cooking. And what they do have is very cheap, low end. But if they upgraded some of that, then they could call it a chef's kitchen but as it is now, it is simply not. Overall a wonderful house and we enjoyed our stay. St. Simon's is a fabulous beach town.

Family Vacation

Overall it was great. The pool & location was great. However, the bed linens need replacing & furniture looks very used. I’m glad I brought my own linens because the pillows and blankets were dirty. The kitchen was great but all the cookware was very random and leftoverish. There are no bread pans or good pots. The oven was ancient and awkward to operate but did the job. The freezer didn’t freeze, it was like a refrigerator. Ice maker for the counter was provided, enough for a couple people. The air conditioner upstairs didn’t keep upstairs cool enough. I would stay there again but would make sure freezer and HVAC are operating properly. You could tell it was end of season, lots of small maintenance needs and needed a deep cleaning. The washer and dryer were great to have because towels were limited too

Beautiful Area

Overall we had a great time! Property is dated and could use some upgrades. Several small items need to be repaired like gate latches and door knobs. Vent cover on the microwave fell off and hit our mother when she was cooking. Location to the beach was great?

Outstanding location and rental

The perfect location and rental size for a large family to vacation at. Management was very accommodating and responsive to inquiries. Would stay again at this rental when visiting St Simons Island.
