Cleaning in addition to cleaning fee!?! Annoying.
We already paid to stay here and were totally annoyed at the to-do cleaning list in addition to the cleaning fee! It might be normal to VBRO but I will remember to stay in a hotel.Having people upstairs was also annoying. Again, could have stayed in a hotel if we wanted that noise.

Hi Carol, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We wanted to share the following:- We do not have any unusual cleaning requests for guests. We just ask for basic check-out steps like taking out the trash, which are noted in our standard departure instructions and reflected in the listing details.- This property does have a separate upstairs unit, which is also noted in the listing, so guests know what to expect. We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

A nice and quiet place. We rented the downstairs unit. Kids and I had a great time. There is also a place to have a fire and the kids roasted hot dogs on our last night and made s'mores. It is a very quiet neighborhood. The interior was very nice. Comfortable and clean place. The creek was lots of fun for us as well. The family next door had kids and we made some friends, they also had horses, and ducks and chickens and dogs and I think a goat! It's a really wonderful and quiet area.
The noise transfer from the upstairs was terrible and relentless. There were no instructions on how to use the TV/Dish. Dishes were chipped. Allowed dogs but there was no receptacle outside for cleaning up after the dogs. On the upside the unit has sufficient space, beds were comfortable, and linens were good. It was clean, and the host was thoughtful in providing tea and coffee.

2nd floor ridiculous noises
If I have to rent again, definitely is not the one because there is a bunch of bad things starting with towels (smell like pee),than then the fan in to the bathroom need to be replace or clean...is make just noise, the toilet doesn't have a lid..to cover,in the kitchen some of the pans are banded, and no lid...but the horrible thing was the 2nd floor rented by someone else and at 5 am starting waking and make a lot of noise.I think between the floor there is no isolation because it's make a lot of noises. At 6 am they grounded coffee...on my head...that's INSANE...I'm in vacation to enjoy everything not to ruined my time's. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMAND THIS PROPRETY IF YOU WANT TO ENJOY YOUR VACATION. FROM 1 TO 5....FOR.ME IS 2 CAZ I'M A NICE GUY,I LOVE FARMS BUT NEAR BY IS THIS FARM AND THE PIG FECALS SMELL IS ALL OVER.I HOPE THIS REVIEW IS FOR OTHER PEOPLE TO READ BEFORE BOOKING THIS PLACE.

Hi Cornel, thank you for sharing your thoughts on your stay. The homeowner would like to address the concerns you raised:- We assure you that our towels are professionally cleaned, and we've never received similar feedback regarding odors.- The bathroom does have a lid on the toilet, and we'll double-check the fan to ensure it's working properly.- Regarding the noise, we understand this can be disruptive, and we're looking into solutions to minimize sound between floors.- As for the smell, there is no farm nearby, and we've never had other guests mention this issue. We're confident this is not a problem. Once again, thank you for sharing your feedback with us.
The apartment was beautiful, clean and quite. We did have a very nice time.
We very much enjoy your bestifill place.

Clean and quaint!
We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay! The place was clean and had everything we needed. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming to and from the Spit, about 10 minutes, but not too bad! We had kids and they loved being able to go down to the creek. The only downside was the fold away bed was full of crumbs from
The previous client, and the sleeping arrangements were 2,2,2 (we had 5 so one person slept solo on the couch sofa). We would stay there again! A fire pit would be a nice addition, but it really is a nice little place to stay!
We enjoyed our stay at this property, but there are a few things that disappointed me. The post did not say it was two units when I booked. I found out after it was paid for in full, and they sent me the instructions for arrival. If you are on a bottom unit, you get a lot of noise from the top unit. Also, the pump for the water tank is right next to the bedroom with double beds, and it’s very loud. I also would have preferred black out blinds/curtains for the long summer daylight.
Other than those issues, we really enjoyed this place. It’s very close to town, but secluded enough to feel away from things. Very clean, and has everything you need for cooking. Bring your own grill though if you want to grill out. The creek is beautiful. You will want to relax by it as much as you can just to listen to it flow.
Would definitely rent this place again, but only a top unit next time.
