★ The host was amazing, quick responses and super helpful with local suggestions!
Stately neoclassical mansions, cool cafes, eclectic eateries and homey pubs line Magazine Street where the property is located. Handmade jewelry, local antiques and vintage Mardi Gras costumes are on sale at the monthly Little Flea NOLA market, while a stretch of Magazine Street has antiques shops and clothing boutiques. Tiny parks like Annunciation Square and Coliseum Square are local gathering spots. If you have any questions about the neighborhood, please send us a message!
You will have full access to: • Entire second-floor unit • 3 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms • Living/dining area + full kitchen • Front balcony overlooking Magazine Street (parade route!) • Private rear balcony • In-unit laundry + stocked essentials
★ Bright, spacious, and incredibly walkable, couldn’t ask for more!
Please note: this is the upstairs unit of a duplex; the downstairs is occupied.
Hardwood floors catch the afternoon light, vintage-style touches nod to the neighborhood's storied past, and two balconies frame everything from quiet mornings to the electric energy of parade season. This restored second-floor unit on one of New Orleans' most beloved corridors puts you squarely in the heart of Uptown living - without sacrificing a single comfort.
Living space The open-concept living area invites you to spread out, whether you're gathered with the whole group or winding down after a long day on Magazine Street. A 55-inch HDTV with Netflix and Roku keeps the evenings easy, and the central air conditioning and ceiling fans ensure you're always comfortable, no matter what the weather is doing outside.
Sleeping arrangements Three bright, quiet bedrooms are each set up for genuinely restful nights. Plush beds dressed in fresh linens, room-darkening shades, and generous clothing storage - closet and dresser - make this just as suited to a week-long stay as a weekend escape. Both full bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and fresh towels, so you can travel light.
Kitchen & dining The fully equipped kitchen is ready for everything from a quick breakfast to a full group dinner. You'll find a Frigidaire refrigerator, Whirlpool electric stove and single oven, dishwasher, microwave, hot water kettle, drip coffee maker, Keurig, toaster, baking sheet, and all the cooking basics - pots, pans, oil, salt, and pepper. Dishes, silverware, and a freezer round out a setup that leaves nothing missing.
Outdoor living Both the front and rear balconies are yours to enjoy throughout your stay. Whether you're starting the morning with coffee in hand or watching the street come alive during festival season, these private outdoor spaces consistently rank as a guest favorite. Prime parade-season positioning makes them especially hard to leave.
Work & family Fast Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace with a door keep you productive when needed. In-unit washer and dryer handle longer stays with ease, and central heating pairs with the air conditioning for year-round comfort. Families are well catered for - a pack 'n play and folding high chair are available upon request, along with babysitter recommendations.
Location Step outside and you're on Magazine Street - blocks of independent boutiques, neighborhood cafés, and some of New Orleans' most character-filled streetscapes. The streetcar stops nearby, putting the French Quarter, the Superdome, and the rest of the city within easy reach. Whether you're here for Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, or simply to explore Uptown at your own pace, the location does a lot of the work for you.

Laissez-Faire Lounge on Magazine is the perfect location to access all that New Orleans has to offer both Uptown and Downtown/Quarter. It's very clean with the charm of an old NOLA home but updated with everything you need. Would definitely stay again!

You can’t beat this location! Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Very quiet and safe. The apartment was very clean. Our favorite area of the apartment was the porch and the rocking chairs. Would highly recommend this VRBO.

Thanks for the incredible review Trish! We're so happy you had a wonderful time staying with us and found the location great! We hope you choose to book with us next time you visit NOLA!
The property was clean and had the essentials we needed. The apartment was brght and airy. The front porch was delightful. The area was within walking distance of several restaurants and shops. The only downside was the lack of closet space, but that is the norm in New Orleans. The area felt safe and it was a nice place to walk around. It was convienent for my daughter to come by and pick us up as well.
