About the host
Hosted by Tamara and Todd
We are Wisconsinites who have traveled to Colorado for vacations with family and friends many times in the past 30 years. Tammi says that CO is her "happy place". So we finally decided to take the plunge and invest in our own home in the mountains. We love to ski (alpine and nordic), hike, boat, go to concerts, savor the gorgeous views of the Rockies, and otherwise enjoy everything CO has to offer. We have two adult sons who are thrilled we've bought a mountain home, although they know that renters have first-dibs!
Why they chose this property
Easily accessible from Denver - only one pass (the Eisenhower Tunnel) to reach the mountains. Easy on/off of I-70. Great access to multiple world-class ski resorts, several cross-country ski areas, 100s of miles of hiking trails, lake activities, shopping and art festivals and concerts We have always loved Summit County; it offers everything, every season.
