Easily one of the best equipped properties we have stayed at. Plenty of linens, bathroom supplies, dishes, fresh coffee...etc. Fantastic location. We had 3 of the properties over a long weekend and never ran out of anything. We will schedule our next trip around these properties availability. Thanks!

An OK Stay
We would stay here again but on the upper floor. We did not know there were two floors. The first night 9 people and a camper stayed there, noisey! The next night, two adults, 3 children and a dog.

Hi Steven, we appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear that you would consider staying with us again. After sharing your comments with the homeowner, they'd like to address your concerns:-We apologize for any noise disturbance you experienced during your stay. We do state in the listing that this is a lower-level unit, but we will ensure this information is more prominently displayed to avoid any confusion.-Unfortunately, we cannot control the behavior of other guests, but we do expect everyone to be considerate. We will reinforce this expectation with all future guests to help ensure a more peaceful environment for everyone.Thank you for your valuable feedback. We hope to have the opportunity to host you on the upper floor for an enjoyable stay in the future!
Check in instructions were clear and easy to follow.Property is well maintained and well equipped. Beds were clean an comfortable with plenty of spare bedding. Plenty of towels. Wi-Fi was fast enough to meet our needs and was reliable. Zero issues with it. Same with the TV service.Property is located right on Fritz Creek and is beautiful. It is only eight miles from town and in a quiet rural neighborhood. We were there five days and saw moose on the property twice. We saw a total of 37 while driving between the property and town. Anyone seeking them should drive the road to town early in the morning/late in the evening. The large open fields along the way are moose magnets. We had one maintenance issue come up. Contact with the property contact was easy. He was responsive and had a repairman out to correct it same day. Great service all the way around. If anyone in your party has mobility issues (one in our party uses a cane and has balance issues), the other ground floor unit (Moose Meadow) would be a better choice than Creekside. We loved Creekside but it is a taller than standard step up to the deck and there are no handrails to assist. Moose Meadow is an easier step up and there is a corner wall that will help with support. Our only negative, and it was small and should be easy to correct: The three frying pans in the unit are in need of replacement as the teflon is peeling/chipping.

Rented both units
We enjoyed our stay here and having a large group of 9 it was nice to be all in the same place.... the big field and nearby creek was a delight for our younger visitors. We were a little unhappy with the sofa sleepers as they were not comfortable for the 2 adults who needed to sleep on it It may be time for an upgrade of the mattresses. All in all it was nice place to stay not right in the mist of the busy 4th of July in Homer.

Great place but SO loud
We had the upper unit in one house and the lower in another. After asking they were unable to accommodate us all in one, I received a generic answer. Beautiful location with a stream running through the property. Close to town but secluded. Things were in good working order, plenty of towels, pillows, etc.
It was so loud everyday in the lower unit. Sounded like they were pulling out the kitchen cabinets and doing a remodel. Otherwise was a perfect place to stay.
Traveled to Homer several times, usually alone and stay on the spit. This time I brought family who wouldn’t have appreciated it as much. Found this little gem and we all had a grand stay! Highly recommend for all ages- thank you 😊
The property was immaculate and so comfortable for my little family of 4. We appreciated the amenities offered such as fully stocked kitchenette and proximity to town yet secluded. Will definitely recommend to friends and stay in the future.
No sound proof barrier between up stairs and down.
We loved the apartment is was nicely set up and we were thrilled with the cleanliness. However, there is no sound barriers between first & second floor. A couple with four kids stayed in top floor. Every movement of chairs, walking, jumping made it sound like they were coming through the ceiling. Some sounds were so loud it rattled the dishes in our cupboard.
The property was great! The scheduling of 3 families with 6 Adults, 6 children , & 2 dogs in the upstairs apartment was horrible. They were up un till 3am stomping, screaming, playing, & banging the 1st night. They did the same until midnight their 2and night.
