Awesome views!
Wonderful long weekend! View is fabulous, hot tub was great. House was clean, but an eclectic layout. Justin was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.
We had a good stay. The place is nice. We didn’t have any issues with anything really. Bathrooms and rooms were great. Kitchen was stocked fairly well. Garage access was great. Hot tub worked great for us. I’d recommend it.
Perfect place to spend time with friends from all over the states. Amazing scenery view over the balcony. Well insulated you can’t even feel the cold coming in. I’ll definitely rent it again if I have a chance of coming back. The hot tub was a cherry on top.
Loved this property and its fun floor plan. Spacious and lots of places to hang out as family and sleep. Loved the hot tub. Easy to use and beautiful view. Gas smell from the furnace room made us a little weary, but owner assured it has been checked out multiple times from the local fire department. Gas smell did make us hesitant to use fireplace.

Great Views
The house was great for our extended family with plenty of room. We had some issues when we first arrived, there was a 4 foot snow bank blocking the driveway and there were no towels in the home. Tina was a great help but the property was not prepared for guests when we arrived. Otherwise it was a great stay!

Hi Jonathan, thank you for choosing to stay in our home, and thanks for taking the time to leave a review.
-As our home is located in the mountains, guests booking during the winter should expect mountain roads and winter weather conditions. While we cannot control the weather conditions and the roads, we’re sorry to hear this impacted your stay. The roads and driveway are usually plowed within a couple of hours. Yes, the views from our home are spectacular!
-We do provide plenty of towels to accommodate the house occupancy. Before your stay, the home was thoroughly checked and the laundry was done. There are plenty of towels located in the cabinets under the bathroom sink. Once we were made aware of your inquiry about towels, our Property Manager graciously showed you where they are kept
We appreciate your feedback, and we are confident that future guests will continue to enjoy five-star stays here!
We booked this property for the hot tub and view. The view was awesome but the hot tub was not. The house needs alot of work and needs to be cleaned. We definitely over paid would not recommend this property. I am sorry to say we just dealt with it and enjoyed our family time. We tried contacting guest services with no response.

From the owner: "Dina, thank you for leaving a review and I am sorry it didn't meet your expectations. I am listed as the one of the primary contacts and wish we could have spoken immediately to get the hot tub issue resolved accordingly. Regarding the cleaning, I have contracted with a new company and I will be sure to forward them your feedback. Additionally, this house is a cabin in the mountains with character, not a modern home with luxurious upgrades. I am aware that it has some flaws which is why I like it. This is a place to enjoy the quietness, friends and family, sit around a fire in the living room or outside or have a cocktail on the deck and enjoy the view."

Great space but not ideal for winter travel
We appreciated the space. It was clean and allowed for comfortable spaces for everyone to sleep. There was a great view! Unfortunately, the driveway was not plowed before we arrived or during our time and there was quite a bit of snow. The property manager didn't respond when asking about snow removal. We had 4wheel drive and still got stuck in the driveway. I would suggest renting this space during the non snowy times.

Great but misleading
Overall the cabin was good but I don't appreciate the misleading pictures posted. The layout is very weird and the bottom floor is very outdated while the top floor is very nice. The bathroom doors didn’t lock, smoke detectors weren’t even set up, and a battery was missing in the tv remote (I had buy some). It seemed like a house in the middle of renovation. Outside deck with the hot tub and view was beautiful and the house itself wasn’t in terrible shape. I would rate my experience a 4/5 but because I was mislead I’m giving this cabin a 3.
Overall the trip was good, the house was nice but there was a strong smell of gas the whole time we were there. I reached out to the host and she said it had been checked. However, it was strong enough that as soon as you walked into the house it was noticeable and would give headaches. Definitely something is not right with the furnace exhaust. Due to the smell we will not rent again.

Hi Terry, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: The safety of our guests will always be our highest priority. We had the fire department at the home four times in the last two years to check the gas smell and inspected the home. The home is within code and has passed the inspection for safety and found no issues to resolve. Nonetheless, you let us know about the concern with the smell and took action immediately. We had a technician at the property as soon as we were able to address your concerns and clean the furnace to ensure our high standards are being met and exceeded. We understand your concerns and are taking extra measures by also replacing all the CO2 sensors in the home. While we've never experienced safety issues, we're sorry if this made your stay uncomfortable in any way. Thanks for your feedback. We have taken steps to address the issues within our control, and we are confident that future guests will enjoy great stays here!

