Moorings - escape

'The Moorings' is a beautiful fully renovated 1930's cottage located on the picturesque Prosser River.

Fully fenced safe large backyard ideal for children's play and outdoor entertaining.

The three bedrooms comprise 2 queen beds and one tri bunk, sleeps 7 comfortably.

Spacious sunny open plan living with reverse cycle heat pump and wood fire.
Fully equipped modern kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine, microwave and dishwasher.

Children's toys and highchair (on request).

Adult, children's and toddler bikes, beach toys, golf clubs & 2 kayaks.

Enjoy a short stroll to Millington's Beach and the local children's park or a short drive to beautiful Spring Beach.
The Thumbs walk is close by or take the Convict trail which follows the Prosser River.

Located on the Esplanade and only minutes to the local café, wood fired pizza, well stocked IGA and newsagency.

Leisurely 10 minute walk to Blue Waters for a counter meal and a 10 minute drive to the fish punt at Triabunna for fresh fish and chips.
The Eastcoaster is located between Orford and Triabunna and serves meals daily.

Triabunna also has a butcher, chemist, IGA, hotel and is where the ferry departs daily to beautiful Maria Island.

No camper vans, camp trailers or tents with unauthorised guests permitted.
This will result in an immediate cancellation of booking.

It is Close to shops, cafes, beaches, fishing and more.We really enjoyed our short stay, it was very relaxing and a beautiful place to make new memories with our family. The property catered for all ages with entertainment, the beds were very comfortable and it was super clean. We enjoyed cooking our own pizzas in the pizza oven and enjoy some time around the fire pot afterwards, we will definitely be back

Fantastic home and location

We loved staying in this property, very homely and clean. Excellent location and very comfortable for our family of 4. My only suggestion for an improvement might be some fly screens :) Loved every minute of our stay and will definitely be back

Quiet and comfortable

Excellent quiet location overlooking the water. The beds were very comfortable. A fully equipped property within a short walking distance to cafe, supermarket and Pub. Will stay again

Peaceful getaway

We had such a relaxing, peaceful time away.The views of river and then peaceful undercover area , listening to the birds in nearby gums.Beds super comfortable , kitchen amazing and all was very clean.We look forward to returning.Thanks Jane for a amazing holiday.

How's the serenity?

The house felt like a home. It was spacious, well appointed and comfortable. Though just 2 friends having quiet time out, the house would also suit an active, outdoorsy family

Home Away From Home

The Moorings is absolutley beautiful.Everything you would need was there.Kitchen was well equipped and a joy to cook in.Beds were very comfortable,good bed linen.The location was great,close to supermarket,cafes and the beach.Will definatley be back.

Relaxed by the River

The property was great. It had everything we needed (and more). We enjoyed a paddle in the kayaks on the river just over the road, and it was easy to relax in the lovely house. Great facilities for cooking. Our 18 month old grandson enjoyed the toys and watching the rabbits. Overall, an idyllic holiday location.

Conveniently located, great views. Beautifully renovated. The inclusion of a clothes dryer and an extra blanket for every bed would be most useful. Loved the fireplace and the layout of the kitchen. Many activities provided eg: kayaks, bikes, cricket bats and board games.

Simply Perfect!

Moorings Escape was perfect for us! Perfect location and perfect set up, everything you could think of has been included in this holiday home. The cute little rabbit residents and bird life was an added enjoyment. Due to additional family joining us on our Tassie Trip, standard accommodation wasn't going to fit everyone and meant we'd be split up. If you're looking for family accommodation that includes everything you need in a home away from home within easy reach of Maria Island and East Coast beaches, Moorings Escape is that place!
