The apartment was very nice and met all our needs while visiting Salem. Please keep in mind it is a 3rd floor walk up. (For the family I was traveling with it was not a problem, but if I had my parents -it might have been.) My 1 issue was the parking. It is on street parking on a busy main road…no driveway or designated area.
It was spacey, the beds were comfortable, everything was clean. Anisha was very helpful! We enjoyed a morning walk to the ritual coffee shop and loved it!
I stayed here for the Boston Marathon and had a great experience! Airport and downtown were easily accessible within a 15-25 min drive. The property had everything I needed and was very comfortable for my family. Would definitely stay here again?
Host was a great communicator. Parking is awful if you have a car. Had to message the host a few times about it throughout the trip. Very clean. Dishwasher is not properly installed, and the facet in the bathroom was loose. WiFi is not great. Tight stairway up to the 3rd floor. We had a great trip otherwise. Great location. Very comfortable beds and close to plenty of food options. 20-25 Ride shares to DT Boston if you don’t have a car, or just don’t want to drive.
Parking was only big issue. Was told they had parking tags to park on street but did not. Went to city hall and was not able to get parking pass. Besides this and lack of certain cleaning supplies, the stay was okay
Our stay here was decent. Not the best, but not the worst. It was very clean, had all the bedrooms we needed and was very close to Boston which was a plus! Our host communicated quickly which was appreciated. The cons were that we had to go up three flights of stairs which we didn’t realize. I feel like that could be advertised better. It was a lot of hauling suitcases and stuff for my family of 5 including small kids. The stairs are also narrow and winding which makes it difficult. The parking also was annoying. We didn’t realize there was no onsite parking really. You have to park on the street but apparently the police give tickets after midnight. After communicating with the host, she allowed us to park on the patio of a restaurant that is right next to the apartment so that helped. Also, the furniture was very flimsy and not very comfortable. The master bed seemed to be made up of a bunch of mattress toppers instead of an actual mattress. The dining room chairs were so flimsy it felt like they would break sitting on them… and my kids often fell off of them. The couch was very uncomfortable. Because the price was so good though—- it might have balanced out. Also if you plan to do a lot of cooking, the sink had the worst water pressure—it was hard to do anything in the sink, plus the sole oven mitt there had a hole in it and I ended up burning myself a little bit. Overall our stay here was okay— redeemed by price, location and fast communication with the host.
First, great host. Second, the place is amazing, quiet and private. If you like indian cuisine, you must try the restaurant under the appartement, it’s excellent and cheap!!!
We had such a great stay! The host was super helpful and easy to communicate with. The place was really clean, super cozy, and surprisingly quiet even though it’s above a restaurant and another unit. Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Just a heads-up — the stairs are pretty steep, so it can be a little tricky with luggage. Other than that, everything was fabulous!
Overall very comfortable and clean stay. Street Parking was easy for me for our weekend trip. The beds were super comfy and plenty of space for a family of 5. Rules were simple and check in/out was a breeze. Balcony was cute and had a sunset view with direct access to the restuarant downstairs. Thank you very much for the hospitality.
This was a great location, felt safe and parking was very easy. I will say we were missing some things, the soap dispenser was broken in the bathroom with not nozzle for the soap to come out, and there was no hand towel in the bathroom.
Enough spaces for 4 of us to sleepNice and strong air conditioning, a bit noisy but strength makes it upNice mixed cuisine restaurant downstairsTV didn't work - but the manager was on it to fix it.Easy to park on the street for our big car