Outdated and Dirty
When you first walk in you get greeted by the small of gas coming from the garage mud room. Which was a bit alarming. We kept that section of the house closed. Once we got passed the gas smell we were a bit confused on the lay out. The master bathroom was dirty. Spider webs above the master bedroom shower and hair/pink stains all over the shower. The sheets in the master bedroom had hair on them and dirt. We had to shake all the sheets to get any dirt off. In the kitchen the dishes were still dirty from the past tenants. We had to re wash all the pots and pans.
If it wasn’t for the hot tub and the view I would have considered finding another house. Overall for the rental price it was way over priced for what we got. Almost 1k a night with all the fees included. Plus a huge cleaning fee which we would have been happy to pay if the place was clean from the start.
2.5/5 start experience.

The house had potential and the location was beautiful. The deck and hot tub were nice, but beyond that the place was disgusting. We spent the first hour or more cleaning. There were bugs and cobwebs everywhere and every surface had a thick layer of dust. We cleaned dishes by hand with what little dish soap there was and stacked everything we were going to use on the counter because the cabinets were too gross to put the dishes back in to. The light above the stove was covered in grease with dead bugs stuck it. Walking through the house upon arrival, especially the basement resulted in our legs being covered in cobwebs. There were several light bulbs out which not only made the place feel worse, it was also a nuisance trying to eat supper in the dim lighting. It was so bad that our kids began to joke "was that a blueberry or a bug I just picked up off the floor?" We spent 30min just washing one of the three nasty coffee makers to try to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. We were short paper towels and ended our stay sharing toilet paper between the basement and upstairs bathroom. The basement shower dripped all night and barely drained when showering leaving you standing in dirty water up to your calves. When we reached out to the contacts using multiple methods, we got no response until after we left. The manager was out camping apparently. We did receive a refund for one night's stay, which was a fraction of what the cleaning and management fee were.

Not a good experience.
Unfortunately, our stay at this property was disappointing due to several issues that impacted our comfort and overall experience. To begin with, the house was not clean upon arrival. There was visible dirt on the floor and dust on furniture and bunk beds, which made the place feel neglected. We also noticed spider webs throughout various areas of the house, adding to the sense that it had not been properly prepared for guests. There were not enough towels provided for our group, and the contact person we were given was unhelpful and unresponsive. We ended up washing the few towels ourselves and reusing them for the entire stay. Despite requesting a cleaning service, no one ever came. The upstairs bathroom had a very odd and impractical layout. There was no door separating the shower from the master bedroom, which made privacy impossible. This meant that anyone needing to use the shower forced those staying in the bedroom to leave. The toilet door knob was also broken, so it wouldn’t close properly, requiring someone to physically hold it shut—an uncomfortable and inconvenient situation. To add to the discomfort, the air conditioning didn’t work, and the house became hot, especially during the night. This made it difficult to relax or sleep comfortably. In summary, the property suffered from poor cleanliness, inadequate amenities, and a lack of support from the host. It may not be a good choice for larger groups or anyone expecting a well-maintained and comfortable rental.
We were excited to arrive at the property only to quickly discover that several things weren’t quite right. The door was unlocked upon arrival which we thought was odd. We went through the rooms to see who sleep where and when checking bedding found stained and dirty sheets, blankets, and mattresses on multiple beds. The
Bunk room where the kids were planning to sleep didn’t have working lights, the bathroom didn’t have a lock, the tub didn’t have a plug to keep the water in, the DVD player didn’t have
Cords that allowed it to function, and when we were ready to enjoy the hot tub we found the water cold and unusable. The property manager was quickie to communicate with us about our needs and concerns but nothing was done to fix any of the problems during our stay. The hot tub we were told had an air leak and we would need to reset it often during our stay. It was low on water and despite multiple resets, pots of water to refill, and attempts to use it, we were only able to use it for one night of our four night stay. We purchased a plug for the tub and cords for the DVD player and found old sheets in a closet to remake the beds. Aside from the issues above, the home was comfortable, well stocked, and we enjoyed our time as a groups of friends and family. The location was beautiful, we just wish we could have used the hot tub under the starry sky and had working and clean amenities inside
As anticipated.

