Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Lovely garden. Great location. We found the bed a little too firm for our tastes. Some of the crockery could do with replacing due to chips, particularly the glasses. However, overall we found the property very comfortable. We had a great holiday and we loved Annecy.

Beautiful location

The apartment is situated under the owner's home, with access to a spacious and pleasant garden. The views of the mountain behind are amazing. Very convenient to Annecy and the villages on the eastern side of the lake. Our host was very nice and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and the apartment clean. There is room for improvement - small and medium sized saucepans are needed for the small induction hob, and it would have been nice to find a few kitchen basic essentials like salt, pepper, oil left in the cupboard, or coffee filters for the coffee machine, or more than one tea towel. But on the whole, we had a very pleasant stay in this lovely apartment.

The Jewel of Veyrier du Lac

Chalet location is in the ideal location of Veyrier du Lac - only 4km away from Annecy town, so close enough to enjoy the attractions there but also having somewhere to retreat to. The facilities within this property are a very high standard, and our hosts (who occupy the upper level of the house) were more than helpful and greeted us with a warm welcome on our arrival. The most important things in the town are only a few minutes walk away i.e. boulangerie, supermarche, public beach, cafe, etc. There are plenty of hiking opportunities in the hills to the rear of the chalet doorstep, or else a more relaxing time at the nearby public beach. There is a water taxi which operates direct to/from Annecy town during the summer months. This is good fun and only takes about 10mins - we used this service once to return after a day when we hiked into Annecy via Mont Veyrier. This was a great holiday for us, and we would have no hesitation to recommend to others.

Good and bad points

Good points: The owners were friendly and attentative. Close to the lake (which was lovely), and 15 mins to Annecy by car. The apartment was a good size for two adults and was well equipped. We particularly appreciated the games, barbeque, etc that were provided. The outside area was very pleasant and there were plenty of deckchairs, eating spaces. Points to consider: The bathroom and WC is off the main bedroom and not accessible to others sleeping in the main room. One bath and one hand towel for two adults per week was insufficient. The cooker is a combi-microwave oven and the instructions were insufficient for us to cook non-microwave meals. The seemingly new bed had a little fault, in that is appeared to dip slightly in the middle. We felt the owner was a little pedantic in checking the extensive contents' itinery before returning the deposit cheque.

It was stipulated in the contract that the rent of the linen and the sheets was to the amount of 12 euro a person, you paid only for a set of towels for 1 person, thus you found, besides sheets and cloths,1 bath mat, 1 bath towel, 1 towel and 1 glove. If you had wanted 2 sets of towels, you would have been able to pay the price rate for it. Doubtless I am pedantic to verify the apartment at the time of the departure, but you choosed to do the housework before leaving, and it is normal that nothing misses and everything is in a good state for the following ones. I take good note of your difficulty to use the oven and I am sorry about it, I look for a translation in English for the use of this quite new oven. As regards the bed, we are going to take the measures to improve this little fault.

Appartement agréable et bien situé

Nous avons passé 1 semaine en famille, à 4. Nous avions pris la chambre supplémentaire. Nous avions donc un bel espace. L'appartement en rez de jardin est agréable, on se croirait dans une maison. Très proche à pied du lac et des commerces. Nombreuses activités possibles, visites, marche, vélo...Les hôtes étaient très sympathiques.

Un sejour inoubliable à Veyrier

L'appart est super bien placé. Commerces, restos et plage de la brune a proximité immédiate de l'appartement. Avec la deuxième chambre en supp, nous étions super bien à 4. Petit bemol sur la sécurité pour les enfants vis a vis de la piscine en contrebas (non utilisable par les locataires mais avec une barrière quasi inexistante). Sinon super.

Merci pour votre appréciation. Contente que la location vous ai plu. Je précise seulement que le volet sécurité anti noyade qui recouvre totalement le bassin est fermé quand les propriétaires ne sont pas dans le bassin. La petite clôture est juste là pour marquer l'espace privé.

Parfait pour profiter pleinement de la région

Toute l’ambiance, le confort pour profiter de cette région que nous ne connaissions pas. La plage de la brune est à 10 minutes à pieds, Annecy à 10 minutes en voiture et il y a tant à visiter à proximité ou en prenant l’autoroute pour le Lac Léman par exemple. Merci encore pour l’accueil !

Séjour trop court!!

Annecy est magnifique mais veyrier sur lac on aurait pas pu tomber mieux. Bon emplacement possibilité de faire pas mal de chose à pied. Toute ma petite famille étaient ravie et nous comptons renouveler l expérience et pour cela nous feront appel à vous car le logement est très agréable !!!

Gute Lage aber kleine Schönheitsfehler

positiv: Checkin bereits um 15:00 Uhr möglich, Kinderbett und Kinderhochstuhl vorhanden, grosser Garten mit Schaukel, HUnd der Besitzer sehr gut erzogen, sonnige Terrasse mit grossem Sonnenschirm, 5 Minuten zu Fuss zum See negativ: oberflächig sauber aber in den Ecken müsste mal wieder gewischt werden, für 3 Personen gab es nur zwei grosse Handtücher, Betten mussten selbst bezogen werden, Geschirr und Besteck ist teilweise abgenutzt, ACHTUNG: Wohnung verfügt laut Ausschreibung über zwei getrennte Schlafzimmer; tatsächlich handelt es sich um eine Wohnküche mit zwei Ausziehbetten und ein separates Schlafzimmer durch welches der einzige Zugang zum Bad besteht.

Un petit havre de paix à 5 min d'Annecy, avec tout le confort et l'équipement tant à l'intérieur qu'à extérieur : salon de jardin orienté ouest (superbe coucher de soleil). Proche de petits commerces, tout peut se faire pied. Petite plage à 10 min avec activités nautiques sur le Lac (pédalo, paddle ...) Nous avons passé une superbe semaine. Les propriétaires ont été très aidants et à notre écoute. Bravo !!

Super logement bon emplacement, j’aurais bien aimé qu’on me propose la chambre supplémentaire qui est sur les photos mais dispo uniquement sur demande. Du coup avec juste une chambre ce n’était pas super confort avec nos 2 enfants. Logement tres bien situé proche du lac et des commerces à pieds !

Séjour très agréable d'une semaine lors des vacances scolaires de février. L'appartement est confortable, et offre une jolie vue sur le lac et le mont Semnoz. L'appartement tout en étant au calme, est proche des commerces de Veyrier (- de 5 minutes à pied) comme des bords du lac (- de 5 minutes à pied). Les hôtes sont charmants, et les check in et check out se sont déroulés très simplement.
