The property itself has great potential. It just needs new floor coverings as the carpet is stained and smelly, but the rest of the house is great. It looks like it is just new on Stayz so I think the owners will get around to changing the carpet. Great garden and great location easy walking distance to shops and the beach etc.

It’s close to the shops, beaches, pubs, Oceans street and foods. (Happy) But, I didn’t like old carpet, dim lights, doors not closing enough, dirty knives and forks (I don’t used it), too far away from the mirror to shaven, windows that not strong enough to securely, no lights outside as safe at night, damaged by early holiday travellers or others, windows cover need upgrades. Average rates.

Access and general review
Access was not suitable for powered wheelchair which at the time originally booked Was a must. However unfortunately my daughter was unable to join us.
Shower needs updating as head very rusty.
Otherwise lounge nice but kitchen was not to a standard I needed so we had take away.
Good walking distance to shops and restaurants etc
Property is clean & comfortable in a very quiet street, close to main town area. It is an older, very basic holiday home but was all we needed. The oven and hotplates is a strange set up and I wasnt confident to use them. I have stayed in many holiday homes and this is the first one that hasnt provided any toilet paper whatsoever, so come prepared!

Excellent for the price
We all loved staying here! Very clean, kids (and adults) loved the reclining chairs. Yes it is a bit of a time warp with the furniture but who cares!! I couldn't find a property compendium which would have been helpful as I couldn't figure out why the Austar wouldn't work, though we finally did figure out the oven (sort of). Apparently the ceiling may be too low for ceiling fans but pedestal fans would be a great addition for the nights when the house hasn't quite cooled down yet. The outdoor setting needs more chairs (there were only 4) and one of them was broken. It was far enough away from supermarket (but an easy walk) and in a quiet street.

Central & Convenient
This house was adequate for two adults and three older children for a six day holiday. It is an older style house but the lounge was big enough and comfortable with reverse cycle aircon, large tv, dvd player plus foxtel. The kitchen is ok, large fridge, microwave, oven/cooktop (electric), sink (no dishwasher), pantry space with crockery & cutlery provided. The bathroom (nicely renovated) is on the smaller side but the hot water was instant and pressure was good. There are two toilets (one separate to the bathroom - always handy!) the laundry has a trough and a small automatic washing machine and there is a huge hills hoist in the medium sized backyard. The beds were comfy although the bottom bunk bed was unusable (too close to the top one) so we relocated the mattress onto the floor which was a solution. It was clean overall however there are quite a few "belongings" around which we didn't touch or use that made it feel like you were staying with grandparents but without the grandparents!
With the main street and Woolworths Supermarket only one block away it was a very convenient location.
Would stay here again as it was reasonably priced.
