Star Lake Fishing Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect location for a fun packed fishing experience with our son and grandson with a guide based on Star Lake. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, screened in porch, fire pit and dock were a bonus. Kim was great to work with, and we will be back next year.

Comfortable Stay!

We loved our stay at Lakefront Family Getaway! The place is very spacious and comfortable, and it's just a great space to hang out as a family. We also loved the views of the lake! This property is centrally located between several nearby communities, and there are plenty of hiking trails and other recreational activities in the area.

Cabin With It All!

We had a wonderful stay at The Lakefront Family Getaway! The house is very welcoming and inviting, with a cabin vibe throughout. It has spacious rooms, comfortable beds, a fully stocked large kitchen, and extra comfortable furnishings. The lake views are wonderful, and the location is central to a couple of nearby towns. Driving through the woods to the rental is exceptionally relaxing. We also loved the outdoor space with a screened-in porch, firepit, and grill. We could not have asked for anything more!

A Special Week for My Family at a Special Place

I loved the location of this VRBO: secluded, quiet, peaceful. My family enjoyed fishing on the Little Tamarac Flowage, shopping in Eagle River (20 minutes south), and going on walks through the woods. We left feeling relaxed and recharged. The house was clean, cozy, and simple. Loved the outdoor decor; it helped add to the stay, especially the Terry Redlin print above the mantle. This was the perfect-sized house. The land near the lakefront was open and spacious, ideal for running around and playing with the kids. The place was easy to find, with straightforward and not overly complex instructions for when leaving. We saw bald eagles not far from the pier, soaring around the trees. Deer were walking throughout the area. We even saw a porcupine, which was super cool! The host was always readily available if we needed anything. I've been coming up to northern Wisconsin for many years and have stayed at numerous places, and this one ranks among the best of them! I would highly recommend it to others and am looking forward to renting it again for ourselves!
