Retro A frame kiwi batch - sitting amoungst native
Bush filled with cheeky Tui and other native birds. 4 levels including a ladder to the tippy top (great teenage getaway) and a seperate bunk room on the ground floor.
15 Mins from Turangi for supermarket cafes and great Pub food at the Turangi Pub. 10 mins from Tokaanu Hot pools, 45 mins from Taupo, 40 mins from ski fields. 5 mins walk to the Kuratau River mouth and lake front - short drive to boat ramp.
Lots of lovely local walks and bike tracks.

We are a family from Wellington who always enjoyed camping and the great outdoors but now with 6 grown up kids and 7 grandchildren we love to get together at our home away from home - it's just like camping but indoors - our friends and family loves it

Why they chose this property

We discovered Kuratau quite by accident but we love the feeling of the outdoors - beautiful scenery and the lake is a 2 min walk - amazing to swim in all year if you dare

What makes this property unique

It's very retro - very 70s - not perfect so easy to be comfortable and we are down to earth hosts