Hi Nadia, this homeowner works hard to provide a relaxing stay for all guests, and they were sorry to hear that you experienced a couple of issues.
- The owner confirmed that the hot tub and fireplace are both working.
- The fireplace can be tricky to light occasionally, and the hot tub will get an airlock from time to time, but they would have been happy to help you with both items had you reached out.
- The owner assured us that the water was quickly restored as well, and they hope the partial refund granted helped make up for any inconvenience you felt.
- We encourage future guests to reach out right away should they need anything! The owner is always available to address concerns that might arise.
My husband, 2 kids (3yr and 6yr), and I stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it! The massive windows and views were what drew me in, and they did not disappoint! The hot tub is huge and all of us enjoyed it each night. Beds were all comfortable! You definitely need a 4 wheel drive vehicle for Winter months. Very close (15min) to restaurants (fyi most close early!), skiing, snow tubing, snow mobility, Hot Sulphur Springs and more! Eat at Strip and Tail on Sunday for all you can eat snow crab legs (must make reservation). Our only suggestion would be to add TVs to the bedrooms, as there is only one TV downstairs. Overall, we enjoyed and would recommend!
We were looking for a family get away vacation and looked at photos online and thought for the price we were paying we would be getting a really nice place.
We showed up to check in at correct time only to have cleaning people still inside. After we got to go in the place was still very dirty with cobwebs, dust, and dirt. The indoor tub had sign do not use, window handles were missing or broken, light fixtures were broke others without lights, garbage was left in the garage and stunk. My wife and I were upset. We contacted Justin the owner who proceeded to tell us he would waive the cleaning fee and lower overall cost to an agreed upon price per night. We agreed….although my wife wanted to take our kids to a hotel. Then once we got home he said his company wouldn’t stand behind his agreement we had made and we could take it up with the VRBO. For me this is a lie and unethical and I won’t ever do business again with this person again. Think twice before renting this place. For us it wasn’t what we thought we were getting….and certainly not worth the cost.

Nice isolated cabin in the wooded highlands
We did a last minute family trip to Granby Ranch and this cabin was available at a decent rate. First off the cabin is itself is nicely situated in the highlands and has a beautiful views of the lower valley. We saw elks feeding outside the house in the morning and evenings. The was plenty of room for our large family, internet wifi was great for the kids, the hot water was plentiful, house heater worked great, kitchen supplies (spices, etc) were already there saving us for some grocery trips, and the kids loved the hot tub. . Check in and check out was a breeze. We didn't use the gas fireplace at all as there wasn't a need for it. Justin was good at answering my text when we had some questions. All in all it was a fine rental but there wear some misses with the cabin.
1. the listing said no pets, but there was dog/cat hair on all the blankets and comforters and throughout the cabin. Tried to wash but the washer/dryer seemed to add animal hair to our clothes, even after cleaning the lint filter. Management said they would send cleaners over to change the bed sheets, but that didn't happen. The place really needs a complete deep cleaning.
2. This is an older cabin, so everything creeks and makes noised. Didn't bother me, but you hear every step at night. Some of the dining chairs legs are looses and need to be tightened, I did my best with my hands, as there were no tools there or I would have done it myself.
3. There were five propane gas tanks for the grill and every one of them was empty and it was our last night, so I didn't bother calling it in. We were going to grill steaks but ended up cooking them in a pan which worked out fine.
4.Access road to the cabin is sketchy in heavy snow. A 4WD is highly recommended and should be a requirement or called out on the listing. We had one so it wasn't a problem but could have been it we didn't.
5. We knew going in that the place only had two bathrooms so it wasn't a problem for us. Just know that before you rent.
As I said, all in all the cabin was fine and we scenery was great. We really enjoyed our time there, even with the misses stated above.

Nice vacation home
The house was nice with room to spread out. It was located in a secluded area with lots of outside room to play in the snow or hike around. Within 15 minutes to both Granby Ranch and Winter Park to ski which was great.
This house is great- BUT definitely would NOT have rented had we known it wasn’t a 3 bath and fireplace wasn’t working. The listing mentions it’s amazing fireplace multiple times but yet it has been disconnected. When asked about- property manager stated that they’ve had problems with renters in the past? I felt this listing was falsely advertised. We had 5 adults (two couples and one single person) and 2 kids- which is the reason we looked for a house with 3 baths. When asked about property manager stated that was the way the house was listed when sold? There are a total of 2 toilets and 2 showers. When we arrived at the house it was 50 degrees. Took most of the evening to warm up-however the heat worked great after. Beds were comfortable and rooms were pretty spacious. Was nice to have washer and dryer. Kitchen was WELL equipped- plenty of condiments and anything you need.
