Booked this property for my son and his family for a short Christmas visit. They loved the cosiness of the property-even their 6 year old commented. Small compared to some - but perfectly formed. The front deck with the beautifully peaceful garden was like an extra room. Would stay again.
We had a wonderful stay. The cottage has a beautiful ambience with an outdoor decking for al fresco dining immersed in a lovely garden setting. Comfortable lounge suite in open plan living area. Master bedroom was very comfortable. I loved the walk on the shared walking/bike trail along the beach frontage to Portarlington. Lovely vistas. Great for cycling. I cycled down to St Leonard on a hired e-bike from Indented Heads to St Leonard’s and then back to Portarlington. What a great ride. All in all a great stay and wonderful holiday.
First of all, thank you Cindy for being such a thoughtful and responsive host. We loved the cottage. Comfortable beds and furniture, cosy wood heater, a fully equipped kitchen. All the lovely seaside touches including paintings by local artists. A native garden full of surprises including the solar fairy lights at night. Quite magical. Just the best cubby house in a good size backyard. Beautiful trees which attract the birds and provide shade. Quiet area and only a short walk to the beach and township. We look forward to our next stay at Little Port Cottage.

Loved the cottage and most impress3d with the quality of the cottage and the grounds.
However, I did not receive any information after I had booked except for initial acceptance of payment, therefore we had not way to get in and we had no towels with us. With two littlies this was a bit hard.
Had to ring owners who helped us get in.
The Little Port Cottage is a great place for a family to relax and enjoy a relaxing holiday within walking distance to the sea. It's clean and comfortable to.
My partner and I stayed at Little Port Cottage with 4 kids 9-16. The cottage was so cosy and private, walking distance to everything so the kids can go away and leave us alone. Loved it.
Clean, cosy and comfortable with delightful touches. Enjoyed the woodfire and the shower was superb. Quirky garden, secure yard for my dog and so close to the esplanade we could walk for kilometers either way. Would definitely stay again. One tip, BYO towels, I didn't but the owner obligingly lent me a towel.
We enjoyed 3 nights at Little Port Cottage. The house was well equipped and very comfortable. We loved having the wood fire going in the evening, it warmed the whole house. Sitting on the front veranda enjoying a cuppa and looking at the interesting garden was very relaxing.
My daughter (17) and I loved this charming little cottage and gorgeous garden. Cosy and warm and very clean. It has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. We will return.
