We loved the weekend away. Was so nice to take the dogs with us and they loved being able to run around the property. Would recommend a stay here

Thank you Nicole it was a pleasure having you all and I'm glad you had a lovely time. Thank you also for taking that little extra care when you left - we really appreciate having guests like you.
We enjoyed the serenity and the privacy of the Lodge. There were some amazing waterfalls just up the road and you can head to the coast if the weather is nice. Great communication with the Hostess.
What a beautiful part of the world! Lilypad Lodge is gorgeous, very well appointed and we felt right at home. Highly recommended for couples and families. Thank you, we will be back 😊

Lovely spot
The location is lovely and peaceful especially if you are a bird watcher. As noted by earlier reviewers, there are some cleaning and maintenance issues with the house which would make this a more comfortable stay.

Hi Lucia, we've worked hard to get every issue rectified, so was relieved that your main one was that the microwave was missed by the cleaner. As we discussed unfortunately we had the worst visitors ever stay just prior to your visit and the cleaner had to spend a huge amount of time cleaning up garbage from all around the house and garden, and putting everything right again in addition to her usual cleaning. It did take her out of her routine as she kept finding things in odd places etc. I"m sorry about that and I'm glad you could still enjoy your visit and surrounds.
Very enjoyable stay, plenty of room for five adults (colleagues). Very cute house, everything we needed was provided. Tiff was very accommodating to our needs. Great experience. Would love to spend more time at the property.

Thank you Beverley! So happy to be able to provide a memorable birthday!
Relaxing and lovely locating. Relaxing for all of us. I love walking to the dam. There is everything you need and the fire was perfect with the cold wet weather. Thank you for a great place to stay. We have been in warmer months too, comfortable in winter and summer.

Thanks so much Kelly it was lovely having you visit again. I hope we see you again soon!
The home is perfect for a country getaway. My kids loved the rec room, the outdoor tree swing. The setting is magnificent. The pics don’t do the home justice. We visited wineries, shops and beaches.
A beautiful rustic property with loads of space to spread out and enjoy the view and blissful serenity of country life, we often heard the cows in the neighboring property. The kitchen is well equipped including a decent sized fridge and bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay including a game or two of pool and table tennis.
A very pleasant escape for our family. To hear the birds and not traffic is very peaceful. Perfect weather, took heaps of warm clothing and didn’t use much of it. Great big fireplace inside helps your mind wander!!
We enjoyed our summer stay at Lilypad lodge. Being pet friendly was a huge draw card and our dog felt very at home and totally enjoyed herself. We loved being amongst the trees with the sounds of wildlife around us, complete with a visit from a large lizard on the front deck. House was comfortable with plenty of space for our family of 4 plus dog. Tiffanie was a very helpful and accommodating host. Pretty part of NSW.

I'm so glad you all enjoyed your stay. It was a pleasure having you. We would love to see you again if you are up our way!
Lilypad Lodge is set in a really picturesque part of the world. We had a great few days away exploring this part of NSW. Our 2 dogs loved the freedom of being able to explore not only around the house but also the paddocks around the house. Tiffanie was very easy to communicate with. The house was comfortable and had everything we required for our 3 night stay

Thank you Christine I'm so glad you all enjoyed our beautiful corner of the world. It was a pleasure having you visit!
It is a lovely house in a tranquil setting. It was so lovely to get away from the city and to be able to hear the birds in the trees. There were a few creepy crawlies around, but thats to be expected when you are so close to nature. The big windows showed off the view beautifully and we were able to spot a few different birds while sitting at the dining table.Everything was nice and clean and with some activites provided for rainy days, though we were lucky because we had lovely weather the whole time. When we were packing up to leave we wished we had booked to stay another night.
Was a lovely relaxing time away. You need to bring your own sheets and towels, which takes away from the relaxation a bit as it requires making of beds and washing afterwards, so this was a negative. Other than that, it was a wonderful, relaxing time. The pool table and ping pong table was a hit, and the short walk to the dam was lovely!
We stayed 2 nights at Lilypad Lodge in October and it was such a relaxing experience. The property is large and has all the necessary mod cons to make it as comfortable as home whilst feeling like you’re transported to another world where little Disney birds chirp while you eat your breakfast overlooking the valley! Most importantly for me, Tiffanie was generous in accommodating my 2 well behaved dogs who were permitted to sleep inside at night. We would love to return to Lilypad Lodge again one day!

Hands down one of the most beautiful parts of the Stewart’s river area !! And the Lilly Pad lodge is the best place to stay in as well !! Wood fire by a scenic landscape that cant be described until you’re there!! The Kookaburras were also a highlight and dusk and dawn , I would recommend this place to all my friends and colleagues for sure and Tiff made the process simply amazing !! I would definitely come back in the futre’

Property was in a good location.
Property was in a good location offering many activities such as table tennis, pool table, outside dining area and inside wood fire.
Cleanliness was a negative-microwave filthy- couldn’t use, bottom of fridge dirty, dishes in dishwasher, cob web’s hanging from door way to name a few.

I'm really sorry if some things were missed by the cleaner for your stay. I've checked with the visitors immediately before and after and it seems to have just been an unfortunate miss by her for your visit and I've let her know. I try to make sure all my visitors have the best stay possible, my communications always reiterate to please contact me immediately if there is any issue at all or any question, and I must admit I'm a little confused as to why you responded to my text checking in with you almost two days after the start of your visit with "thanks all good so far" if there was a problem, instead of voicing your concerns, and letting me possibly do something to help?

Family getaway
Cute little cottage off the grid, just what we wanted. So good to put the phones away and get back to nature. Loads of table tennis with the kids and board games. Great walks on and surrounding the property, even managed to catch the cows for the afternoon milking!!
The cottage does need a little bit of maintenance (bedroom door and downstairs bathroom door) but overall a pleasant stay.

Thank you Paul. I'm glad you enjoyed your visit and the sticky bunk room bedroom door that we discussed prior to your visit didn't stop you coming or cause too much of an issue (all fixed now of course!). The only bathroom door with a slight issue was in the downstairs flat - but that wasn't rented as part of your stay, so I'm not sure if you went in there?? Anyway I'm glad you enjoyed our lovely lush dairy cows corner of the world!
Failed to unlock and clean downstairs apartment. Dam access overgrown and inaccessible
We wouldn’t stay again

I am very disappointed with these comments. The cleaner did forget to unlock the flat, however would have come straight up to do so if you'd contacted us at all. I've repaired the damage you did breaking into it (as well as the window your daughter broke in the games room and replaced the broken pool cue) at my cost. I have now accessed the dam both by the 4WD road and the forest trail and both are clear.
Lilypad lodge is a truly lovely country experience. Plenty to explore on the property and completely surrounded by nature. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, broken only by the occasional mooing of the neighbours cows and lovely birdsong. We also enjoyed a variety of day trips from the beach to the beautiful hinterland and wineries. Communication with the owner was great, the very efficient and effective slow combustion fire was so snuggly at night. Phone reception was good (we’re with Optus).
Would definitely recommend if you’re wanting a very relaxing break
