Hi Gordon, thank you for your review. I have checked and the property recently just had the compliance certificate completed for the smoke alarms. Maybe you were unable to see them during your stay. Thank you again and we hope to welcome you back soon. Gold Coast Holiday Homes

Hi Kathleen, Thank you for your feedback, and we're truly sorry to hear that your experience fell short of expectations. We completely understand how disappointing it is to arrive to a property that doesn’t meet the standards you were promised. We apologise for the initial difficulty you had in reaching us—this is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide. We appreciate you persisting and contacting our main office so we could respond appropriately. Once we were made aware, we arranged for our cleaners to return immediately and also provided compensation as a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience. We’ve taken your comments seriously and are reviewing both our communication systems and cleaning processes to ensure this does not happen again. We also appreciate your note about areas needing redecoration and will be assessing the property for updates during our next inspection. Thank you again for your honest review. While it’s disappointing to hear, feedback like yours is essential in helping us improve. Kind regards, Gold Coast Holiday Homes

Hi Cherrill, Thank you for providing feedback on your stay. Understandably due to the rain and wind we experienced on the Coast during your stay the windows were in need of a clean and we had to wait until the rain had finished to arrange this. We did contact you regarding the wifi and it seemed to be working perfectly fine when we tested it. Thank you one again for providing feedback and it is unfortunate you experienced the wet weather during your stay. Kind regards, Gold Coast Holiday Homes

Hi Trudy, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for your stay. We apologise that the cleaning was not up to standard and wish we had been notified during your stay, as we would have arranged for our cleaner to reattend and rectify any issues. Thankfully the border is now open between QLD and NSW so travel is much easier between the two states. Thank you for pointing out the unit is not on the ground floor, but on the first floor. We thought you could tell from the photos, however we will update the listing to clearly note it is located on the first floor. We are so pleased you enjoyed the location and facilities and we look forward to welcoming you back! Kind regards, Gold Coast Holiday Homes

Hi Joanna, Thank you for your lovely review. It is a very idyllic locations. We hope to welcome you back soon. Regards, Gold Coast Holiday Homes
