Perfect Getaway

We stayed for the week of 4th of July, This was our first time renting a lake house and it surpassed our expectations. When we arrived, the house was clean and much bigger than we expected. We and our guests truly enjoyed everything this house had to offer; from the beautiful views from the air conditioned back porch, the dock, the fuse ball table, even down to the ping pong table. We enjoyed every second of our stay and didn’t want it to come to an end, but we cannot wait to return again soon!

Very Nice!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was big enough to give everyone space and the air conditioned patio overlooking the lake was a favorite place to sit. The kitchen and bathrooms are older but very clean and well kept, the floors are all laminate no carpet which is important to us. The apple TV was a big plus, movies to watch and TV was a large flat screen in family room and another one in the master. Beds were all very comfortable. The dock is spacious and is very clean, I can't say enough about cleanliness as we have rented many houses in Lake Placid and not all have been clean and well kept up. The lake is fantastic, rarely did it get rough, perfect for wake-board and tubing. We will return!

A perfect two months

We absolutely loved this quiet retreat on Lake Placid. The house was roomy, clean and contained everything we could possibly need. Sitting on the patio every morning with our coffee watching the sun rise over the lake was so relaxing (far preferable to shoveling snow)! The dock is great for sunning, communing with the birds and catching a few largemouth bass. Jim and Nan were so easy to work with, we couldn't have imagined nicer folks. The town of Lake Placid is a gem - nice library, shops, eateries and Sebring is just 15 minutes up the road when you need more. We would highly recommend this rental property and intend to return there ourselves!
